Went for lunch today. 20 minute wait and when we were seated noticed there were at least 10 empty tables and booths???? Steak was good. Bread was kind of dry and tasteless. Honestly the best part of my meal was the rice pilaf. I was going to order the Trout with Lobster and Shrimp topping but unfortunately they were out. So I went with the Salmon and had them add the Lobster and Shrimp topping. My husband and son both ordered steak medium, one turned out medium well the other medium rare. 4pm on Sat my wife and I went to LH. We were told there was a 20 minute wait. Looked at 5 empty tables in bar area. Saw at least 4 empty tables in main area. And it took almost 20 minutes to get seated. If they don't start paying people to work, this store will go out of business. Can't complain about the food or the service once you're seated. read more

My experience started as a one star. We waited about 10 minutes for our server to approach us(it was a packed restaurant so that was understandable). We get our orders in, and 25+ min later the server comes back and to our surprise the kitchen was out of what we ordered. When we were expecting our food we got presented the bad news instead. We decided to leave as we were not willing to wait another 20 or so minutes for our food to come out. As we were walking out the manager Mike (nickname is big mike) approached us and was very apologetic for the service and experience we had. I really didn't want to go back as I was hungry and I'm not the type to accept handouts(free food/coupons/etc), I just don't go back. Mike was very persuasive and wanted us to give them another chance, I appreciated the passion he had for his job and that is the only reason we wanted to give another chance. I appreciate people who actually care about their job and wanting the customer to have a great experience. He gave us another server and he was awesome! Jake was Very attentive and relaxed. We have been to this location about 7 times before and we typically have a good experience, so I am thankful mike and Jake restored our faith and showed us a great experience. The food was great. We Ordered the salmon and flat iron steak. Both were delicious, the salmon was juicy and the steak was Succulent. Great job. Request Jake as a server you won't regret it. It's pretty bad when the best item that hit your table is an appetizer. The steak they served me tasted like chopped up bits of a cows backside glued together with a cows underside which by the way would still taste better than whatever it is that landed on my plate. The service was like a sniper trying not to be seen whereas, the individual serving us arrived to our table real quickly and left real fast and wanted to earn the title "ghost." The food was terrible and the service just as bad. The friendliest person I saw there greeted me on my way out the door. One star is the best rating I would give it only because no stars wasn't available. Had to score something, never was served after an hour. Came in about 7:11, no peanuts no appetizer I ordered. Waited 20 minute for a water an a unsweetened tea. Should of known. Salads came out after an hour an we where leaving for the door. Some reason the rolls were taking an hour to cook with my chip and dip appetizer. Absolutely terrible. I'm from Vegas so I'm very fast paced but I'm also understanding things are a bit slower paced down south. Anyhow I came down here to visit my father and he took me to longhorn steakhouse for dinner. We got seated at 8:35 and had our order taken roughly around 8:45. Completely fine with the order being taken quickly and got our waters served to us. My father ordered a steak with broccoli and a salad. I order a filet with mac n cheese and asparagus; as well as a sweet tea Moscow. Roughly 30 minutes into waiting our server comes back and asks if we need anything. I look at her and say "yeah could I get that drink I ordered" she looks at me shocked and says "yeah I'll get that right away". She obviously forgot but then again doesn't bring my drink for another 30 minutes prior to that. So literally an hour later (after multiple tables around us somehow got there after us and got their orders before us) our food comes out and she brings my drink with the order. All my food came out but my fathers order came out with only his steak not his broccoli. Our waitress goes "I owe you some broccoli! Like no shit? You brought out everything except the one side he ordered. I watch her go to a different table to talk and take some orders then stand around gossiping with a coworker. After that finally comes over and says she's going to get my fathers side. At this point he's half way done with his steak and says don't even bother bringing it. Just bring us our check. I mean I got my drink an hour later with our whole meal. It was ordered at the beginning so I could enjoy it and sip on it. Instead I just had a sip and was ready to go home because I didn't want to chug it. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the order taking so long so we got $20 off our meal which yes was nice. Being completely honest tho the service was complete garbage here. I mean from the entire hour plus we were there, as soon as we walked in we saw dirty tables and they stayed dirty the entire time we were there. Not one even made an effort to clean these disgusting tables. One woman had a buss tub and I thought she was going to start but instead she just left it on the table with a dirty rag. Half eaten food, dirty napkins, silverware, just trashed tables everywhere while servers were all standing around talking. Oh and the cakes takes it, as we're walking out I see a server sitting (on a perfectly clean table for herself of course) out on the floor with customers still eating, sitting with her headphones on counting her tips out in the open. I don't know if I'm just snooty but holy crap it was a shit show here. The manager obviously don't give a rats ass about how it's ran, the cleanliness, or quality of the restaurant. Went there alone so I just grabbed a high top table rather than be seated by the waitress. I sat there for perhaps 10 minutes as dozens of wait staff walked right by me without so much as offering me a menu much less a glass of water or a drink. Finally a waiter (I think his name was Benny) stopped and asked if I wanted a drink. I said yes and also asked for a menu and a set up. Long story short, when he came back with the menu, I told him I was in a hurry and quickly ordered a fillet and baked potato with a side of mac and cheese. Then I waited...and waited... He walked past me another 2 dozen times and finally, after about 30 more minutes, I asked about my meal. He assured me it would be coming right out. Another 10 minutes later, he brought out my meal...and it was cold...and no mac and cheese. As I said, I was in a hurry and I was starving so I ate my meal, paid for it and left. I will never go back for obvious reasons. This place needs far better management who realize it is better to provide good service to one patron than poor service to many. Wonderful dinner! Our server's name was Stacey and she was a delight. I have extensive experience in the restaurant/service industry and can say with certanity that they know how to smoothly operate on a busy weekend. The manager on duty also handled a painfully rude and demanding table of two VERY well. They had multiple unreasonable complaints and from sitting next to them, I'm sure they were there to scam their way into a cheaper meal. Overall, the restaurant was really busy and we had our needs met and quickly. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars in because my husband's rare steak came out too undercooked but they resolved the issue promptly and politely. read more

I love longhorn. Their steak is amazing. But I went there about a week ago and the service was horrible. The wait was 15 minutes, but there was 4 tables not cleaned and servers standing playing on their phones. So I complained about it. I judge a restaurant on their bathroom and how clean they are. When I went in there, there was poop in yea toilet not flushed, no toilet paper on the rolls but ever where on the floor. Once we sat down and got our food it was delicious, but I won't be going back to that Longhorn for a while. read more

Brought out our drinks, then took their drink order. No problem. Cardinal rule, once you take an order, put it in! DO NOT take the next tables order & put them both in at the same time. 1., it's rude. 2., can back up the kitchen. 3., tells me you're lazy! Guess what? The other tables food came out first. Went here new years day with my family it was my fathers treat ironically they sat us the same table we sat the last time we visited. We were extremely disappointed with the staff. Don't know if she was having a bad day or off day but she was really not getting a tip. First it was a 2 hour wait to be seated then another hour before we even got bread which we actually had to request we were pretty famished by then we asked that our appetizer come way before the meal and it came 5 minutes before our entree. the appetizer was the calamari which thankfully very tasty 2 thumbs up there. As for our entrees 2 of our steaks were rare almost uncooked. My dad got up and spoke to the manager, and they remade my dads mine i said "don't worry i'll take it home" i was kinda full already. Longhorn in Pooler, GA gets 0 stars from me. On October 17, 2017, my birthday, four of us went to Longhorn for my birthday dinner. NEVER AGAIN! Firstly, the hostess was not interested in our arrival what-so-ever. She was on the phone and kept her back turned away from her customers waiting at the door. In all fairness, we could not determine if her call was business related or if she was checking in with her BFF? Eventually, a waitress came from the bar area to seat us. After some confusion about where to seat us, we took the longest route ever (with one of our party being handicapped) to a table sandwiched in between two large parties already seated. Secondly, the restaurant stinks! It has an overwhelming odor of "sour" as if someone had washed the entire restaurant with a sour dish rag. Thirdly, after being seated, we sat at there for twenty minutes with no recognition. It seemed as though there had not been a waitress/waiter assigned to our table. At one point a waitress and someone we thought may be a manager walked passed and my husband stood up and asked if we had a waitress. The one assumed to be the manager said, "you'll have to give her a second." WHAT?! We got up and left. In conclusion: I had a great birthday dinner at Texas Roadhouse. read more

Was seated quickly.. ordered.. appetizer came ... then began the wait. Waiter came by once ... Husband ordered another dewars only to be told they were now out of dewars also. Ordered a jack and coke... nope out of that too. I asked if they were out of our steaks also with the waiter just rolling his eyes. He then left to get a gin and juice. At the one hour mark sitting at our table we asked to see the manager. He came quickly to ask what the problem was... while my husband began to explain that we didn't want our meals any longer and why ... he interrupted to say well it's our policy not bring your meal if your continuing to ordered appetizers and drinks. Wait what?? We are starving and you're out of everything and somehow we are delaying our own meal?? Even the lady at the table beside us stopped us when we're leaving and said ... did that manager just try to blame you for having to wait for an hour for a meal??? Will not be back. read more

First, let me say the renegade sirloin and shrimp skewers with garlic butter is sooooo good. My guests also enjoyed their food. I ordered my steak well and it was not dry. My guest ordered the same but medium rare and it was a little under-cooked. Overall, we were satisfied with the food. The reason I am only giving this restaurant 3 stars is the cleanliness of the restaurant was very questionable. As soon as we walked in, we noticed the trash can near the young lady who checks us in had papers hanging over and some on the floor. As we are being seated, we noticed the horrible carpet smell. I believe the rugs need to be replaced or cleaned very good. My guest mentioned it could possibly be some mildew in the carpet. The absolute worst steakhouse experience of me and my boyfriends dining experience. Honestly, if I could give them zero stars, I would. From the moment we sat down the table then it took wait staff 10 minutes to come take our drink order and when she returned, the bread plates were dirty. From that point, we had pretty low expectations so we were hoping the food would make up for the experience so far. Wrong, so wrong. It took another 30 minutes after we ordered our food before we received it and when we did, my ribeye was so overcooked (I ordered my steak medium rare and it was nearly well done). I had to return my steak and we had to pack up my boyfriend's to go. The manager gave us 3 coupons for free appetizers and desert which we will never use as this was our first experience at longhorn and sadly, our last. We are steak people and this was literally the least enjoyable dining experience at what is supposed to be a decent steakhouse. In a nutshell, we wasted $50 on a glass of wine, a soda and a to go box with one steak and fries that is going to waste due to 5 hours of travel. Save your $50+ dollars. read more

What a terrible experience. I never complain or write bad reviews but this one is much needed. I don't generally eat at chain restaurants but LongHorn has been my favorite for the longest time, not anymore. I will NEVER be back. Waited for over 30 mins only to see the restaurant pretty empty. That would be ok if the whole place did not smell like dirty rags. The service was ok, but again this entire restaurant smelled horrible. We placed our orders and waited about 35 mins for salads and about 3 mins after that the food arrived. Great timing. The food was ridiculously salty. I mean horrendously. Not just mine but every single meal at our table of 4. The sides were wrong and equally as bad as the steaks, shrimp and chicken. I did not want to complain to the manager but what choice did I have? We had over $100 worth of terrible food in front of us. The manager simply said we were probably sensitive to their special seasoning and they would remake everything plain. Nice. Just how I like it, bland as f***. The manager did come back to apologize and discount the food we did not eat.
