Food is always great. We have had issues with one of the servers, management says they will talk to him but nothing changes

Sit down on a Wed around 4-4:30. Unfortunately the quality of the product (beef) has gone down hill. Order NY Strip Steak & Outlaw Ribeye and both had much grizzle to the point you are reaching in your mouth to remove and put on bread plate. (waitress saw this repeatedly since it was on the outside edge of the table but no reaction from her) . The Outlaw was suspect since it is advertised as bone in yet there was not a bone to be seen thus one would have to question the cut of meat that was actually served. Good luck finding any shrimp or lobster to speak of in the chowder. "Baked" potato was cold in the center. We did not complain since it would have been forever to get replacements and at this point we just sucked it up. I have never had a bad experience here. This location is the best one! The staff is always smiling and welcoming. The food is always top notch and the service is abundant. You do not have to want for anything... except more food even when you're WAY passed full. The desserts are great as well! The service wasn't overbearing with "how are you doing" and "can I get you anything?" It was the perfect amount of everything. We were in and out in a great amount of time. Thank you!! read more

Went during Lunch and before the 12 o'clock rush hit. Our server was friendly and was also the bartender. Her friends came in and sat in the bar area so she did pay a little more attention to them, which is fine, but I felt like we were ignored a bit. My husband's burger was definitely not cooked medium well but he is not one to complain so he just ate it, even though it was almost raw. I had the baked potato and asked for butter and sour cream with the sour cream on the side. But there was so much butter on the potato I could've drank it and then the sea salt was a nice add onto to the top of the potato, but there was so much salt that it hurt my tongue to eat so I did not eat it all. I always forget that the seasoning they put on the steak at Longhorn has a weird flavor to it so I'm not much of a fan of that. I know some people like it since they are pretty popular. my steak was cooked to my liking. We had a $50 gift card and with both of our meals and two sodas we still owed five dollars plus tip, which I feel like is a little pricey, but all in all it wasn't a bad meal. I will not go here unless I have a gift card though because they are much better steak places in the area. read more

A disappointing dinner to say the least. We've visited multiple Longhorns over the years and have never encountered such a cluster of cooking & service issues. The bad: Waited forever to be served, with several people who arrived after us getting their appetizers before we even put in an order. Waited 25 minutes for our salad and soup appetizers, only for them to arrive after the entrees were brought to our table. The steaks were medium well when we ordered medium rare. We didn't address this for fear of waiting even longer for the kitchen to re-fire our orders. It seems that other diners were also having issues, as other tables were being profusely apologized to. The good: Our waitress, Kelly, was kind and very professional, addressing the error in appetizers being bumped swiftly after it was brought to her attention. Offering us a free appetizer or dessert gift certificate should we choose to visit the location again. In summary: It was an underwhelming experience, to say the least, and I doubt we will return to this Longhorn anytime soon. It was not worth the price point to be ignored AND have our food arrive late AND incorrect. read more

I wish I could give this place more than 3 stars, but the last two times I've been there it has been less than average for multiple reasons. Let's start with reservations, not sure how a restaurant can not meet accommodate times that they are the ones to provide availability for- I understand extenuating circumstances and having it happen once were we've had to wait more than 30 min past our given reservation time, but twice now? And the second time was over 30 minutes and they knew we had twins that both needed high chairs and still sat us at a booth in the bar area. We did our best to put both of the high chairs together at the end of the booth but it didn't work since we were at the table directly by the kitchen and staff weren't able to get passed the high chairs and high table to the side of us. At this point we were really hungry and just put the twins each in the booth with both of us. Salad was given with one meal and was remembered to be brought out but unfortunately the other person joining me was forgotten about and never brought their appetizer. We asked about it after our meals were brought out (waitress didn't check back on us after salad was brought to the table until the meals were brought so couldn't address it sooner). Staff seems extremely busy and inpatient with asking for a refill on my drink. The food was good (what we received) but the overall treatment and service, along with seating accommodations and long wait left us feeling disappointed- especially for the costs of the meals. To-go tops didn't fit the container and the waitresses response was "we know, management must have ordered the wrong size-sorry about that, not much I can do, sorry" - appreciate the apology, but what the heck... For spending over $100 it just didn't seem worth it...was hoping for a much better experience. read more

We started going to longhorn years ago. Lately we love dining at the bar. We were fortunate to have Paige, waitress bartender extraordinaire. Even though she was busy, she made us feel welcome, was fun, yet professional. The food is always good, the steaks are cooked exactly as requested. The manager Chris, was washing glasses, it appears everyone helps each other. Chris too was conversational and treated us like guests. Love this place, we will be back!! read more

We went gave our name was told 10-15 minutes. They would send a text. We sat at the bar got a beer. 30 minutes later I went to the hostess and was told oh we tried calling your name and sent a text. I showed her my phone showing I never got a text. They seated us at a table that had the previous guests check ( with cash in it) on the table. 15 minutes later we still had not been approached by any staff and the check was still there. It was nice to have dinner with my son and his girlfriend, even nicer that it was at Longhorn Steakhouse. This was my 2nd visit to this particular restaurant. For a chain, this location does not have the feel or look of the chain. It's clean, the staff is friendly and the food was excellent. A while back, about 10 days ago, some family members decided to meet at the Longhorn in Victor, NY for dinner. We assembled in the parking lot except for one of our people who was running a bit late. So, 8 of the 9 people were ready to go in. We had called ahead to make a reservation and were told by someone on the phone that they were not taking reservations. We went in and one of us went to the sign-in desk to let them know, except for one person, we were there. The reception we received was far less than enthusiastic because 1- we were not all there; 2- a large group was not easily seated and would be difficult to wait on. But we waited anyway. 15 minutes went by and no seating. The restaurant had begun to fill up. We were asked if we would "order immediately and order drinks immediately". We said YES. But were never seated. At that point one of the reception people, the manager in a white outfit, became irritated because we wanted to be seated. She passed a nasty remark over her shoulder while walking away from us and never came back. At that point we were not too pleased with the way we were being treated, We again inquired with another person about being seated. All we got was another nasty attitude, letting us know we were not welcome. We got fed up with the attitude and called the Distillery Restaurant down the street and decided to go there for dinner. As we were leaving Longhorn I asked one of the employees if they cared about losing the business from 9 people spending money for food and drinks. With a really nasty, over the shoulder remark, she said, "we don't care". Will we ever go back to Longhorn for ANY meals? Never!!! read more

Met my friend for lunch yesterday at 1:00 and had a 15 minute wait, not bad, considering there was only 1 waitress and the hostess. Service was a little slow, but again, only 2 of them so no complaints. We both had appetizers which were delicious, and instead of steak we opted for the burger special (we ate too much with the appetizers). Burgers were huge and delicious, neither of us touched our fries, we were full. Bathrooms were clean, parking easy in and out, place was nice, will definitely be back when in the area, if you like steak or burgers, can recommend this place. read more

Our review weighs heavily on our server Amy. After our visit we ended up like this place. I will explane as I set my review.... We arrived and Had to wait for about 10 minutes. Because of Covid 19 restirctions we were asked to wait in our truck. No Bar seating because we were not eating at the bar. Thanks Cuomo! You cost them a lot of money. My husband was ready for a 2nd drink and made me laugh because he was keeping his cool while drink in with loud sip noises trying to get the waitress attention. No luck. Our food came and they had my husbands order wrong. My husband let the server know the prefer was wrong and they took both our plates!! This kinda did not set with me well. Once they figured it out, Amy came up front and said she scewed up and pushed the wrong button. I made it known that I was not waiting for mine to get cold while they cook his! They ended up bring g mine back and it was very good. Perfect! If I would of had to wait they would of had to remake mine or we would of walked out! While we waited for a 2nd round of drinks my husband took this in store, not in normal situations he would of been very up set! As Amy brought the drinks I had to tell her about how he was dying of thurst lol. My husband pointed out how she should not have to bus tables get drinks and wait on tables that remember are spread apart! This is when she explained there is no bar tender that she is doing multiple jobs. Waiting tables. Sitting people. Bussing tables and making drinks! We ended up having a different feeling about the job they were doing. Multiple jobs and I am sure they are not getting compensated. Amy was down to earth, apologetic, good natured, a dog lover and her dad is a firefighter! She felt bad about the mistake and felt like her manager would not be happy but she is multitasking and she hit a wrong button. Yes it was a inconvenience but my husband said the food was fantastic. Amy tried to make it up to us but we told her know cuz she mad our night. Amy insisted I. Giving us cards for free desert. I brought my grandson for a steak dinner. We were seated quickly and our waitress was there to deliver our drinks and take our orders. She have us just the right amount of attention. She didn't hover but our drinks were never lacking either. She was great. I forgot to take pictures of our delicious meals though. He wanted a Porterhouse and I tried the chopped steak. Both medium well. Both cooked and seasoned perfectly. We had started with the free appetizer (had a coupon). We got the Wild West Shrimp which were perfectly cooked. Then we both had the Loaded Potato Soup which is creamy deliciousness! Then I received my huge strawberry pecan side salad which I just packed up for home after sampling it! The strawberry vinaigrette was perfect! My grandsons Porterhouse was huge and had double fries. He said his steak was perfect! My chopped steak came with the roasted Brussels sprouts, my second side, and had a generous amount of sautéed onions and mushrooms in a delicious sauce over the steak. It was delicious also. We both took leftovers home. With our appetizer, soup and their warm bread we knew there would be leftovers! We both enjoy coming here and will be back soon! Yes it is a chain restaurant... a well run one and that. We've been to other restaurants in this chain but they do not compare to the Longhorn in Victor. I would have to say that the reason why we like this Longhorn is that the staff here seems to really care about doing a good job and taking care of their customers. While some folks like table service, we like to eat at the bar since it's usually just the two of us. The Duchess loves the salmon dishes and I have sampled a few different steaks. Always done to perfection, might i add. The clientele here is always interesting, esp. in the bar area. All in all, if you're in the Victor area, this is one of the most pleasant restaurants to grab a bite. read more

I am no fan of chain restaurants for the most part but this Long Horn unit is an exceptional restaurant,. The management at this restaurant does an outstanding job of hiring, training, and retaining their staff. Their daytime bartender/server, Emily, is an outstanding employee who's commitment to service excellence is stellar. The kitchen staff does a fabulous job of executing orders to culinary perfection. The lunch service is quick, high quality, and this a great place to hit if you only have short time for lunch. If you want to hit and run then don't be shy about doing the take out option here. Even the roadrunner might have hard time keeping up with these speedy cats I highly recommended this Long Horn location and I visit it whenever I am in the area. read more

My husband and I love longhorn. We order just about everything because when we go we want the full experience. Their bread is very good and their butter is amazing but the two together compliment each other so perfectly. We love their Wild West shrimp it's spicy enough that it'll satisfy my craving for heat but not enough to make my husband cry. It's so addicting that we can't stop eating it until they're gone. I ordered the sirloin steak and it was good but a little salty. The Mac n cheese was creamy and tasteful that i actually brought it home for leftovers and I don't usually eat leftovers. I generally try to stick to local restaurants but there is a good reason that businesses grow into chains... They do things right. I have been to a fair number of high end steak houses... Dinners running upwards of $75 to 100 per meal. Longhorn provides a meal of similar excellent quality in a nice environment for 1/4 of that price. In fact, I'm usually happier with the Longhorn steak than the 'high-end' purveyors of delicious meat. My friend and I each had a six oz Flo's Filet. Perfectly seasoned, medium rare, tender and delicious. I went with steamed broccoli which was hot but still green and a little crunchy... Just right. My friend had a baked sweet potato and from the look on her face she was more than satisfied. Salads were fresh with a nice selection of house made dressings... And the bread, OMG, the bread was fantastic! The dining area was dimly lit and, while the decorations have a little of that chain restaurant feel, they are appropriate and not overdone. Service is efficient, friendly and professional but much less formal than the expensive restaurants... I'm much more comfortable in the more casual setting BTW. If you are a lover of steak, want to save $50 per meal and still be delighted with the experience give Longhorn a try! read more

We've eaten here multiple times recently. The Sirloin Steak, Rack of Ribs, and Firecracker Wings were all excellent. ( The wings are served seasoned and dry with Buffalo sauce on the side) The wine and beers are reasonably priced with a good selection. The bar always has some good drinks and tonight's selection was on Old Fashioned. While I wasn't happy about the wait the drink made it all better! So I got the new Longhorn app and thought we try there join the line function which tells you how long to wait before you need to be there. Basically "call a head". I called ahead for 6:30 dinner reservation; was told there would be 20-minute wait after I got to restaurant. after getting to the restaurant was again told it woudl be a 20mkioute wait. after waitng 25 minutes asked if I missed having my name called: was told it would be another 15-minute wait. Not a good dining experience this evening in Victor NY. The server Amber referred to both ladies as "Hun" and my husband as" her friend." Not attentive to our needs. Started with French Onion Soup, it was tasty however not piping hot, salad came next, asked for salt and pepper which never arrived until halfway through the meal. Before the main course was brought out the server said sorry no baked potatoes left and had to take mashed potato, however when the entry came out we got baked potato. The steak was not hot, and was sent back. Steak sauce came when the meal was almost finished. I spoke with the managing partner Chris Dehl and said Amber needs major training.
