Our server appeared promptly and was knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. Hubby and I both ended up ordering off their lunch menu. I got the Coconut Shrimp with a bowl of their Potato Soup. I think they make l fried coconut shrimp is one of the best I've ever eaten, because it has a lighter almost tempura like batter. Hubby got their 1/2 lb Burger and Fries. I had a great dinner with my family and our server was wonderful. However at the end of the dinner while my kids were in the restroom I overheard the employees getting 2 large tables together for a couple of large groups. When the server was asking about the groups one of them was described as "the Mexicans". I was taken aback by the carelessness way the employee described the family, when she could've easily said the group of 8 or the group of 9. Being Hispanic myself I was confused. I went here because I got a gift card. My first time coming here and I had a great time. Rony was my bartender and was fantastic. Very attentive but not overly. Has a great repoir. Now onto the food. I got the Alice Springs Chicken and got the bacon on the side. It was delicious. The dipping sauce that comes with it was tasteful. For a side I got a side caesar with the dressing on the side. The caesar dressing was a little spicy surprisingly. Not my favorite dressing but I did still eat it. Then also got the loaded mash potatoes. Next time will get the sour cream on the side. They put it all over the top of the mashed potatoes and it was ok. I would have given a 5 star if the food would have been good all around. The Outback at 6744 NW Loop 820 Fort Worth does not use the walaby darn recipe. They use appricots and not peaches. It does not taste good.

Order was ready well before time allotted. That is despite other rude people parked in the wrong spot. Plus, food was extra delish!

My husband and I went today for a late lunch about 3:30 PM. I ordered the lunch sirloin for 1499.. I got a large delicious salad with it and then the steak came. Whoever delivered it did not wait for me to cut it open. They just dropped it off and left.. our waitress never returned to ask how it was. I cannot eat any of the steak because of all the gristle.. my husband had finished eating his hamburger by the time we finally flagged down someone to tell them I couldn't eat my food. Our waitress sent over the manager, who asked what the problem was, and I told her.. she asked where the gristle was, and I showed her because my steak was all cut up, but not eaten. I told her I thought it had meat glue in it and that's what was causing the gristle.. she of course said oh no we use real meat. Yeah real meat with meat glue. She offered to send me a new stake out. I said sure if it's gonna be better., She went into the kitchen and selected my steak herself. When it came back, it was perfect 100% better than the one before.. funny how this one had zero gristle and zero meat glue. I appreciated her making it right, but it should've never been wrong to begin with.. not sure if I will be returning here. read more

It has been a while since I've been to an Outback Steakhouse, but I was glad to have gone today. The restaurant was clean, the service was good enough, but my bone in ribeye was really good. The baked potato was baked perfectly, but it came with a sparse amount of fixings. However, the server had no problem bringing me more. Their salad was standard, but I really like their house ranch dressing. Always have. Back to that steak. I asked for it to be cooked medium rare, and it was pretty perfect, super tender, juicy, and seasoned perfectly! I also had a glass of Shiraz which paired perfectly with it. My husband tried the Wallaby Darned and enjoyed it. I would've taken half a star for the restaurant having limited inventory, as we were there early, yet they had no prime rib, nor did they have coconut shrimp. The BEST Outback I have ever been to, and I've been to outback's all my life (26yrs). The service was immaculate! Our server name was Dane and had the catch phrase " like the Great Danes" and he honestly lived up to that. Super friendly and attentive to our table, wasn't too clingy or distant. It hurts to write this review, because we have a lot of nostalgia for this location. Back thirty plus years ago, we showed up one evening while they were still training staff , preparing for their grand opening. The manager let us in , and they fed us for free that night as a way to have "real" customers to train staff that evening. Well, yesterday , we finally arrived full circle. We went to lunch at 1:45 and had a truly disappointing experience. The hostess disappeared while finding us a table. We said a big booth would be great and she sat us at a wobbly table. We asked to move and she sat us at another wobbly table. The restaurant was not busy. There were maybe 4 other tables occupied. After that , we were in the black hole of service. After we'd been seated, it took a long time to place a drink order. Two teas and a water ... nothing exotic. They did not show up for quite some time. When they did , a different server brought them over with a loaf of bread from the bar area. Our waitress did not seem interested in us. I had questions about the lunch specials and the pricing. i never got to inquire. Nobody would take our order. We sat there looking at the bread , which we normally enjoy. We'd been seated for twenty minutes at that point. Our waitress had engaged us once. There's too many good restaurants in the area to be ignored. We left. I don't do that except when extremely poor service is on the menu. The hostess merrily thanked us on our way out , as nobody appeared aware that it was odd that we were leaving so soon. We ended up going to a different big - chain restaurant in the area that has good food but very good service. There could have been dingos running through this Outback and none of the employees would have looked up to notice. i normally like to post pics, but if i posted pics from this meal it would be an empty plate. read more

We ordered my granddaughter to go the steak kids meal with a baked potato and it was a nice size portion complete with bread and butter. The only downsize was she only got the option of apple juice or milk. She likes tea and on occasion she gets Sprite she's 10 and a half. This was our first time ordering from them through DoorDash. The bag was delivered stapled closed. I called them and asked if they included bread and butter with delivery orders. They said yes. Well I must say the Chocolate Thunder Down under was very good but the plates presentation did not look like the menu and brownie was not even half the size of of the brownie on the menu. My bread arrived hot and really good. The butter for had already begun to melt. So I ordered the Ribs (1/2 rack). I have come to realize that whatever I had a craven or taste I must order it or I will not feel satisfied. My ribs came out with side of fries. The fries were great especially after dipping them either into BBQ sauce or ketchup. The ribs were ok. The sauce made the ribs. Now, I will say the ribs were very meaty. What an incredible time we had at Outback this evening celebrating my wife's birthday. We normally frequent another Outback location but we were on the other side of town and decided the southwest Fort Worth location was a perfect fit. It was a Wednesday evening so they were not too busy. We were greeted by the host warmingly and seated right away. Our server was cordial and asked if we had any questions about the menu. We explained we were Outback regulars and pretty much knew what we wanted. My wife ordered the Victoria's Filet with baked potato and salad and I did the same but my filet was topped with a garlic shrimp mixture. Wine and bread were delivered to our table after a short wait. After enjoying Outback's delicious brown bread, our salads were brought to our table. I am a HUGE fan of Outback's chopped salad, it is so delicious. Our salad greens were cold and crisp served in chilled bowls. Now on to our entrees. Both of our steaks were cooked and seasoned to perfection. We enjoyed an incredible celebratory meal. Paul, the manager stopped by for a chat and even pulled up a chair when I invited him to sit down. He was a great guy and loved hearing our feedback about our visit. Since it was my wife's birthday, we were offered a free dessert. We opted for the cookie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. OMG, it was delicious. He just had a vibe about him where you knew he takes pride in his work. He provided my wife and I such great service, we literally had a 10 minute conversation about how awesome he was as we made our way home! To put it perfectly, he understands the concept of being a server, and knows exactly how to serve on top of that. When we come back, best believe we're sitting with Dane again! P.S. my wife pointed out he was very "clean/put together" which I also noticed on the jump, more than likely adding to the notion he takes pride in what he does because at the end of the day, he does it very well. What started out as not so great, the night ended up being awesome. We were able to get seated right away and we were surprised because it was a Friday night. We waited quite a while tho, 10+ minutes for us just to get a waiter. At the time It seems that they were more focused on setting a table, 4 employees it took to refill condiments and to move two tables and chairs for a party of 7(?) while stopping and chatting every few seconds instead of getting a drink order for a party of 4. Anyway, Brooklyn, our server came to the rescue. She took our drink order and everything was great from there. It was our daughters birthday and she ended up finding a candle to wish her a Happy Birthday with her dessert. The food was good. We weren't even from the area but we are glad we stopped by. We've been regular diners here since they opened, about six times a year. My wife had to work, so tonight was a solo visit. I had the 15 ounce ribeye, medium with garlic butter and a lobster tail, baked potato and salad. The salad came first with a vinaigrette on the side. Next came the perfectly cooked steak, lobster tail and baked potato. Everything was very good. I had enough left to take home for another meal. Jessica did a good job as my server.
