We went to this Longhorn steakhouse. Wow not a great experience. The server named Jamari was rude. The manager was clueless. Baked potato was hard twice. They brought us one still hard steaks very tough, Big vein running through the middle of both steaks manager Did not care he was clueless , burger ordered medium well came out rare Table touching by the management does not happen unless there is a complaint. I've managed many restaurants. This one needs some coaching and help remember word-of-mouth is the best form of advertising. I do not recommend this restaurant. read more

I know it's a chain restaurant, but that's okay with me because the service was great, the food was fantastic, I had the best spinach and artichoke dip I've ever had in my life, it was not loud like Texas Roadhouse. The salad was fresh and good. And the dessert was great. They were even able to hold the pecans on my Carmel cheesecake. The restaurant kept the drinks filled and everything is perfect. I'll be coming back for my birthday in two weeks! My favorite steak restaurant used to be Texas, longhorn has now replaced Texas for me. Can't wait to come back! read more

The food was delicious. The service is another thing. The waitress was good but she could only work with what she was given. We had a 5 o'clock reservation for 6 people. We waited a few minutes and then we were seated. After a few minutes they took our drink order and bothe bread and butter. They only had one set of silverware (it was 5 o'clock) They told use they were rolling it and they would bring it out as soon as they had more. So the six of us used the one knife we had to cut and butter the bread. 3 dinners came out and we all got napkins and silverware. Then the other 3 dinners came out. After dinner we ordered dessert. My husband asked for a cup of coffee. They were out of regular coffee they only had de Cafe. Whst large chain restaurant runs out of coffee. The used dishes were not removed. We had to pile the dishes so we had room for our dessert plates. Some of the dinner plates were removed but not all. The good was good but we won't be back. Not a pleasant dinner. read more

Longhorn is a great addition and has a convenient location in Zephyrhills. There's plenty of parking and it's not too far from different shopping plazas so you can eat before or after you run errands. The food is really good especially their loaded bake potato and spicy chicken bites. I recommend eating in because I wasn't too pleased with the curbside service or packaging. Inside the restaurant is very cozy and they have some local decor from Zephyrhills High School. Overall I recommend. Perfect for families or date nights. read more

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at the Longhorn restaurant located at 3392 US Highway 98 in Lakeland, Florida on May 18. Although we were seated promptly, which I appreciated given the number of people waiting, it took approximately 10 to 12 minutes for our waiter, Sean, to take our order after we were seated. Sean introduced himself and took our drink orders, returning with the beverages before taking our food orders. Unfortunately, when our orders arrived, I discovered that my salmon was burnt and overcooked, despite having ordered this dish plenty of times before. The broccoli, which I had requested to be well done, was cooked correctly. I brought this issue to the attention of the manager, Marc, who took my food back to be prepared again. However, I had to wait additional time for my food to be prepared, and when it arrived, Marc did not follow up to ensure everything was satisfactory. Furthermore, my broccoli arrived separately and was not cooked correctly. At this point, I was dissatisfied with the service and the quality of the food. When Sean finally checked in on us, it was after attending to other tables, and he did not return to ensure that our food was satisfactory. The service I received was the worst I have experienced at Longhorn, a restaurant I have previously enjoyed dining at. Marc later apologized and explained that the cook was new, and that he had talked to him and offered him coaching of showing him the proper way to cook the salmon then I was given a offering of 25% discount on my bill. While I appreciated the gesture, I felt that the management's response was insufficient, and I believe that they need to work on providing better customer service. read more

Last night we called ahead on the App requesting a table for 4. When I checked in upon arrival the hostess informed me it's a 20 mins wait. We waited over an hour and saw many customers who arrived after us get seated. We asked a few times and were told we are cleaning your table, then we can't find chairs. Suddenly it dawned on us it must be the wheelchair. Yes that was it. The three hostesses at the counter did not phantom that my mom in the chair would be moved to a seat for dinner. They kept skipping us because only booths were available. When we complained we were then seated immediately at a booth. Mom was taken out of wheel chair and seated. The transport chair closes and compacts. I'm very upset that not once did they ask if we absolutely needed a table instead of booth. Apparently this restaurant is not handicap trained on how to treat customers in wheelchairs. Only reason I gave two stars was the waitress Jill was awesome. She earned 5 stars and averaged out zero and 5 is 2.5. After ordeal we had lost our appetite, only ordered soup and salad. So sad. read more

Great! We went for the grand opening last night. Of course with it being the first official night we expected it to be a wait and we also expected a few mistakes. The wait was correct, about an hour. But no mistakes at all. The restaurant has its own parking lot, it is set up like every other Longhorn you've been to, but maybe a little more spacious. Our server Jasmine was fantastic! Everyone working there had a great attitude. I ordered the steak and shrimp combo, my husband ordered his usual, the ribeye outlaw, and the kids ordered steak and chicken fingers. Everything was cooked correctly, hot, and delicious. Refills were flowing without needing to ask. Great service and we are excited to have another Longhorn close! read more

Although this wasn't my first time at LongHorn Steakhouse, it was my first visit to this location--and it might just be my best experience yet! First, let me start by saying the Parmesan-crusted spinach dip (which I tried for the first time) was hands down the best spinach dip I've ever had! Then came another first for me--the half rack of ribs--and they did not disappoint. So tender and flavorful! My mom ordered the lunch cheeseburger, and it was huge but held together perfectly--major win! To top it all off, I had a scoop of ice cream, and for some reason, it was way better than I expected. Why was it that good? Lol. Our server, Isabel, was amazing--friendly, patient, and super knowledgeable about the menu. My mom asked a million questions about the lunch specials (even though we've been to LongHorn before), and Isabel answered them all with a smile. First, Amanda the waitress was awesome in all respects. We were there early evening and got seated promptly. Steaks were so-so. My wife said I do much better which earned her a bunch of points. Her's was over done and mine was very thin and full of gristle. Salad was OK. Baked potato was perfect. The worst part of the meal was the steak knife. This will have been my 3rd lunch visit and 1 dinner with a party of 4. I'm only reviewing today's visit I was pleasantly met by host and seated this was at 1:30pm and he told me who my server would be and gave me a menu and the server dropped off silverware & napkin asked me my drink preference and returned with that and bread and I told her I needed a little more time. Once I decided to stay with my standby parmesan crusted chicken I ordered the lunch size and a loaded baked potato and upgraded to a Caesar salad for $1.49 while enjoying a piece of bread my salad came - hand chopped was questionable the large pieces and I finished the job. My meal came and I once again received a leftover baked potato- the loaded part was melted but the potato itself was cold. I moved onto the chicken which was very hot as was the plate. Today's chicken was either cooked next to a steak or they used steak seasoning but I like steak so I got the best of both worlds. Once the check was brought I asked for containers to bring home the remainder. For supper I finished the salad and bread and heated up the baked potato and I cut it wide open to heat quicker and no doubt it was either leftover or they started baking them at 5am. My next visit will need to be mashed or soup something else. Now the server did ask me how things were several times but I don't return food to a kitchen I'm sure she would have replaced it. The good thing is the prices are high enough to where winter people won't be cluttering up the dining room and running servers to death and leave a $1 tip. We came to this restaurant a few days back to relax and enjoy a good dinner. We left worse than how we walked in. Our waiter, Staci O, was not a friendly waitress. She brought my salad with no dressing on the side. She barely offered us 2nd drinks. She brought my husband a coke and asked me at the end of the meal if I wanted another beer. She had a dispute going with the hostess about having too many tables and she stood in the middle of the place bad talking the people that would clean the tables with another waitress. She spent more time complaining than providing service. And this is not a cheap restaurant, I would think customers should get better service. read more

We went to the Zephyrlhills location on our 53rd Anniversary. I ordered a Filet. It was terrible. Couldn't cut it, certainly could not eat it. Waitress only came back to give us our check. I asked to talk to the Manager. She took my Credit Card and came back with my receipt. Again I asked to talk to the Manager, again she politely said certainly and walked away. We sat there for over 15 minutes and the Manager never came to our table, so we left. We frequented the Longhorn in Portsmouth NH when we lived in NH. and never had a problem with the service it the steaks. I can understand that occasionally you are served a bad steak, but to be ignored by Management is uncalled for and Terrible Customer Service. This was our first, and last, visit to Longhorn Zephyrhills and probably any Longhorn. What supposed to be a wonder's 53 rd Anniversary turned into a extremely bad experience. I ordered a 6oz filet medium well with rice pilaf. The meal was dropped off with an "enjoy", no time to order my steak sauce. My steak was only about one half inch in height. Nothing like any filet I had ever had before. By the time the waitress came back to check on us I had discovered the rice was barely warm as was the steak.
