One particular service advisor has the worst communication skills and it tainted my experience w longo lexus. I was the one who always had to follow up on the status of my car. If I didn't call, a whole day would have gone by without me hearing anything from lexus. At one point I called and no one could even find my car nor could they get ahold of my service advisor because he had conveniently left for the day without calling me with any type of update. Besides communication their attitude is pretty terrible. When I got my spoiler changed out the service advisor told me the part would be in on Tuesday and so would he. Maybe it's my fault for not asking what time but when I showed up at 9 am he was not there and another service advisor helped check in my car. I was hoping this would be my opportunity to meet a nicer more helpful advisor that maybe I could stick with for future appointments but instead I was greeted by a man who seemed so rushed as though I was a bother and was so short in response. He literally told me he wouldn't do anything for me but check the car in and email my primary service advisor. I laughed in my head because my primary service advisor is so terrible at communications he probably has emails in there from 2005. The rude rushed man told me my primary advisor would be there by 0930 but what a surprise when it came to be 1130 am and no call or text from him. I reached out and surprisingly got a response. Who knows when I would have found anything out if i didn't text him. One time I figured he was probably even dodging my calls because 5 min after one of my calls he didn't answer I got a butt dial back from him. For a solid minute I heard static and him talking in the distance and I guess he realized it cause he put the phone to his ear to talk and said "oh um hi this is_______ of longo lexus how may I help you" and I told him he's the one who called me.... To which he replied "oh you're right I did yes I meant to call you" Bull.shit. Anyways. Yesterday After the trouble of figuring out myself what was happening w my car, (I came in to swap out a spoiler) I came back later and service adviser handed me back the previous spoiler, but screws and a hinge on the inside of the spoiler were missing. We asked him if he could ask the people who installed it if they accidentally dropped it somewhere when it (obviously) just got snapped off. He came back with an unsympathetic casual and cold "sorry they couldn't find it". I was obviously upset and he simply said "yeah......." And turns around and walked away. He didn't care I was upset instead he decided he was done w me and left. I'll never come back to this lexus dealership. After this experience it's worth the drive to go all the way to Glendale for my lexus service. The two stars are simply for Eric in the sales department who helped me buy the car in the first place and Peter (?) in finance who explained everything to me so well. They seemed to actually have patience and care about my business. This probably has a bunch of typos but whatever this place suck so my grammar will also ‍‍‍ UPDATE in response to comments: Every time i talked to my service consultant it was after HOURS of waiting in silence or calling other people there who helped track him down for me. Why is the customer the one that has to work so hard to find out what's going on? The service advisor never mentioned the possibility of clips breaking, only that it is non returnable d/t the adhesive used. I said thats fine i can try to sell it myself but now its less likely since screws ans clips are missing. In reflecting on the events, I realize this review is NOT about lexus but instead about Michael and is poor customer service skills. Every one else from the people at sales to a different Michael who works at he body shop to the guy who helped me w the loaner car were all responsive and proactive. this review on yelp was even replied to faster than Michael. You state the facts of what happened (which honestly sound a little lacking in detail) without acknowledging how painstaking the process was for the customer. You dont acknowkedge the difficulties and lack of communication by your employee and you fail to mention how this kind of thing will never happen again for any other customer. Eventually I got the services I needed from the dealership but I guess he expects you to wait in silence for hours and even business days during the process I was reached out to by the person who sold the car to me and felt that my business was appreciated. If I come back for service here it will be with caution but with faith in the fact that Eric told me the experience would be better. read more

I was there about months ago. I just returned my Infiniti week before. My wife want to tryouts Lexus Nx300. That was Saturday afternoon we I came with my wife and kids. The Chinese salesman was helping us. It's took him 30 minutes to check our records or credit and finally take us to down basement to car. There's 4 cars to choose from. I didn't like the way salesman attitude and talk but since we saw the car we likes. So i told him we will take it. When we back to the office to do signing. I ask him the internet national offer then he told us they have those cars on stocks. I just saw those on the basement. He said they don't have those anymore. I ask for manager then another Chinese salesman claim he is sale manager. I told him what happened he told me thats how they doing business here. Oh I was very mad shamed be like Chinese who I am. I was speechless with my kids. I wish i could write Chinese in app. So let all Chinese and Korean stay away from such crooked dealers. I don't care they call them self biggest dealer in Ca. This review is specific to their parts department and Gabriel especially. I have two Lexus dealerships within 10 min of me in San Diego. I called both trying to order a part for my Lexus GX. Both said the part was on back order and wouldn't come in until the end of August at best. I go online and find the same part at Longo and it is discounted. I make the order online and Gabriel called me right away and told me the part was-in fact-on back order but that he would do everything possible to get it to me within a week. Sure enough, 4 days later he calls and said the part arrived and he would get it to me right away. I woke up the next morning with it on my doorstep. Just fantastic service all around. read more

I bought a brake actuator for my GS460 from Longo auto parts. At first I was apprehensive to buy because this part was very expensive. After talking to Chris I took the plunge. Well the part was ordered and I received a email stating a tracking# had been created. After a day or two I noticed no movement through the tracking number on this parcel and did I get nervous. I called and spoke with someone other than Chris, who was off that day, that the package was picked up by the post office mail carrier. Not true. Called the next day and got Chris. Explained to him what happened and immediately he started a investigation. Within 20 minutes he notified me that he located the package and took it to the Post Office himself. I was so relieved. Within days I received the package. Also he refunded my money for expedited services. If I could, I would give Chris 10 stars. Very rare that you find this type of excellent service. So I purchased a car here on Sunday May 7, 2017. Our sales rep Jack had great customer service, very nice and friendly. We test drove our first car which was a GS-350 Sport with about 22K Miles, then we drove exact same car had about 50K miles. The car felt a little funny shaking, it was raining so Jack said due to rain it wasn't a smooth ride. Tires looked a little wasted and they said they would only change 2 front tires. He said to take car next day and they would take care of us right away since the service dept was already closed. My Husband went on Monday 05/08/17 and he had to wait there more than 4 hours to get tire changed. Car still didn't feel right. While he was still there, one of the front tires went FLAT. So service dept was already closed by this time, so know we had to get a loaner car which was good they at least provided that, they needed to keep the car to do more inspections, which they should of done that before we purchased the car when they have a car for sale in the lot should be fully inspected and it wasn't. Now comes out the the rim was no good so they had to replace the rim completely. I asked if they would fill up my gas tank as a courtesy since I had to drive 4X to dealer something that wasn't my FAULT they said NO. I'm not around the corner I'm about 42 Miles each way. Unhappy that we had to drive back and fourth 4X, and they had my husband waiting there 4 hours just to change a tire, and they wouldn't replace all 4 tires. And I asked if they would fill up the gas tank as a courtesy since we had to be driving back to the dealer and the said NO. Poor service, in the service dept. Later , they told me they found a glass stick in the tire and ask me to replace the tire due to cannot patch for 270$. My 2007 IS250 instrument cluster needles are burned out. I think this is common problem for IS250. I took it in and Man Wong help me set up the paper works for the Lexus Goodwill assistance. Man explain to me the process and gave me loaner car. Big Thanks to Lexus for approve me for the Goodwill assistance and Longo Lexus for repair my IS250. The second time I went in is because my parking brake warning light is not working on the new instrument cluster. This time is Edward Duran help me and he also told me they have the new airbag and new dashboard for the recall on my IS250. I'm very happy for the services from the Longo Lexus. My next car will be Lexus and I will buy it from Longo Lexus. The only small negative I can think about is I have to wait almost 15 minutes to pick up my car. There are at least three employees standing next to a pretty lady with a modified IS250. They just standing there and talking. Meanwhile there are at least 10 cars waiting in line. If the employees are busy then I don't mind the wait but they just standing there talking. read more
