I submitted my estimate that I received from an Auto Body shop and they said they don't want to fix my car, for that price (around $3,000) but offered me $1000. They said the price is too high... I told them Tesla told me to take it to a Tesla Certified Auto Body shop, and that is what I did, the closest to my house... I told them I will take it to another shop, but that's all I can do because I've already taken the car to Tesla and a Tesla Certified body shop and they told me the price is too high and they would only offer me $1,000. 1K will not fix my car. That's an insult. I'm not an auto body guy, but when they dropped my car off the flatbed, both my side fenders broke, my undercarriage parts are broken, my front bumper does NOT align with my fenders and headlamps anymore... I'm sure there's internal pieces broken because it is LOOSE AND I CAN HEAR IT... As of now, my car is still damaged. It seems like they DON'T WANT TO USE INSURANCE and THEY ARE LOW BALLING ME... I don't understand it, but THEY ARE NOT RIGHT how they are handling this... $1000, is NOT GOING TO FIX MY CAR. Code 22658 Section (e) (1) (2) states the person causing the removal of a vehicle parked on that property is liable for double the storage or towing charges whenever there has been a failure to comply with proper signage and is subject to a fine of $1,000. If your vehicle was illegally towed this weekend from Farmer's Market in HB, please contact me to join the lawsuit. Would give 5 stars for DTS staff customer service but had to knock it to 3 because they should have been more responsible in confirming signage that it was a good tow.
