With my love for adrenaline-driven adventures, I can say I have a brave soul. And yet, I am a total wuss when it comes to dentists and I would come up with all kinds of excuses to avoid that anesthesia injection. But Dr. Marin's professional but friendly demeanor can put the most anxious patient at ease. The rapport he has with his patients is what sets him apart from all the other dentists I have seen. He takes the time to explain things and he is never in a rush to get to the next patient. Today, I finally came for my filling and as expected, I was asking for the numbing gel before I even sat on the chair. But Dr. Marin's hands are so light I didn't even flinch from that dreaded numbing injection I managed to avoid for months. He's also great with kids! And when you're a parent with a scared child, that can make all the difference. I also would be remiss if I don't acknowledge Dr. Marin great team. With his support and the help of his staff, I was referred to a specialist and was able to be seen and treated the same day. wow, i am amazed by the quality of care and the softness of the staff. every team member i spoke to…read morewas very kind, professional, and helpful. they are also well staffed so wait times are short. this was my first visit and i was very grateful at how the providers listened and built a great treatment plan with me. my previous dentists were not as willing to work with me on a treatment plan. in the past, i had been concerned about my receding gum line. my most recent dentist, another private practice, had nothing to say. i got a second opinion and he said there was no concern, that my teeth were growing and elongating. well, fast forward to my visit at west covina dental, Dr Abu took a look at my x-rays and did advise there was a bit of bone and gum loss. finally, i don't feel crazy! it was wonderful to be taken seriously and have treatment to prevent further loss. periodontal services can cost a bit so if i can prevent it further, i will. my hygienist Maria Bonilla made sure the procedure was comfortable and enjoyable. she was a master with the tools and i seriously have never had cleaner teeth. i have quite a few follow ups and i am looking forward to having them as my dentist. shoutout to my dentist Dr Abu, my hygienist Maria Bonilla, Jasmine for finance and Angel for finance and front desk. everyone was awesome!!

This office is busy and everyone in the office is super personable. Nordstrom style customer service, even the doctor makes time for his patients. After surgery, they give you a number you can text 24/7. And let me tell you, your text gets replied back ASAP. My chicken of a bf needed stronger meds and the doctor was able to call it in. Also, you are able to get your meds then and there without having to go to a pharmacy, which we appreciated. It will cost you more but it was more convenient for us.

I called the office and spoke with Yvonne, who was able to get him in right away to have his tooth checked. Dr. Liang was able to squeeze him in later that afternoon to perform the root canal. Dr. Liang was very professional and incredibly gentle. My husband came out of the appointment completely pain-free. A few months later, I needed to have a root canal myself. Of course, I went to see Dr. Liang. I'm very nervous when it comes to dental procedures and pain, but Dr. Liang reassured me that everything would be okay.
