I've been to Loree's in Rocklin 3 times. The first time was great, the second time was okay, but the third time was definitely the last. I'm unsure as to why there is only one bartender/waitress and one cook running the whole place, especially when it gets really busy. I had a party of 6 with me and we showed up at 1:45 pm on a Monday. When we asked the lady working the bar where we could sit, she said "You can sit anywhere". As we turned around to grab a table she said "get out of my way" while using her hands to make a shoo-ing movement. The place was busy, but her rudeness was unnecessary. We sat down and waited 20 minutes before the bartender/waitress came over to take our drink order. We had to ask for food menus since she didn't bring any with her. Getting those took another 30 minutes. I saw that the table next to us order and received their food within 25 minutes. The bartender/waitress came back to our table 20 minutes after bringing the menus. When we asked about the lobster tacos, she said "The table next to you ordered the last of the lobster. You wouldn't like them anyway. The lobster is frozen." A person in our party asked if she could get the fried avocado appetizer and the waitress/bartender pointed to the table next to us and said they ordered the last of it. We then just proceeded to order a few burgers and tacos. During this time, the waitress/bartender came back to our table twice to refill a couple of waters, but didn't ask about any drink refills. Fifty-five minutes went by. I was about to ask about our food order when the waitress/bartender came by to deliver food to a couple of tables that came in after us. She briefly stopped by and said, he's getting your food started now. Seriously!?!? We ordered over 55 minutes ago, people that came in after us were being served food, and he hadn't even started our food yet!? By this time we were starving, the bartender/waitresses attitude was crap, and we were done. We left money on the table for the drinks and started walking out. The bartender/waitress saw us walking out and panicked. She said "you better have left money for the drinks" and used the menus in her hands to smack herself in the forehead. WOW. Just wow. She didn't try to get our food prepared sooner or be nice or anything. I used to tell people about the tacos here and encourage them to try it out. Never again. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I will not be coming back here. It's truly too bad that they can't afford to have more people working and it's too bad that they hire service staff with less than zero people skills (rude, condescending, possibly on drugs). The Onyx club and the Owl club in Roseville are nearby and the experience is 100% better. Save your time and money and go somewhere that deserves your business. read more

I've been going to this place for a few years now on Tuesdays as a regular event with a small circle of friends. We do that, because it's a fantastic place to meet, the food is excellent, and the choice of tequilas is fantastic. This place is a 4 Star Fun place to go, But they are so popular they're equally understaffed. My last visit there on Tuesday was an experience that was quite disappointing, in terms of service. This is not the fault of the server, but the fault of the managements decision not to add to the wait staff. Will I go back? Yes I will ! This is my local favorite. I try and go in when Jacqueline is working because she is amazing. She is so attentive and knows what we drink when we walk in. She also remembers our orders. This is a great place to go if you want amazing food and the down home local feel. The home made chips and salsa are soooo good. If I could leave a 0 stars I would!!!!!! Immediately when we first walked in on january 18th (a saturday) we went to the bar and a man who was on the older side was absolutely rude as f***. We asked him if we could have a green tea shooter and he told us "i've been bartending for 40 years and I have never heard of that" So we then asked for a vodka soda and a marg and asked what the house well was and he said "look at the fucking wall, once you figure out what you want let me know" with annoyance and walked away. We were absolutely stunned and confused how he could be annoyed with us as we just walked in. My friends and I immediately got our 1 round of drinks and left. We were ready to spend lots of money and we immediately left and went up the road to a super nice and friendly bar where we tipped over 25%. A little tip of advice, you guys might want to review your staff and get some people that actually want to be there!!! read more

EVERYTIME. Without FAIL, tacos are on point. We order take out about 3 times a month. Each order- perfect. Firebox beans are--I can't put my finger on it. GRUB??!! Nothing much has changed inside-since my first visit in the early 90's. Eclectic mix of older, younger, regulars, and newbies. 1st time coming here for a quick stop to eat, I was recommended their burger & it did not disappoint! It was so good & perfectly cooked probably the best burger I've had. The staff was more than welcoming & kind I loved everything about this place I'm saddened that it's so far away from home & that we couldn't stay longer to enjoy this place to its fullest! it's a place I would love to come to often if I lived out here. My family and I decided to spend Labor Day at a bar that I had previously had good experiences with. I understand that it being a holiday there would be more business than normal and there was only one person working the kitchen and one person working the bar and bussing tables. The blonde woman working outside the kitchen had a very disrespectful attitude and told us to move out of her way when we were trying to seat ourselves with a large group. She then forgot to ask my mother what she would like to drink after asking everyone else at the table. She then explained there tacos were out of lobster and said "they aren't good anyway, they're frozen" with more attitude. By The time she took our food order it had already been over 45 minutes and she proceeded to serve people that came in after our group. We left money for a total of three drinks on the table and needed to leave after waiting for over an hour and 15 minutes to get my diabetic brother food because he was in a low. While we left she began panicking and smacking her face with several menus. It was overall the most embarrassing experience here and I will never bring my family here or bother coming myself ever again. I would highly recommend that you NEVER EVER come here! read more

Been coming here for a decade and have always loved this place. My family's go to for their tacos and beans. However, the larger bald bartender with the glasses has killed that love. He is rude and clearly does not like what he does. Two buddies and I just sat for an hour waiting to put an order in. I asked if we could and he flat out said "Not right now" but didn't even look at me when he said it! Had his back turned inferring he clearly didn't care to serve his costumers! I finally tried this place after driving by several times. It was Saturday night and we were in the mood for a cool dive bar and some tacos. It was dead inside, only 4 other people. Now I know why... It smells like dirty socks inside. The bar tender is a total jerk!! I got serious bad vibes from him. The tacos were below average..dry chicken, maybe one teaspoon of meat. The beans were good....and that's all that was good. The coleslaw was just overloaded mayo and sweet relish. The catfish was dry and no flavor. The fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil. Quiet on a Saturday afternoon just after 12:00pm. Even the bartender made comment that it was a slow day. I hadn't been to Loree's Little Shack (by the railroad track) in quite a few years. The last time I was here, I left at closing :-) I stopped in for lunch (frankly, I didn't even know they did food, never occurred to me) - took a seat at the bar. Glanced around some and things haven't changed to much - seemed very familiar. This is by no means a fancy place. It's a good ole local road side bar and eats dive. I suspect the Friday and Saturday night crowd is hopping, as it was on my last visit. There are bills (money) plastered on the walls with people names, greetings, hommage, etc. Unexpected knacks and items placed about or hanging from the ceiling. A pair of (large) 49er panties hang stretched just above the Fireball. Two pool tables, a large area with tables (tall tops and short tops) and a front patio area where beverages are allowed. Bottles line the back bar and to one side, an extraordinary collection of Tequilla! For lunch, I opted for a regular hamburger and onion rings. Other options were sandwiches, burger specialties, some salads (I think), and some appetizer items .. the grilled avocado stuffed with sour cream and topped with cheese served with tortilla chips was tempting. They boast to have the best taco's. The burger was actually pretty good as were the onion rings. My beer and lunch whopped out at $12; not too bad. The memory of a few nights here flooded back and I need to come back to experience this night life again, a few (many) years later. read more

Alright for a dive bar during the day. The bartenders on some of the popular nights are just rude and inept. Must be relatives of the owner or something, because the service used to be better. Bathrooms are pretty scary. Much better places around in Rocklin. I would rate the day staff much higher, but in all 2 stars is as high as I would go with 1 star being an option for the evening scene. read more

My friends and i love Lorees; it's usually not too crowded so when we sing karaoke, we all get to sing multiple times and we LOVE karaoke so this is perfect. Plus, the staff are all very friendly and engaging. however, some of the men that frequent this bar are creepy and gross. I went with a large group of women last night and it felt like creepers were everywhere, either following us or circling other, drunker women. There was a woman there who seemed borderline blackout drunk being followed by some creepy men so we helped get her in an uber and sent her home as best we could; once she left the bartender thanked us for helping out. I don't remember exactly what she said, but whatever she said made it seem as though this bartender, and likely the female Lorees staff at large, had seen some sh*t. anyway the staff can't control who attends this bar, it's a great place! but stay safe :) read more
