    Best tacos ever!

Simply the best tacos over! Bring patience during shift changes. :) But no doubt I will gladly return.

Listen, this is the exact reason why people say "don't judge a book by its cover" - when you walk in it looks like a dive bar but I promise you the food and service was awesome! TACOS! TACOS! TACOS! We found this gem on the way home from Reno, we never eat mainstream or chains if we can help it, I read the reviews for this place and we decided to stop. It's a Sunday evening and there were a few locals, but it was all about the tacos! Kids are welcomed! We had our 2 kids with us and they had the lobster tacos and the ribeye. They both said it was delicious! Great place to stop if you want good food at a great price!! Totally affordable for a family of 4!

Cool local bar with a down to earth, old town Rocklin feeling. People are chill and the vibe is super casual. Good burger and an ice cold beer hit the spot!

It's a dive bar with karaoke every night. The food is decent and the drinks are reasonably priced, what more can you want?

The tacos are second to none in the area, and the Firebox beans are as unique as they are absolutely tasty.

Honestly, we would have stayed if we weren't hungry. Be aware, it is a small venue. Be prepared to perhaps stand if no seats or tables are available. We happen to get lucky and managed to snag a 2 seater tall table. It's a dark setting, very intimate. You do need the password of the day to get in. Follow them in IG for the daily password. The entrance is located off an alley. No signs, just a door. I love that speakeasy's are making a slow comeback and this one is exceptional.

The room is small but surprisingly fit two large groups and a few couples. There's a bar plus a few tables and couches. The bartenders are very focused and work hard at their craft. Each cocktail is carefully made to perfection. The list of drinks ranges from light fruity to spirit-forward depending on your taste. We enjoyed: - pomegranate martini: light and fruity, good pomegranate flavor - yuzu lime drop: seasonal for summer only! - the First Lady: strong but smooth; came with a nicely cut ice cube - whiskey sour: classic flavor, executed well The drinks were great but I really wish there was some sort of snack to munch on. Even peanuts or mixed nuts would have been welcome. Adding a small food menu of bar snacks would make me stay longer!

I have to say I was impressed !!! So they don't have a menu but they have very good liquor at the bar. They had one of my favorite beers from revision which is called Reno as F .. They have Pool tables and a music player where u can pay for the songs you want . I like the music people were selecting my group of friends even danced and sang to most of them . This establishment was pretty clean and organized the restrooms are nice and clean lol . Sorry but it matters . It was a good crowd of people . The bartenders were all very friendly. This place gets pretty packed and the music is loud. I have to say that is what I like about it . Fun fact this is one of the oldest bar in Placer County. Family owned for more then 100 years . Overall we had a blast here last night . I loved the music and the vibe . Prices are super reasonable . I had a great time with a lot of my friends . I would definitely come back for some more fun in the future. Large bar, pool table, lots of TVs, patio area. The bartender was very friendly and attentive. I guess the biggest complaint I've seen was they charge $5.50 fee if you use a credit card. If that bothers you then bring cash. Good crowd and atmosphere for the football game I was there to watch. Wasn't much of a dive at all. Great bar. I will be back.

I was tasked with finding a location in the Rocklin area to host a memorial gathering. Since I…read moredon't live nearby, I turned to Yelp and started calling places close to the mortuary where our family would be gathering. Pain Killers was the third place on my list. My first call went unanswered, and there wasn't an answering service. On my second call, I was able to leave a voicemail. When I called Pain Killers, a kind woman answered within two rings. I explained that I was looking for a venue to host a memorial gathering. She let me know that the person who could best assist me wasn't available but offered to take my number and have them return my call. Within 30 minutes, Austin called me back. We discussed what we were looking for, and as you can imagine, it's not an easy conversation to have with someone you've never met. From the very beginning, Austin's kindness and compassion stood out. His exact words were, "We want to be here for you during this difficult time." Those weren't just words--I could genuinely feel his sincerity, not only during that phone call but in every text message we exchanged over the following week. Each time I reached out, I'd say, "Ok, Austin, last question," only to think of another one shortly afterward. No matter how many times I contacted him, he remained patient, understanding, and accommodating. He answered every question, responded promptly, and never once made me feel like I was asking too much. In the end, it was decided to keep the entire day's gathering at a church rather than the mortuary, so we didn't end up going to Pain Killers. Even so, I wanted to recognize Austin for the exceptional level of customer service and genuine compassion he showed during one of the most difficult times. The next time I'm in the Rocklin area, I plan to stop by, say hello to Austin, and make sure to give Pain Killers some well-deserved business. Thank you, Austin, for reminding me that kindness and empathy still go a long way.
