My first call went unanswered, and there wasn't an answering service. On my second call, I was able to leave a voicemail. When I called Pain Killers, a kind woman answered within two rings. I explained that I was looking for a venue to host a memorial gathering. She let me know that the person who could best assist me wasn't available but offered to take my number and have them return my call. Within 30 minutes, Austin called me back. We discussed what we were looking for, and as you can imagine, it's not an easy conversation to have with someone you've never met. From the very beginning, Austin's kindness and compassion stood out. His exact words were, "We want to be here for you during this difficult time." Those weren't just words--I could genuinely feel his sincerity, not only during that phone call but in every text message we exchanged over the following week. Each time I reached out, I'd say, "Ok, Austin, last question," only to think of another one shortly afterward. No matter how many times I contacted him, he remained patient, understanding, and accommodating. He answered every question, responded promptly, and never once made me feel like I was asking too much. In the end, it was decided to keep the entire day's gathering at a church rather than the mortuary, so we didn't end up going to Pain Killers. Even so, I wanted to recognize Austin for the exceptional level of customer service and genuine compassion he showed during one of the most difficult times. The next time I'm in the Rocklin area, I plan to stop by, say hello to Austin, and make sure to give Pain Killers some well-deserved business. Thank you, Austin, for reminding me that kindness and empathy still go a long way.

The first time I came here was because a local band was playing here that I discovered elsewhere.... I invited a friend and we ordered several items off of the menu and we were all impressed....I was especially amazed by the tritip sandos. The last time we came (about a month ago) we noticed the food quality went down a little but, but was still good enough... Then today....man....wtf is happening? Look at the amount of meat in the sandwich....also look at the beer selection...its all stuff you can get at the grocery store across the street. Service was great as usual but I fear Painkillers might be going downhill :( What's happening?!

Both were excellent appetizers and the crab cake was delicious with plenty of crab meat. We decided to stay and ordered an entree to share. We ordered Surf and Turf. The steak was cooked medium and the shrimp were Cajun seasoned. The mushroom glaze on the asparagus was delightful. We had a glass of champagne to end. I would highly recommend the restaurant. It's more about atmosphere and enjoying the experience. We are definitely going back. The wine selection was great. No mixed drinks and only wine and beer on the menu.

I used to think this place was awesome. It had friendly staff (I thought), great food, karaoke, and was super close to our house. . .until last weekend that is. My fiance and I went to enjoy a few beers and have a good time as we have done at least a dozen times before. While she was at the bar getting beers a man came up behind her, hugged her, began to touch "certain areas" on her chest, and would not let her go even though she was trying to fight him off. Obviously, this resulted in a 'scuffle' at the bar involving myself, the creepy molester guy, and the bartender from Foster's Pub down the street (who I also now think is a douche bag). The bartender at Loree's actually ended up kicking my fiance and myself out of the bar that night for "starting a fight". Nice, thanks man. I can understand kicking me out for starting a fight and will admit that is what I deserved, however the Foster's bartender should have been tossed and the molester guy DEFINITELY should have been tossed out. He was wasted and very touchy feely with everyone. The Foster's bartender got involved because while I had been "discussing" the situation with the molester, his girlfriend came up and started yelling at me to leave him alone. I put my hand in front of of her face (I did not touch her at all, just put my hand in front of her face) to stop the noise. Apparently, the Foster's bartender thinks it's ok for a man to molest my fiance at the bar, but placing my hand in front of his girlfriend's face is out of bounds. Really dude? You try and stop me from protecting my fiance who just had her chest touched and you get mad at me for putting my hand in your girlfriends face because she was defending the molester of all people???? Needless to say I will never go back to Loree's and I will never ever go back to Foster's Pub. The 'molester' was a local regular as I've seen him there before and the bartender knows his name (which I cannot remember); so if you go there he's likely going to be there looking for some more action (keep your lady close and don't leave her alone). You can tell that the Loree's and Foster's staff are all buddy buddy too, which explains why my fiance and I were kicked out of the bar and the creepy old molester guy and Foster's bartender were allowed to stay. I wish I knew both of their names because I would definitely post them. read more

Super disappointed! Went in on January 18 Saturday night with my friends. We walked up to the bar right as we entered and was waiting to order. When the older man bartender came up to us he was rolling his eyes and looked annoyed from the start. We asked what tequila he had and he said "look at the fucking wall". He was extremely rude. Then we asked if he could make shooters and he said he had been doing this for "40 years and can make anything", so once we ordered the specific shooter we wanted he got mad and said he had never heard of the shooter we asked for. He then proceeded to walk away and said let me know when u are ready. We were simply trying to ask questions. We were asking questions because it was a new place and we were trying to figure out what they could serve. Will never be back again. I've been a server / bartender for 10 years now and there is a way to serve a customer whether you are busy or having a bad day or whatever the case is. But this was extremely disappointing. read more

I have to say that I have lived in the area for almost 15 years and Loree's Little Shack was a much better experience before the big bald guy was bartending. He was a complete ass to pretty much everyone that was trying order from him..... you know, people that were trying to give them $$, the $$ that pays Loree's bills, $$ that puts food on the big bald guys table. I don't get it, how in the Hell could this guy be employed in customer service. He alone is my reason for the low review. read more

The food was INCREDIBLE Flaming Artichoke A + Lobster Tacos A + Black Pepper Sauce A +++++++ Loree's had about 40 customers, 15 sh in the bar, 25 sh in the sit down area. 1 gal, 1 guy, they killed it.
