Start with a few drinks only to find out you need cash, ATM out, had to find a ATM. Rude people.

This time I was in here for the shepherd's pie. From being here before, I'd seen someone else order it and noticed it comes in a mini cast iron; he serving option alone is already promising. The shepherd's pie is absolutely delicious, no notes. The mash on top was broiled with just enough crisp, so smooth and creamy underneath. The ground meat below was cooked hot with smoke, and every bite was hearty and rich, with noticeable touches of herb. I don't like peas, so the shepherd's pie here coming with carrots instead makes it even better for me, and the crispy shallots on top give an occasional crunch. So far I've tried three dishes here, and I've been happy with all of them. These dishes are the kind I'd come back for, but this really solidifies the impression that most, if not all, of the menu would be worth trying. Pair that with the friendly, attentive staff and the relaxing atmosphere, and this is for sure a top pick.

The menus were kind of old and a little soiled so if the food is good here I will never know because I wouldn't touch the menus. Sat at the bar and asked for the name of a beer they had on tap. She gave me a generic answer and it turns out she was right. It was just called Channelside IPA. Still the interaction wasn't very pleasant and in fact was a little awkward. Definitely didn't feel welcome. Also didn't help that I am naturally a smart Alec. All I know is we definitely didn't click. I settled in on a Smithwicks Red Ale. Finished my beer and promptly left. The experience was Meh. The beer was good though.

What's unique is that, in addition to beer, they also craft their own seltzers and ciders. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They encourage you to sample drinks before buying, which is great especially since some options are quite unique, and sampling helps you pick something you'll enjoy. Bootleggers has a cozy, neighborhood bar feel, which I really appreciate. It's a spot for locals rather than tourists. They also host game nights, and I was surprised by how lively it was for a Saturday afternoon. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'm definitely looking forward to coming back.

The bar is welcoming, and there seems to be an upstairs area if you want to go exploring. There is a fridge here, and single cans are available. Overall, one of the better brewery places to visit. A lot better than most, if not everything, in the Orlando area, but still a little shy of being outstanding. Not many of those outliers around, so unless you are lucky enough to live or be traveling near one, consider this place an outstanding compromise.

It's twice a week so I asked, looked pretty fun as people danced, ate, drank, and played same time. It's got both indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of TV screens, a pup cup on the menu. A song box to pay and play your choice of music. What else, their food is AMAZING! Their service was spot on, friendly, quick and great hospitality. Such gooood smash burger! Yummy, it's a double and tasted juicy. I'm going back for seconds. If you are Deaf or use sign language, their cook, Carlos knows fluent sign language to communicate and take your order. Just ask for him.

You could certainly smell the hops when you walked inside. Nice variety of beer, but since I was the designated driver this trip I only had one....the Amber. It was good, not super full bodied, but I liked it. You order drinks at the bar and also food, although there is a QR code to order food also. The menu is limited, but there are nice choices. I had the double smash burger which came with fries. It comes with tomatoes and lettuce, but if you wanted onions it was 75 cents extra. Weird. I placed the order using the QR code and they texted me when my order was ready. You have to head outside to the food truck to pick up your food. The burger was good as were the fries. I would come back to try some of the other beers.
