Best Mexican food in the area. Authentic food is always a good thing. Highly recommend their tacos, rice and beans. Really anything is good.

First time trying this place and it definitely screams authentic food, staff was very friendly. I had a torta that was almost the size of my head! The quality and quantity of the food is very good for the prices. I also tried a side of rice and it was cooker perfectly and lightly seasoned. Sometimes there is a language barrier here while trying to order, but for the most part there are zero problems and only deliciousness. This specific EBL has the BEST flautas of any I have ever had. This place is no frills, but very decent in quality of food and price. Lots of food on the plate for the price and the counter servers are very helpful. Not a huge amount of seating and not so great parking, but they do deliver in DeKalb and have room inside for about 20 people and have a few picnic benches outside. We like the fajitas, chimichangas, tacos al pastor and enchildas. read more

Is not bad but I found it to be below the quality of another dekalb mexican restaurant. The Al Pastor seemed like it was precooked then microwaved. The chorizo and steak was ok but it wouldn't be my first choice. read more

I ordered delivery, it was supposed to be to my house in 45min. I ordered at 9pm....I didnt get it until AFTER 10:30pm! I called the place at 10:34pm asking where my food was and the girl said it was coming. Finally the delivery driver was found knocking at my neighbors door! My food was completely cold! I called and the lady who answered put the owner on the phone...he laughed at me and basically called me a liar when I told him the driver was at the wrong house. I wanted a refund. He refused and told me to go to Falmingos next time. This IS NOT the first time I ran into problems with this restaurant/manager. They ALWAYS forget something in your order or you give you flour tortillas if you order corn. My coworkers will NOT order from them anymore either because they SUCK at customer service. I like their food too, but Flamingos is much better and they have GREAT service! read more

I hadn't been in there for years, since it was el loco burrito. When it was el loco burrito they put all kinds of gross herbs on the meat and I didn't really like it. But since I saw it had a new name I assumed it would be a new owner so I gave it another try. Overall it was pretty good . They did put lettuce on my burrito even though I asked for it to not be on there, but they offered to get me a free one on my next visit so I'm satisfied. After I scraped the lettuce off it tasted very nice . friendly wait staff and very clean sitting area. I am definitely going back and trying some of their other menu items. read more

The place was small and nice, looked clean. They have horchata and agua de jamaica!! My boyfriend and I are Mexican and we were craving some real Mexican food and we found this place. We loved it! I ordered a steak torta with lettuce, sour cream, cheese, and tomato. SO GOOD! The bun was toasted very nice and the ingredients looked fresh and tasty. The staff was really nice and the hours are good too, open till 3 am on weekends!! If you are looking for cheap but great tasting Mexican food, you need to check it out. Mediocre Mexican food still. I gave up on the menudo. The cooks are doing a horrible job making this restaurant be "authentic." My only favorite is the tamales now, they taste pretty good BUT it is horribly prepared, it fell apart right away it looked like a salad without the lettuce...the chimichanga is alright, this place let me down, once again. But I'll still be going to this place..only because I don't feel like making tamales or chimichangas. read more

Always a great meal! Probably one of the better taco places in the area. Sometimes they have a sign in front of their store for $1.25 tacos, which is good deal. Staff is always friendly and place is always clean. The burritos are over the top big. Even the baby burrito are a good size. Top picks are their tacos, carne asada meal, and burritos. read more

Everything here is authentic and the menu is very extensive, so you might actually have trouble picking something to eat. Firstly, this place is in a college town so don't expect nice decorations or anything. The inside is really nothing special, however, the food is amazing. Very bad, my wife and I went in for a couple of burritos saw one of the owners go into the bathroom a very dirty bathroom at that with cleaning products and come back out with the same cleaning products and no gloves on and then go to the front of the restaurant grab our plates with the same dirty hands and serve us without washing. read more

Pretty darn good. Especially considering that I'm not a huge fan of mexican food. I would def. recommend the steak and potato burrito!
