This restaurant sits in an old historic house. It's fun imagining what went on in the past. Ordered the Birria tacos and it was quite tasty. The beef was soft and tender and the consume was great. The taco salad was fresh and a nice serving for lunch. Lucky there was no wait but capacity is quite small dinner might get busy. Service was great and the restaurant was quaint

The food here is pretty good. My friends and I got different dishes and everyone enjoyed their meals. I ordered the quesobirria tacos and it was very good! Very filling and hearty, 3 tacos kept me so full I disnt eat dinner anymore. It has home like appeal and feeling when you dine in. Friendly and attentive staff.

    Quessabirrias plate. DELICIOUS.

My husband and I love this restaurant! The spicy green salsa and fresh crunchy chips was so good. My husband ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich and I ordered the quesabirrias plate. Both my husband and I were very happy with our meals. My plate was perfect: beans, rice, spicy sauce, and 2 tacos -so good! I also had to have a bite of my husband's sandwich because he loved it so much, and it was seriously the best bbq sandwich I've ever tried. The chicken was cooked perfectly. We both enjoyed our meals and we will be back for more! Also, the staff were all very kind and welcoming. This is our new favorite spot for Mexican food. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I recently arrived in Napa and stopped into this quaint 'home' for Lunch. It was somewhat busy for a Thursday afternoon and their menu had a Nice Assortment of Traditional Mexican Favorites. We received the typical chips with a green salsa that had a little 'kick'. The chips were Not even Warm, which was a little disappointing. My husband ordered two tacos a la carte while I opted for their chicken enchiladas. I was a little surprised at how long to took to receive our meals but they were good. My husband was a little disappointed with his two tacos since their were the 'typical' Street Tacos and were smaller than he had expected. My meal was very filling with not the usual enchilada presentation. The enchiladas were served with Shredded Lettuce, small pieces of White Cheese, Guacamole and Sour Cream on top. The chicken was a little bland with hardly any melted cheese inside or outside but the beans and rice were good. I would have liked just a little more Flavor added, Not Heat, but flavor.

Dimples recommended the chillireano and it was fire. Pass by yesterday with my son and my bro.

I started with a classic margarita, and it was perfectly executed--balanced, refreshing, with a properly salted rim and a clean, classic presentation. For food, I ordered the campechano with shrimp and octopus, and it was outstanding. The seafood was fresh and generous, the octopus was incredibly tender, and the shrimp were large and flavorful. It immediately reminded me of being on the coast in places like Rosarito or Ensenada--very authentic and well done. The setting is also a huge plus, especially the back patio right along the Napa River. It creates a relaxed, scenic atmosphere that really elevates the entire experience. Great food, great service, and a beautiful location. I'll definitely be back.

What an exceptional discovery for authentic Mexican cuisine. This unassuming roadside restaurant,…read moreoffering dining exclusively outdoors, delivers the kind of culinary experience that reminds you why some of the best food is often found in the most unexpected places. The dining concept is refreshingly casual yet incredibly efficient. Guests place their order at the counter before making their way to the outdoor picnic seating area tucked behind the restaurant. The staff then delivers the food directly to the table, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that perfectly complements the rustic roadside setting. The menu itself is intentionally concise, which immediately signals a kitchen focused more on execution and quality than excess. It also appeared to feature a rotating seasonal selection, and with the beginning of summer came a fresh seasonal menu showcasing vibrant and authentic flavors of summer. We decided on the beef tacos, and they were truly outstanding. I wish I could remember what type of beef they were. The plate arrived simply presented with three street-style tacos accompanied by fresh lime wedges and crisp radish slices. While minimal in appearance, the flavors were anything but simple. The corn tortillas were among the best I have experienced, lightly crisped, with a delicate texture and subtle depth of flavor that elevated the entire dish. The beef was exceptionally tender, moist, and perfectly seasoned without overpowering the natural richness of the meat. Finished with diced white onions, fresh cilantro, and a vibrant green salsa, every component felt thoughtfully balanced. With a squeeze of lime over the top, the first bite delivered that rare and memorable reaction every food enthusiast hopes for, an immediate "wow" moment. What makes this restaurant particularly impressive is its authenticity and restraint. Rather than trying to do everything, it focuses on doing a select number of dishes extraordinarily well. That dedication to quality is clearly reflected in the numerous accolades displayed throughout the property, including multiple years of Michelin recognition. Who would expect that one of the most memorable Mexican dining experiences in the region would be found at a humble roadside establishment in Sonoma? For anyone visiting the area, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit destination. I look forward to returning soon to further explore the menu and experience more of what this remarkable culinary gem has to offer.
