They were tired from the day and zipped into their stroller so they could only see out the front and had a cozy bed where they were soon snoozing fitfully. We were seated in their patio area which is shaded by solar panels. So cool! We soon had waters, chips and salsa and our menus to decide. The salsa had a wonderful hit of heat. The staff was welcoming and helpful. We placed our orders. My daughter chose two Camarones tacos that had grilled shrimp, corn tortilla, lettuce, onions, cilantro and salsa. She also got one Carne Asada taco that had grilled beef, corn tortilla, lettuce, onions, cilantro and salsa. She said the meat was delicious and the toppings were super fresh. My husband chose the Fajita Taco Salad with chicken, the salad had onions, peppers, beans, lettuce, pico de gallo, cheese, guacamole, and sour cream. He really liked the crunchy shell and the salad was tasty. I chose the L.A. Quesabirria Tacos. It came with 3 tacos on corn tortillas and consumé for dipping. This sandwich is truly epic. The wheat bread is from a local bakery. Instead of it being toasted in a perfunctory, afterthought manner, it is thoroughly toasted right at the point of the wheat kernels cracking, engendering the goodness only wheat can provide. The bacon is properly cooked, with no hint of undercooked slime present. The green chili tastes as though it was brought here this morning from Hatch, with the whole of the ingredients being uniquely fresh. Finally, the sriracha mayo sauce provides just the right presence of spice, uniquely accenting the green chili. Turkey itself is great, but I confess, is so overshadowed by the excellence present throughout the sandwich, that it hardly occupies the center stage. On another note, a definite problem here is that the water glass conveying a distinct taste of soap residue. It's bad. This happened the last time that I was here, as well. The pretzel bites with cheese were fantastic. The service was friendly and efficient and everything we had was fabulous. It is conveniently located downtown near hotels, shops, and the train. Super easy five stars…read more First of all. The burgers and all the food is fantastic, and so are the drinks. It's located in a Holiday Inn and we were staying there so it was an easy choice for dinner after traveling all day. We were there on a weeknight and it was unexpectedly busy. CJ (or TJ) was the only one working....besides the cook, I think. Anyway, CJ (or TJ) was handling the whole place by himself...making drinks, serving food, taking orders, the whole bit. He was so cool, we didn't mind the extra wait at all. He told us the food would be worth the wait and it was! The menu is simple, lots of burgers, some chicken options, and a few salads, along with some wings, fried pickles, quesadillas, etc. The fries and onion rings were perfect!! I mean, perfect!! We loved our experience there. Oh, and CJ (or TJ) makes a killer Old Fashioned!! They are also open for breakfast from 6:30-9:30 AM. Bar is open 3:00-11:00 PM, and dinner is from 4:00-10 PM.
