Let me start by saying this is my first yelp review. I stopped at this business about 530pm during fall hours so it was dark. I stopped here because the business is well lit and was open at this time. My vehicle had the low pressure light on and indicated the back two tires needed air. This is something that happens every year once the weather gets cold. I asked to put air in my back two tires which they did in approximately 15-20 minutes and then was charged 35.00!!!! Which is a ridiculously high cost for putting air in two tires!!! I find it disturbing that this business has pictures of who I believe is the owner with several dignitaries including Stanislaus County Supervisor DiMartini and the Modesto Police Chief, in addition there is several trophies of what I assume are sports teams they sponsor. So you want to be validated in your community and support your local youth but you want to charge 35.00 for putting air in two tires!! read more

Went to replace a lug nut key which they charges me $25 for one that seemed used but I went ahead and purchased it bc I needed to replace it. After I left, I looked for other tire shops and got a quote of $5 at America's Tire so I went over there to make sure it wasn't too good to be true. It wasn't. They gave me a brand new one for $5. I then went back to Los amigos and tried to return the one I was given less than an hour prior and they refused saying it was used though I had my even used it. When asked why i was returning it I told them I found a cheaper option which seemed to insult the man and he continued to refuse my request to return the key. I went here for an alignment for my Car and I was told it was $50 Flat. I gave them my keys and told me to wait. An hour pass I asked them twice how long I have to wait my car was Still where I Parked it. I went to go tell them I want my keys back then they told me I was next so I stayed the The mechanic said my car needs better tires before I do the alignment so I went Back Inside and he still wanted to charge me $45 for inspection they should've explained to me that there was another Fee before servicing my car I explained to him the situation and luckily he didn't charge me the fee. read more

I went in for two tires and an alignment. I had been here before. Nothing special but they got it done. This time I was told 30 minutes for tires and 45 minutes for alignment. When he told me 2 hours I should have realised they have no sense of time. I've been here 2 1/2 hours now and they finally pulled it out. No alignment done yet. Needless to say... I left. Rediculous. I'm not a racist or anything but if you're not Latino or Mexican, you're screwed if you're trying to get help from them. I went in to get some rims and tires and the customer service sucks. I was being approached by a salesman and then another customer walked in behind me speaking Spanish and instead of finishing up with me, he left me to go help the other customer. No professionalism, courtesy or friendliness at that place. The owner of the shop was there and he didn't even do anything about it. Ive bought a few sets of tires from them and was satisfied with my purchase. This time i called for a set of tires they said they had them but when i arrived at the store i was told they only had two. So i settled for another brand which they said was just as good and 40 dollars cheaper.( it was sunday and i was driving in a spare). About a month later i hit a pothole and had two blow outs. Returned to make a warrant claim so they looked into and called the manufacturer and it was covered. They were going to send me home on two spare tires so i asked for some used ones which they provided. I was told theyd call me when the manufacturer picked up the old tires. About a month later still no call. Ive called them several times and all they tell me is the same thing. That they just called and are waiting for there response and they'd call me right back. This is bye far the worst tire place to go to...I went there back in Feb 2020, to buy new tires, which I did. I bought 4 brand new tires for my car...Well the 2 front tires are completely worn...They are not worn inside or outside only they are worn evenly all the way across them with just less than 4,000 miles on them...Mind you they are 40,000 mile tires...So i went back to them yesterday...They were very rude...The guy tried to tell me I had hit something with the front of my car, which is not true, have not hit anything...They left me sitting there for 2 hours, an still had not looked at my tires...My husband called in to see what was going on the guy told him, that I was lieing an had only been there for 45 minutes...Why would I lie?? Came in looking for a used steel wheel, and while the store sold me a size that as the same size as the one I was looking for, it gave me a chance to see if it would fit. To surprise it did not fit, came back to the store and they tried to find the size I was looking for but did not have it. Needless to say they reimbursed me what I had paid and always providing a great customer service! Very satisfy with the transaction although I was unable to find what I was looking for. i went in to change my rear tires and put my rear tires to the front, I got there around 4:30pm it was already 6pm. i asked front desk how much longer for my vechicle? had said about 15min I said ok I went around to check on it. Found out they broke my wheel stud on front tire, didn't tell me! went and bought a new one asked front desk what happened to my car? said we accidentally broke a wheel stud I said ok do I get a discount? he said no where replacing it for free? sorry where not perfect I said ok I'll let them replace it! then find out they tried to cut it off with a grinder!!! i told them to stop it, I'll take it in and get it fixed at Honda but you guys will pay the bill. Front desk said ok send me the bill through email. while I was waiting up front owner/manager started telling me that it had came in like that, that they where unable to torque my lug nuts down! but the only time I removed my wheels was with them I had replaced my front tires couple months ago doesn't make sense!!! how can they have been that way. The Los amigos tire pros are the place to go for quality work. I always go there because of this. A lot of places can't even reset the tpms. Recently I had a badly cracked wheel and another tire shop tried and failed to fix it. Im really disappointed in these guys. They put new tires on my car and lost they key to my locking lugnut. When i noticed that the key was not there i went back and asked them if they had it. They told me they would look for it. And they did for like 3 minutes and they had me waiting for 45 minutes just to tell me they cant find it and that i have to do to the dealer to get a new one. I asked if they where going to help me the guy told me no because it took me to long to go back and ask for it. I purchased a brand new set of cooper tires about a year and a half ago. The customer service was great at the time. I recently noticed, that all four tires have cracks around the edge. I called them to ask about the warranty and they told me, I need my receipt which, Is in my storage and I can not find. I no longer live in modesto, I stopped by today because I was passing through, asked if they had record of my purchase, the owner said, no, I needed the receipt to check if I had record of rotation and pulled out a white envelope. I said that I never received one of those and was never told to Bring my vehicle in. He then asked me what color was the receipt and asked if I ever owned a vehicle before with an attitude. I do not appreciate being belittled, not everyone purchases brand new tires every time and there's no need to be rude. Maybe it's my fault for not asking questions. I told him not to worry about it, It's not worth the hassle and attitude and walked out. Not once did he try say or do anything to help me, he let a customer leave unsatisfied. I tried to make the hour and half trip to purchase another set for my second vehicle because of their service the first time, but do to time, I had to purchase locally. After my experience today, I am glad I went elsewhere. If you decide to do business with them, make sure that you receive the evelope to keep record of maintenance. read more
