Excellent upscale Mexican located on the scenic Ark River in Jenks. Great selection of TeX Max platters, Fajitas, plus wide selection of seafood , chicken and beef main courses. Chips were very fresh and crisp with two excellent red sauces. We had the guacamole starter and my wife had chicken enchilada platter with refried beans and Spanish rice. I had the Cabo Platter with chicken enchilada, cheese enchilada , chicken tamale and beef taco. I also had the charro beans and Spanish rice. My daughter and grandsons also had speciality platter all very well prepared hot and tasty. They have a full bar and live music almost every night . We caught one of the cooler summer nights and enjoyed setting under fans on the patio listen to a excellent singer guitar player . Service was fast and accurate and pricing was very affordable for this dining experience. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. EXCELLENT location on the river with a huge patio and stage for outdoor dining, drinking and good times. We ate inside and had a great meal with great service. Chips and salsa (both warm and cold) were comp with meal, however queso is extra. I ordered a tilapia special and it was absolutely delicious! I'm not a huge fan of typical tex-mex fare and i am so glad I went with the grilled fish over vegetables. It's served with a shrimp and scallop cream sauce and includes a sweet corn tamale cake. I'm a little torn to have to write this review as my memorable memories of eating here over the years have been fond...saying that maybe the proliferating spread of authentic Mexican food has somewhat skewed my taste buds. The fort little turn off was at the hostess stand...a nice young(obviously new) hostess greeted us and asked if we would like to be in the heated patio or inside...she was shortly cut odd by an "older" obviously manager or supervisor and said "don't ask them just put them in the patio"....I didn't really know what to say at that so we all looked at each other and just gave the eye roll" and followed the nice young hostess... We ordered a bowl of quest which was as expected(can't get queso too wrong right) tasty, salsa was good and they have us two kinds which was a bonus and the chips were fresh...so far so good. For the entree we orders the chimichanga it was as expected not much "wow" factor to it....kinda meh.... The biggest shocker was the "Mexican city taco" platter...the tacos 1. Had chicken when I ordered steak...but I went with it...the obviously were fixed put on the plate and than blast furnace warmed with the beans and rice so they all pretty much melted all over the plate...I don't know if I'd call them tacos at this point as they had to be eaten with a fork and again...were just "Meh".....at the end of the day I can say there are some better options, the kitchen needs to put more QA in what they send out and maybe some sort of refresh is due from the stale menu items ....I wouldn't recommend this to people who are wanting a classic Mexican meal or something memorable food...I now remember why I always just drive to east tulsa when I want some awesome Mexican food... read more

Man, this is another level. You gotta understand, this has been our go to Mexican place for years. I have eaten here more times than I can't count. That being said, think I'm done with them. We were eating dinner with our whole family. Two of the individuals at our table ordered the "fried stuffed avocados" and requested that they not be battered and fried. They have ordered this 10's of times. They brought them, and sure enough they were battered and fried. No big deal, mistakes happen. The waiter, Aaron, said that they would remake them. 10 minutes later the manager approaches the table and informs us that those were actually their last avocados and that they could not be remade. This was frustrating, but the manager offered to give both of them anything else on the menu for free. That being understood, they ordered the ribs... and they ended up enjoying them. The bill came, we paid, and left. After getting home, we looked at the receipt and saw that they charged us for the ribs! The whole visit ended up taking almost 2 hours because of the mix up... and they did not do what they said they would do. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

We had very good food and excellent service. They were busy on Sat night at 5:25pm but had a table for 2. As soon as we sat down, chips and salsa were delivered to us. This place was busy! We were sat instantly and recieved our drinks quickly. The caramel apple martini was really good. The outside patio had a band playing with an outside bar so expect it to be noisy! I ordered the flautas which gave the option to smother in a sauce for extra $ and picked the queso, when my food arrived there was no sauce and they brought me a tiny container on the side after asking the server and the amount given was enough to cover half of the first flauta out of 2. We came here after we visited the Aquarium and it was delish. The only downfall was the set up.. the queso was just alright and sadly the salsa tasted store bought, but the food itself (I got the quesadillas and my husband got a burrito) were REALLY good! My daughter got a cheeseburger and it looked amazing, especially for a kids meal. We would definitely come back. I only gave two stars because we had a large group and the service was pretty good, as our server was taking care of three large groups. That being said, the food wasn't so great. Everywhere, including this particular location, has prepared fajitas with grilled chicken and the vegetables have been on top of the chicken, and has come to the table still sizzling. Our order obviously never sizzled. I could touch the cast iron. The chicken wasn't grilled. It was cooked and sliced up real nice with a few veggies underneath all of the chicken. Our tortillas were brought to the table in a breadbasket with a cloth napkin over them. WTH? No one in our group ate their entire meal. The food obviously isn't as good as it once was. I was very disappointed and sorry that we came here. There are much better Mexican restaurants in the Tulsa area! The only reason we tipped well was because our server did a fairly good job. In fact, with the 18% tip already added to our bill, my husband tipped her extra, totaling 50%, which would have been fine if none of it went to the kitchen. I would not recommend. read more

You bet I'm a fan of fresh and flavorful Mexican food, consistently great service, (I think there are at least a hundred employees bussing tables, refilling chips/ salsa and serving on a busy weekend night!), outdoor seating and live music! He ordered the steak/chicken fajitas and I the brisket tacos. Steak is the way to go here; I wasn't completely impressed by the chicken. The brisket tacos were full of meat and flavor. I chose the black beans as my side and I'd never thought I'd say "the beans stole the show" but they did! They were perfectly prepared and fresh. They have wonderful white queso! It's on the thicker/ heavier side though so be careful not to eat too much before the meal.The complimentary salsa is fantastic and on the spicier side. The ambiance is just... fun! Came to Los Cabos for weekday lunch with a friend & her toddler whole visiting Tulsa. We were immediately seated on the patio & quickly served drinks, chips, and salsa. The waitress was excellent and very helpful and efficient. I love their chips & salsa, which is a little spicy & very garlicky. Their queso is also delicious. They have a broad menu and are accommodate substitutions and dietary restrictions. Portions are also generous. It's literally NUTS how bad this place is. Tex Mex at its worst. A cavernous hall of people fed by the shovelful of beans, rice and whatever excuse for Tex-Mexican food the poor workers can conjure up in a reasonable time frame. You can tell a restaurant's ethics by its bar. This place has weak drinks but I guess if you like sweet and sour they got you covered. Frankly it's tough paying for the swill they serve. Especially when the waiter is steering you to order the most expensive margarita on the menu since it's "the best margarita in Tulsa" for the past 8 years (no one went broke underestimating the bad taste of the American public I guess). Luckily I avoided that trap just by reading the ingredient list (sweet and sour=sickly sweet/weak drink) but two in my party fell into the trap. Of course they regretted it and asked for new drinks since they specifically asked for a decent margarita. To his credit,the waiter did try admirably to defend Los Cabos bottom line by reminding us that these margaritas are beloved customer favorites and have been "Tulsa's favorite margarita for the past 8 years"... The coup de grace came when my dinner was literally inedible. I had a metal, black, hexagonal hardware NUT amidst a plate of black beans.... The photo below is worth a thousand words (and barely suppressed gags) so I'll let it speak for itself. The waiter and manager did their best and it's not their fault. They comped the food and the couple who was celebrating their birthday. Honestly the surprise in the food was more entertaining that the sad trio of mariachis singing and woefully blowing a sad, small, tin trumpet and our party enjoyed all the puns they could muster. Once We showed up we were excited to see that they had outdoor seating! It was a awesome day with a great breeze so we took advantage of it. Once we figured out what we wanted to eat it was smooth sailing after that lol the only thing we didn't like was the fact that our drinks came in Dixie cups because we sat outside...not a good thing when it's windy and the waitress made sure we always had a fresh cold soda infront of us but she never took the old ones so they just kept pilling up and we was trying to make sure they wasn't going to be blown away. If you don't want to mess with the Dixie cups then sit underneath the awning then you get the normal hard plastic cups. Their white queso is awesome but be sure to eat it quick because the longer it sits and cools off the harder and tougher it is for your chip to dip in it without breaking to pieces lol read more

This is the best location for los Cabos on the river it is a Beautiful location for a restaurant. The staff here are family friendly and they will tell you what's best. The food is always great and on time a quick tip is call and make reservations for immediate seating. Tonight it was almost empty due to the river flooding so we were sat down instantly and chips and salsa followed. The best appetizer is the steaks fajita queso which is the best queso I have ever had and that's saying something. Drinks followed up the chips immediately and then we order we probably waited 15 minutes for our food which is amazing and our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Now usually I say in my reviews I recommend this on the menu not this menu for everything on it is very good. This time I order one of my favorites which is Brisket Tacos which is probably the best taco I have ever had bc the meat is seasoned to perfection and head the hail on the head I left with a clean plate. Los Cabos was fantastic! I stopped in on a Friday night and the place was packed, however, this didn't effect the quality of service or the attitude of the servers. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. It was a bit too chilly to sit outside on the patio overlooking the river, but the interior was equally impressive. Dimly lit, great decor, felt like an authentic experience, or, at least, my idea of an authentic experience. I really enjoyed it! I had the Chimichanga which was stuffed with beef and came with queso and sour cream drizzle. The girlfriend had the Chicken Flautas, also delicious. I'm looking forward to returning to Los Cabos and trying more of their extensive menu. They are fairly priced for the quality of service and food that you receive. They also have a ton of drink options, including a "Sooner Swirl" for all of you familiar with the Mont's Swirl in Norman. read more

Love the atmosphere, huge patio, live music! Almost felt like we were dining somewhere not in Oklahoma- dare I say I almost felt like there was a beach nearby. We were seated immediately on the patio at a 4 person table although we realized quickly that this table was awful small for me and my 2 kids...heaven forbid we had 4 adults. Food was delish- I absolutely loved their regular salsa. They will give you 2 when seated- mild and hot- I love hot things but enjoyed the mild taste much more. They do also have a Tomatillo salsa and a habanero salsa but again I just really enjoyed the mild the best. We ordered white queso as an appetizer and although I'm not a white queso fan I probably could have eaten the whole cup myself- it was good. We shared fajitas and the flavor was absolutely amazing. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars our server was off to me. She was nice and informative but didn't really seem happy, almost like her mind was elsewhere and it made the experience awkward...I felt a bother to ask her for something. We also waited 20 minutes to sign the tab after giving our payment? But we all have our days. All in all I would go back and suggest people try it out. read more

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Oklahoma. The food can't be beat. If you don't know what to order, try the fried avocado with steak and queso, or the Yucatán tacos. The Cabo Bueno margarita is the best around. Management is very hands on and helpful, and I've never had bad service. We called for carry out. Much of our order was missing even though the items were listed on the receipt on the bag and we had paid for them. We ordered fajitas for two - no Mexican rice was included, the extra tortillas I had ordered (6) weren't there, and neither was guacamole appetizer that we ordered. Very careless packing even though they took longer than they promised to get it all ready. Pretty standard fare for Tex Mex. The salsa was warm and very yummy. I was hungry and definitely inhaled more than I should have. My guy had a platter of cheese and beef enchiladas.
