    Breakfast was amazing and filling!

10/10! Coming from a Salvi girl who was raised on pupusas, traditional breakfasts, and authentic Salvadoran food, I can honestly say this place feels like home. The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavor. The location is great, and the customer service was exceptional. Kevin, our waiter, was incredibly attentive and constantly checked in to make sure we were enjoying everything. He truly made us feel welcome. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to all my family and friends. If you're looking for authentic Salvadoran food in a warm, comfortable atmosphere, this is the place!

I've been here few times now everything went great until today I ordered today because I seen they were raising money for a cause people in Venezuela and had a deal . 3 for 10$ pupusas I called and placed and order and when I get here she said it doesn't apply because I didn't mention that promo and could no longer apply it . The only reason I ordered these was because of the promo ! not cool ! Definitely makes the customer NOT want to come back

My wife saw this place on instagram so I came to pick up pupusas.. 1) place looks nice from the outside 2) place was small inside 3) smelled like the sewage was backed up 4) service was nice friendly but they took almost 25 minutes for my order (I know it's freshly made) 5) the pupusas were good, nice and soft with good flavor, the salad mix lacked some vinegar and the sauce wasn't spicey. All in all I give it a 7.5 out of 10

Wanted to check this place out since I saw it on insta and we were in the area. Ordered five pupusas for me and my wife to share and they were pretty good! The restaurant is new and you can definitely tell because the interior looks great and nicely decorated. Service was friendly but our food did take about 25 mins or so to come out. I think because this is a new spot, they might still be working some things out service wise. Once we did get it though, the pupusas were really good! Great toppings, a variety of sauce, and the fillings all hit well. My favorite was the jalapeño and cheese. Definitely worth a try!

Considering that this was their second day of opening day of their new location and is was excessively crazy full , and it looked like everybody that worked here was running around with their head cut off ! I guess mistakes were going to be made I called in my order was told that it would be 20 minutes so I got there 35 minutes later my order was still not done. Waited another additional hour and I was told that they had mistakenly given my order away!! To someone else by mistake their Manager came out and apologized. And so did a few of the workers. The manager refunded me my money for seven pupusas I had ordered and a large drink told me to wait an additional 15 minutes and my order would be complete because they made the effort of apologizing. I waited around another 15 minutes and honestly, it was worth it because the food here was really good. I would definitely wait a few weeks until coming back maybe by then things will ease up and won't be so crazy. My wife is a huge fan of pupusas . She grew up eating these and she said these were probably the best she's had in a while. The location is really clean Even though it was crazy full they have a lot of people on staff and ambience was normal. People just pretty much were waiting around to get their food. I would definitely recommend people to come out and give them a try. "FYI If you ever had pupusas you know that they're handmade and regardless of what establishment you purchased them at it's always a wait of 20-30 minutes so just keep that in mind before leaving feeling upset that they're taking too long The majority of the time when I go to a restaurant like this even if we're dining in we always call in the order. Definitely something for you to keep in mind.

Grand opening weekend welcomed to Riverside. When lines form you know it's good. Line was forming out the door. Inside is clean, organized and filled with guests. Gave that old school mixed with modern touches. A variety of menu options besides pupusas. Corner location, Ample parking lot right in front. Some extra patience is needed as they're getting a handle on their stride. The wait was pretty long so if you have some time It's a great stop for some papusas.

The food was absolutely delicious! We had the pupusas revueltas along with the horchata and maracuyá frescos, and everything was full of flavor and tasted amazing. The service was also wonderful, our waitress and Kevin were both incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Even though it was their opening day, the food and drinks came out quickly and the quality was excellent. You can really tell the team cares about giving customers a great experience. We will definitely be coming back and can't wait to visit again!

So excited that they opened a location in the IE. Food is amazing! Authentic Salvadorian food. Staff is super friendly. The service was a little slow but I guess that's expected from a new location. Great ambiance with nice decor.

I was excited to try this new place, but unfortunately he did not go as expected. Not only did. They lose our order, but it literally took 40 minutes for simple order . The waiter never followed up to ensure the why our order was taking so long until I let them know The pupusa were okay the tamales were not it I ordered a chicken. And it had chicken fat skin in it I left the whole tamales untouched

Do not order the costillas de puerco, you can tell it wasn't freshly cooked probably left overs from a week or so very gamey lacked taste, took 1 bite and the rest to the trash, rice was ok beans were ok but not hot barely warm. What happen with taking pride and cooking with passion, in this economy and people willing to spend on eating out we expect good or delicious atleast to encourage us to come back, popusas were ok I've had better. I might give it another try but not anytime soon.

Los Cheros Pupuseria 2 is very clean inside, as are their bathrooms. Los Cheros has a well-deserved "A" rating. We were greeted right away. They have a wide-screen TV, and we enjoyed watching a World Cup match as we dined. If you choose to listen to music, they have Touch Tunes with your favorite tunes. I had the mojarra plate with beans and rice. The mojarra was delicious and tender. My wife ordered un plato de desayuno y una pupusa. She enjoyed the plato de desayuno but wasn't satisfied with the pupusa. She had ordered a sweet bread before her main dish and said it was dry and tasted slightly stale. Our server and their staff were very nice and attended to all our needs.

    frijol pupusa with no calabaza

I ordered a frijol + calabaza pupusa and was only given a frijol pupusa. I was charged extra because I didn't want the calabaza + cheese pupusa... about $6 The curtido is decent, but the sauce is watery. I've been to other pupuseria restaurants where I have not been charged more because of no cheese. As for ambience, the area is clean and spacious.

$7.99 special for GRAND OPENING SPECIAL BETWEEN 11am- 3pm ONLY 5/16-5/18!!!

Instead of trying to find out HOW meat got into my bean and cheese pupusa, she chose to be sarcastic and defensive about my experience without taking any accountability. She also said that their prices are "a little up there" and "are not meant for everyone" even though no one mentioned they had high prices. So she just went out of her way to...what? Call me poor? Weird. Please stop telling people that your cheese and beans are vegan; they are not. And it's not even always vegetarian either because I 100% got meat in mine and if you say you don't use ground meat in your pupusas, then I am even MORE concerned about what was in mine if it wasn't that. No wonder it upset my stomach all day! What the heck kind of meat was that?! You are clearly not a doctor so please don't try to tell me to go to the ER for an upset stomach. When vegetarians (and vegans) consume meat, we end up with a bad upset stomach - often for a full 24 hours or longer. It's like food poisoning to us. And I got it from your pupusas. She says: "We never said we are vegetarian connoisseurs." LOL lady, you're not even pupusa connoisseurs! I do agree with her on one thing though: Las Ploras pupusas "are not meant for everyone". I would keep that in mind the next time you're looking for good pupusas.

I really wish I had read the reviews before coming here because my experience with customer service…read morewas very disappointing. My husband and I came in and the first thing we noticed was how incredibly hot it was inside the restaurant. The older lady at the front was very nice and took our order. I ordered a torta and forgot to mention that I didn't want beans. That's completely my fault. After sitting down for a while, I suddenly remembered and immediately went back to the register. There was another older lady with glasses working the front. I politely said, "Oh my gosh, ma'am, I'm so sorry. I forgot to ask for no beans. Does the torta come with beans?" She said yes. I apologized again and asked if there was any way they could remove the beans or simply change the bread. Her response was, "No, it's already done. You should have thought about that when you first ordered the torta." I again admitted that it was my mistake and that it had simply slipped my mind, and I asked if there was anything they could do. She said no and told me that if I wanted a torta without beans, I would have to pay for an entirely new one. I understand that I made the mistake, but the issue wasn't the beans, it was the attitude and lack of customer service. I work in the food and restaurant industry myself, and if a customer came to me and said they accidentally forgot to mention something on their order, I would do everything I could to make it right because that's how customer service should be handled. I love my customers, want them to return, and want them to leave happy and share positive experiences. The pupusas were absolutely delicious, but customer service is top-tier for me, and because of this experience, I will definitely not be returning. It seemed like this employee simply didn't care about the customer experience, and unfortunately, that's how businesses lose customers. I hope management addresses this issue because the lady with glasses either needs additional customer service training or needs to change the way she treats customers. A little kindness and understanding go a long way. Also, my boyfriend is a content creator and was recording our experience, so this interaction will likely be featured on his YouTube channel as well. Great food can bring people in once, but great customer service is what brings them back.

They have a surcharge for credit card so we paid cash but still came out to over $30 for one Pupusa Loca and an horchata. The cashier explained the Pupusa Loca was a lot more bc it included all the meats, including shrimp. Of course, NO SHRIMP inside. Nada. Not even an errant shrimp tail to be found. Just a glorified quesadilla tbh. More cheese than anything else inside. Though the shell was crisp and delicious, it wasn't worth $20-25 for fried masa. More insulting was they went out of their way to ask if we'd like our horchata now or when the pupusa was ready. I opted for now. No other customers around but us and our baby waiting without shade in the summer heat. My bro politely waited for them before asking if we could get our drink now. Then they hand us two horchatas by mistake and snatch the extra away instead of just giving it to us for waiting with our baby who is yelling, "Cha cha, cha chaaa!!" Cold blooded. The horchata was one of the worst I've ever had. Just sugar water. No cinnamon, no rice, no love. Pretty much sums up what they are about.
