The DTC location has great vibes, the atmosphere is bright, fun and easy going. I love coming here for happy hour. Slight discounts on drinks and apps makes me happy! The guacamole is a showstopper, good spice with some jalapeños. It's fantastic! I had been here a few times back when I used to live down the street; so when a friend that lives in Parker suggested we meet for dinner I knew this was going to be a tasty halfway meeting point! The cocktails are delicious, I love that you can do any cocktail on the menu with Mezcal! I feel like the Paloma was my favorite; especially if you try it as the spicier version! We started with some chips, salsa, and guacamole because you can't eat Mexican food and not have chips and salsa amiright?!? They were bomb! That guacamole was thick and delicious, exactly how I like it; packed with luscious Avocado. Can I take a gallon of that home? Is that an option?! We also got a few tacos and being the newly found meat eater that I am, you know I had to go for some Carne and Pork Shoulder! Both were positively delicious. I think Pork Shoulder might be my new favorite thing? So tender, juicy, and flavorful! And the Carne was cooked to perfection. I will definitely need to come back because there were others I need to try as well! Luckily they have a Rino location so it can be a quick jaunt anytime I want it!!! Rattle snake tastes more like pork, which it also is and is very delicious and spicy with jalapeños. Brisket was fantastic and meaty with a great green sauce. Chicken not a favorite but still good. Spicy coin margarita the rim chili lime is excellent and I was sad it only was on part of my glass. Great little burn with a tart taste. Coin margarita wasn't too sweet Huge chicken quesadilla that was delicious and came with a dipping bowl of sour cream and spicy smoked salsa. Salsa rack worth the price. Most are sweet in flavor with a hot kick. But unless you have a big party or appetite you will not eat it all. Unlimited chips that are made daily and hot. Veggie Queso is really cheesy mixed with beans. I enjoyed it with chip. House guacamole was excellent and has a nice twist of lime taste to it. Get it! Atmosphere is very contemporary with louder club music playing. And a community feeling with painted walls, brick and steel. This is a unique place with a fun adventure to it. If you're looking for authentic quesabirria tacos, DONT COME HERE. I was very disappointed to pay $50 for 6 tacos, side of beans, side of rice, 1 container of consome. When I tell you livid, I'm saying LIVID, I get mad thinking of this atrocity. The sides first of all, came in these small containers that most businesses use for condiments. Small. Expensive too. The tacos, were quesbirria but cheap and small. Im a small girl with small hands, these weren't even the size of my palm. Small. The consome was not even consome, it was mostly oil. I sought out some of the best tacos before heading to a show. I ventured online to see what reviews were out there and found Los Chingones. It was in a nice Denver Tech Center neighborhood. It was super fun inside with graffiti like art all over. We were quickly seated and immediately ordered a bunch of random tacos to include the duck, chicken tikka, bang bang shrimp, the Santa Fe, carne asada and Al Pastor. We started with the elote queso. The queso itself was delicious, creamy, with a perfect amount of heat, the biggest let down though was the stems on the cilantro and the corn was lacking the char of a magnificent elote. The tacos came out and they were extremely pretty to look at. The first thing I noticed was the huge amount of pickled red onions on some of the tacos, they were extremely overwhelming in terms of flavor and amount to the rest of the flavors. The bang bang shrimp tacos were underwhelming, the shrimp was overcooked and didn't have the heat from the normal bang bang. None of the meat had any spice to it even basic salt or garlic seemed to be missing from the rotation. The staff was very nice and their house margarita was killer but I need some epic tacos that match that margarita to come back. We will continue our quest for the best tacos in Denver, this was a miss for us. read more

Visited for a corporate event a week and a half ago. I'll talk about the food drink and atmosphere first. Food - I didn't eat much but I enjoyed the birra taco that was on the taco platter they served. Since it was a group event the food was pre-ordered. Drinks - I ordered the passionfruit chile margarita. It was delicious. Not too sweet, not spicy. It tasted like a regular margarita just less limey and with some kick! Atmosphere - Wayyyyyy too loud. The music is uncomfortably loud. My server was nice. He was pretty quick with bringing my drinks to me. Some of my co-workers were complaining that it took too long for them to get drinks. Note: We had to meet a minimum in the two hours that our space was reserved. We didn't meet the minimum and wanted to order more food. I watched the manager argue with the person who planned our outing for about 10 minutes. It was incredibly uncomfortable. If the minimum hadn't been met they should have brought more food out. The tacos went pretty quickly and the mostly empty platters just sat there. In fact, the food should've been served when we got there. read more

Before COVID, I loved this place and would have given it 5 stars. My husband & I were big fans of their happy hour as we're vegetarian and they only serve their (vegetarian) pizza tostada during happy hour. We also love the cotija (vegetarian) tacos, so happy hour made the most sense for us. We supported them when they were temporarily closed by ordering to go from their website. Unfortunately, both times the cotija tacos just didn't taste the same. Odd. The vegetable guacamole was overpriced for the portion, in our opinion. The quesadilla was not as flavorful as the cotija tacos or the pizza tostada (which they were not offering for take out at that time). Once this location opened back up, we supported them during happy hour a couple times. The food was back to the level we remembered it had been - hooray! Unfortunately, the happy hour margaritas were really weak both times we went. The first time we went back, I ended up ordering 3 spicy margaritas just to see if the weakness in the first couple were a mistake. Sadly, not. I'm not even sure there was tequila in them. The next time we went, I only ordered the 1 spicy margarita and it was still really weak, mostly tasting like triple sec or something of the like - not like I recall it being before COVID. At least they still added the spicy seasoning to the rim. They are/were also charging $2 extra per person that dines in for the additional clean up/sanitation, which I understand. Overall, we probably won't be back for a while. The strong spicy margaritas were a selling point and now that those are weak and the happy hour time has been reduced by a half hour/ends a half hour earlier than it did pre COVID, it's just not worth us rushing out the door. I'm sad to leave this review as I couldn't wait for them to bring happy hour back; I would check their website & social media almost weekly so we could go back & support it. I ventured here last night to take full advantage of my buy one, get one deal in my Taco Passport and was not disappointed. We were able to snag a table on their popular patio, sitting in the chairs, surrounded by white strung lights and the sounds of popular Mexican tunes. The space is so inviting, comfortable and exudes the atmosphere for a street fair meets outdoor concert. Our server was attentive, friendly and didn't judge us when we ordered all five (yes 5) street tacos on the menu - because we wanted to sample them all. We started with traditional chips and salsa, with a special order of the rattlesnake chorizo queso - which was perfectly greasy, cheesy and just the right amount of spice. The tacos came out promptly, which were fresh and vibrant in color. My favorite? The beef cheek - by far. The meat is melt-in-your-mouth and so tender. My friend favored the beer battered jalapeno taco, while both of us found the sauce on the cotjia taco to taste funny. However, we devoured them all and saved room for dessert - and go for the churro! While we didn't imbibe on our visit, their drink list is impressive. It features different kinds of tequila and mezcal, specialty beers and sangria's. For the non drinkers, various flavors of Mexican soda are offered, sweet to the tastebuds. Happy hour is the busiest (and most popular) time to come for a drink, but highly recommended. Take it from me, as I've been here a handful of times to attest. Nice location and decent food in a primal area, I can see why this place is pretty busy! The service was good, the waiters/waitresses checked up on us very frequently. Their food was pretty good overall and reasonably priced. We ordered a few tacos and my favorite were the birria and the pork belly. They are definitely more of a modern version of a traditional street taco but it was good flavor. The drink menu is quite large and there are tons of drinks you can get from margaritas to beers. The watermelon margarita was very delicious we had to get a few ;) There is street parking and a parking garage near by with other shopping areas on the strip so it has a lot near by. The food it's ok, if you are sensitive to loud noises or have a family member that does, this is not the place to go to. My daughter has special needs, last time we came here the waiter was nice and did lower the music volume at least for the time we were there. This time when we kindly asked the staff member said that it was actually the lowest they could put it down because that's how their boss likes it. So no I do not recommend this place to anyone especially to families with children and families who have a loved one with special needs. read more

My husband and I wanted to check this place out for Cinco de Mayo. We knew everywhere would be packed due to the holiday. We got there and it was busy but there were a lot of empty tables. When we checked in they said it would be an hour to an hour and a half wait. I thought maybe they were short staffed so we killed some time and came back an hour later. Even though I hadn't received the text they were able to seat us. Our waiter was all over the place and it took a while to get our drink order in. I found out that if you check in on yelp you can get a free app. We did that and the manager approved it which was nice. We decided to get chips and queso which was good. I ordered a skinny margarita. The lime juice tasted like really old and super sour limes. The tacos were ok, I wasn't expecting much since it was Americanized Mexican food. It looks like they offer a great happy hour. The music was super loud! It was hard to talk to each other across the table. It felt like I was at a club. There was a point where they turned it down but it went back up again. We were eager to just get our food and go home by that point. read more

Good, not great. Really small portions for what you get. And seemingly too many people staffing the place. We were the only people dining here and they had like 6 waitresses lingering around. I couldn't help but think maybe they could reduce staff and the prices could drop a little. That being said our waitress was fantastic, helpful but not too intrusive. We had a chips and salsa flight and all were good. Smallest portion of salsas I have ever seen in my life though. My mom's enchiladas were delicious but only had two small enchiladas and no sides at all for about $12. That's too expensive for what one gets. Beans are cheap. Rice is cheap. I don't understand why they choose not to include sides. I got three happy hour tacos and they were all pretty good. The steak one was bad. Chewy gristly meat on mine. The pulled pork one was pretty great. The fried Cojita cheese one was quite spicy but I liked it. My husband loved his tacos. He got the same ones plus the popper one which he enjoyed. If the prices were lower I'd definitely be back, but right now I am turned off to this establishment. We could come here for happy hour tacos and I'd be happy. It's atmosphere isn't upscale enough to be great for a celebratory occasion and that's what it's regular prices feel like to me. read more
