My family and a friend's family had dinner here last Saturday. My friend's daughter said her steak had a funny taste and her father smelled it and confirmed it didn't smell good. He spoke to two managers and they refused to take it off the bill. My friend and his family eats here every week. My wife and I previously vowed not to eat here again after two previous issues. Our 1st visit was ok, 2nd and 3rd visits were poor. My 4th visit was this recent visit, which was unbelievable. The food is average quality, refried beans looked and tasted watered down with no flavor. I would rate the rice at a 3. The enchiladas were good. My wife has had so many bad experiences, she ordered chicken wings FROM A MEXICAN RESTAURANT. We're not food snobs, but when you're treated with bad service and dictated to spend your money for tainted food, I draw the line. We try to frequent local businesses but I will NOT be taken advantage of. To give some details about my frustrations. My negative visits were...I ordered chicken enchiladas, but they gave me pork. I sent it back, it came back the same. At this point I was ready to go. I asked to have it to go since it was taking over 1hr 45mins. When I got it home, it was beef. DUH HELL!!! Another visit, my wife's ordered steak tacos, long story short, they gave her a combo of meats AND had an attitude when told about it. I CAPITAL R .....REFUSE TO go here ever again. Treated myself for some takeout for Friday lunch! I ordered the shrimp fajitas, $15. Great price!! The shrimp and sautéed veggies were not seasoned so the meal came out just okay for taste. Staying at the Best Western nearby. In Atlanta for a movie. Wanted a margarita soon as I got off the plane. Saw this place and knew this is where I was going. Happy I did! Food was good. Had the Taquitos Mexicano and the Horchata Margarita. They were quick with the food too, didn't have to wait long at all. Great space, lots of room. At the time, you could only get take out so we made a pickup order. Everything was just ok. I'm a big guacamole fan and what they provided tasted like canned guacamole instead of fresh guac. Simple soup to go order. I called in myself. Missing the limes and tortillas that are supposed to come with order. Chips NASTY. So greasy. I've complained about that for years, don't understand why it's not corrected, after all, good chips need to be priority in this kind of restaurant. My fork was dirty and my cup too. I'm am beyond disappointed- and I been here twice. Then, I did ask for the 3 amigos tacos and I had asked for corn tortillas and I got flour, along with saying all sauces on the side and I got one sauce on the side and still another sauce on the tacos. I rushed my kids to eat the most they could and I wanted to leave. The quesadillas were not with queso chihuahua or mozzarella. It seemed to be made out of provolone. I've been pretty satisfied with this restaurant over the years. There were those hit or miss times when they would leave items off my order but that was mainly through Uber Eats. They are really suffering now due to the covid-19 restrictions so it's pretty empty in there nowadays. What I can tell you is once it gets back to normal, it's a great spot to grab a beer or margarita, kick back with friends and have some chips and salsa. I ordered a side salad and even pointed to it when ordering. It was a $6 salad. Whatever came was not what I ordered and I barely ate any of it. I usually would just eat what came but it wasn't even very good. I was going to let it go since we were never asked how the food was until it was too late, but then it showed up on the bill as a $12 salad (which is not even on the same page as what I ordered/pointed to). The waiter argued with me about it then only took off the $6 difference. So glad I paid $6 for a few bites of food. Mistakes happen and there was a bit of a language barrier, but the waiter was so rude and dismissive about it. She could not hear me because of loud music in the restaurant and didn't think enough to walk away so that my order could be taken, correctly. I go to the location to place the order. Order: 3 chicken SOFT tacos with only queso. I received them on hard shells with shredded cheese. I get them back on soft shells. Now, I'm having to explain my original order again and she (manager) basically tells me that the shredded cheese is what they use to make their queso so I should just take it or be charged the extra for the queso. I wait. I'm now brought (see image). After asking me to make sure my order is right, Manager walks away in disgust telling me to not worry about the extra $3+ for the melted shredded cheese. We enjoyed delicious margaritas and the warm chips and salsa with a bit of heat to it as we waited for our entrees. The Three Amigos tacos hit the spot.
