I lovveeee their chips and queso. It's $5 on Tuesday. The margaritas are good and strong. You definitely get your moneys worth when you order the pitcher. The shrimp quesadilla is another one of my go-tos when I go. I also had the tacos which are $2.50 on Tuesday. The chicken was good but i wish it had some kind of sauce. I put queso to add some flavor. The pork was nicely flavored. I would definitely recommend this place. You won't be disappointed!

Between customer service and pitiful mexican food I won't come back. The "Grilled" shrimp tacos was covered in coleslaw and drenched drenched in mayo. No seaoning on the shrimp. Let's start with why this quesadilla looks like a 5 year made it? Anyways I asked the woman if she could make with out onions she said no and then she told me the al pastor didn't have onions although it did. I called the place and told her about my dissatisfaction and she basically told me there is nothing she could do. Her words exactly were "When I go to a restaurant and don't like the food, I don't ask for a different plate of food I just don't go back" haha okay lady I won't be back. I came here for the convenience of not cooking dinner that night but for $40 we could of gone somewhere much better.

Went for lunch and had the carne asada tacos. 3 tacos with a pretty generous serving of carne asada & I really liked the tortilla. Our waitress was very nice & service was quick. Could definitely see myself coming back for a filling and appetizing lunch!

I ordered from here for the first time through DoorDash & it was great. I had been wanting to eat a wet burrito but haven't been out much since the pandemic started so I was a little hesitant about ordering from any place. However this place knocked it out of the park. Everything was separated so the burrito wasn't soggy when it arrived and it was huge, filling & delicious. I will definitely be ordering from here again. I also tried the guac and chips which I initially thought was a little pricey until I saw how much guac they actually send. Well worth the price. The only thing I did add was a little bit of lime which I didn't feel it didn't have enough of, but other than that, it was great tasting.

i have had this restaurant in my list but never actually go until last week. parking the restaurant is located in a smaller plaza within a supermarket plaza, parking should not be an issue if you dont mind walking a bit. there are some parkimg spot available in front of the restaurant but they are limited. most parking spots are behind the restaurant. food i order the wet burrito whoch i have been craving and had in my watch list for a long time. it did not disappoint, i ordered with carnitas meat (you can order any meat) and it was awesome. since there is no dine in for restaurants it was a to go order and the white cheese that covers it cokes on the side. i can say that the burrito tastes super good, the meat ia tasty and the white cheese gives the entire meal a bust. it comes with some chips. i ordered a quesadilla as well (for lunch next day) and it was also good. it had lots of chicken and it was marinated in some sort of spices that made it really tasteful, i will try it another time right away instead of after a night in the fridge. service the lady that took the order was super friendly and helpful when asked questions. they offer some daily specials and a big menu. atmosphere the place is pretty colorful and full of character, it looks very traditional for a Mexican restaurant. looking forward to come back as soon as we can actually dine out. if you never had a wet burrito before give this one a chance, you will not be disappointed. the only reason why i gave this place 4 stars is because they took really long to get my food ready. they said between 10-15 and it took about 25 minutes for it to be ready. last detail rhey sell the Mexican coca colas (they come in a glass bottle) that taste a little more authentic compared to the can ones or plastic bottled ones.

Cold tacos, the steak tacos looked like dog meat. No seasoning no flavor and they were so cold. To be charging 12% "TO-GO Fee" this place should be at least serving hot food.

The worst Mexican food I have ever tried if it can be called Mexican food, I ordered carne asada tacos and it was drenched in salsa inglesa, the tacos al pastor were terrible, food was cold, do not come to this place!!

    Chicken Tinga Tacos

There were three things that immediately bugged me about the menu at Los Tacos: 1. Chips and Salsa are $3.99 2. Guacamole and Chips are $10.90 (without an option for a side portion) 3. You cannot mix and match tacos. Plus, you don't really get a choice of toppings. What really bothered me most was having to commit to three of the same taco fillings, especially at a new restaurant. If you pick a filling you are not fond of, then you are stuck. Plus, part of the fun of eating tacos for me, is trying different fillings. Most of the taco places in the area (including El Agave Azul, Salsa Fiesta, B.C., etc.) do let one mix & match. So under pressure I decided on the Chicken Tinga Tacos ($10.90): tacos filled with shredded chicken breast in tomato chipotle sauce. The three tortillas were jam packed with chicken and topped with chopped onions. They were served with sauce on the side. The seasoning on the chicken, though, did not thrill me. I also would have liked some lettuce and tomato which were not offered. 10 year old made a much better choice with Los Sopes with Carne Asada filling ($10.90). 10 year old asked for the little dough caps without beans, but they were topped with lettuce, tomato, pico de gallo, cheese, and sour cream. Absolutely delicious combination of flavors! We did order the chips and salsa but they never got to us. Oh well, I guess we saved some money money and calories! Other than that blip, service was seamless. The servers were friendly and once we ordered our food was out in less than five minutes. This place is certainly not for fine dining. It is very small, with a bar and a few tables for two. The decor is very festive with lots of bright colors. I might just have picked the wrong taco filling for my taste buds. I'm sure there are plenty of other options I might like. However, I'm not sure I'm ready to invest $10.90 on three tacos every time I want to try a different filling. With so many other taco places abounding in West Broward, it might be a while before I return to Los Tacos.

I stopped in recently after hearing that "I Love Tacos" widely known for its authentic Mexican was opening a new location east of 75 on Pembroke Rd under the name "Los Tacos by Chef Omar" I've tried the Pines location and agree its as popular as it is authentic. Its always packed so an alternate location seems right except this one is quite small and located in somewhat of a crappy rundown stripmall. The food I thought was great, no different than my experience at its other location however this is not the type of place you'll come in to eat with a family comfortably. Its only bar seating and slightly limited in space. I went on a Saturday afternoon and was fine but I can see where a packed establishment would be uncomfortable for dine in. I've returned since then for takeout and I admit its grown on me a bit, the place is cute. It is what it is and as long as the food is good I can't complain. Is it my favorite Mexican for a nice sit down dinner with the friends and fam? No; but definitely not a bad option if I'm hangry for some tacos.

There were seven of us for Taco Tuesday, and from the moment we sat down, our waitress seemed irritated that she had to serve our table. We ordered quickly because we already knew what we wanted. I ordered four Birria tacos on corn tortillas ($19.00) and a michelada ($9.90). Everyone else's food came out correctly, but mine did not. The tacos were clearly served on flour tortillas instead of corn. I politely pointed out the mistake and asked for them to be replaced. Instead of correcting the order, the waitress brought back the exact same plate and looked me in the eye while insisting they were corn tortillas. They absolutely were not, and my friends confirmed the same. I refused to eat them and ended up taking them home for my daughter. What makes this especially upsetting is that this isn't just about getting an order wrong--mistakes happen. The problem is that the restaurant chose to lie rather than fix it. If this had been a customer with a gluten allergy or celiac disease, the consequences could have been serious. Serving the wrong food is one thing; knowingly trying to pass it off as something it isn't is completely unacceptable and incredibly irresponsible.

Parking was a bit challenging due to the limited number of spaces, but once we walked inside, the experience more than made up for it. We were warmly greeted by Carolina, who also became our server. She was incredibly patient and took her time walking us through the menu, explaining each dish and how everything is prepared. Her dedication to customer satisfaction truly stood out, and we hope management recognizes what an asset she is. Carolina proudly shared that every item on the menu is made in‑house, and it absolutely shows. My wife ordered the Quesadilla de Pollo with a side of Arroz Mexicano and couldn't stop talking about the exceptional flavors. I chose the Tostada al Pastor, a small Tortilla Soup, and a side salad. Everything was delicious, but the Tortilla Soup was the star of the meal--a perfect example of why in‑house preparation matters. Since we're not from the area, we weren't sure where to go for lunch, and we truly lucked out choosing Don Maguey--and having Carolina as our server. Thank you, Carolina. When I looked 20 minutes after at my credit card statement read I had been charged $77 and change pending a potential tip on top of that, even with tip included it is still over approximately $7 what I signed off for. We called to determine the prices of each individual meal and "the manager" was stumbling to tell us the prices for everything. Even with the fake numbers that were given to us it still didn't add up correctly. I remember the prices for the 3 meals my family and I ordered and I remember what the check said. I let it be because maybe they need more than I do. As for the food, I'm born and raised on the border of Mexico and although I must say it does scream authenticity especially on appearance the meat is bland, and that "Mexican rice" is by far the worst tasting rice I've had. For a casual person that likes Mexican food you may like it, but if you know what you're tasting you will not. Also, they didn't have 4 different things on the menu available ultimately leading me to have to go with my 5th option. It is very expensive for what it is, and even more expensive when your waitress manipulates the system.
