Right across the street from Bonito Michoacán Mexican Restaurant I think this is an underrated spot. I got the chicken Huarache which was Puebla style, it was really good paired well with the cheese it was topped off with. Food had a lot of flavor. They have to the side a cart with an assortment of sauces you can pair your meals with, sauces were okay. There was plenty of seating inside and some outside as well. Prices were good as portions were big. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for good Mexican food Puebla style. We didn't wait too long for our food and place was clean. read more

Ordered a breakfast burrito for $10 and was told it came with bacon, potatoes, egg, cheese and pico. It didn't have bacon and when I went to let them know they advised it doesn't because some people don't want bacon..... Well I did and instead of remaking it, they gave me 3 pieces of bacon on the side smh. Won't be returning here for sure. 2 breakfast burritos and a large Jamaica for $28 smh read more

So was in the mood try new taco shop in Vegas. Ended up at Tacos La Mexicana for lunch with my old roommate. It was my first time. The minute walk in feel Mexico vibes. The decor inside got all the vibes from the little details and fact on one side hug map of Mexico covers that wall. The music playing while we were eating was legit. I love places with personality. We ended up getting the lunch special. 4 tacos your choice of protein comes with rice and beans. I ended up going with 2x tripa 2x asada. Both really good! I would order again. The freshly made salsa was da bomb! I feel salsa stands out more then other spots been in Vegas. They have least three different types that u get ur own at salsa bar. The price point is super cheap under $10 and filling with rice and beans plus couple chips. The only other times seen similar lunch specials only get 3x. So lunch special no way can go wrong. I've finally had it with this place! I just ordered $30+ worth of food, all with carne asada. It tasted like liver. I've had bad Mexican food, but none that was inedible. This just landed in the trash. It has to be a challenge to make food this bad. So pissed right now!!! read more

Dining area and bathroom were clean. Food was meh, didn't have a wow factor especially after a long drive from Utah. We ordered the asada nachos and two tacos. Both of which needed seasoning. The salsas helped a little but didn't do much. I typically prefer the red salsa but I definitely recommend the green here. The red salsa was really runny and wasn't spicy. The only thing I really liked was the fresh jalapeños! Note: for the nachos and two tacos she only gave us 1 salsa, we had to ask for more. For nachos and two tacos it was under $14. I guess it's not too too bad. Back in OC/LA you can get street tacos for $1-$1.50 so for others can be expensive. read more

While visiting Las Vegas from California, we decided to order GrubHub to our hotel. We stumbled across this place for an early morning meal. On the menu, I saw the lunch specials and decided to order the burrito lunch special and the torta lunch special. As it is a bit difficult to know what is in the burrito, since it did not say on the GrubHub app, I wrote in the description what I wanted. A carnitas burrito with beans, rice, sour cream cilantro and onions is exactly what came! Not to mention, it comes with a side of french fries, which I asked to replace for chips and salsa and a soda that they generously replaced with horchata upon request. The torta meal was delicious as well and the portion size was decent. I am genuinely impressed in the quality of the food and the flexibility of completing my order with it's special requests. I will definitely be ordering again next time I get return to Vegas! read more

I've never had Mexican food this bad. I ordered carne asada tacos, just terrible. No flavor in the meat. Their salsas suck. I'm leaving a 1 star because this place is filthy. I saw a live roach in the middle of the floor. Like I know the cashier saw it too, but I don't think they cared at all. Avoid this place at all costs, there are way better Mexican restaurants in Las Vegas than this shitty place. read more

Oh my goodness I saw this place busy when I drive by and someone at my work said that they got a breakfast burrito there so I thought I'd stop there after work and get some food. I was absolutely blown away when I first discovered Tacos La Mexicana. Chinatown is a bit of a dead zone for authentic Mexican food, for obvious reasons; there isn't so much as a Roberto's around these parts. Imagine how surprised and happy I was, then, when I discovered TLM and its delicious rolled tacos and elote at a reasonable price. They put Roberto's to shame..... ...when they're actually on point. I'm a Tacos La Mexicana regular now, and it seems like they've just stopped carrying elote, yet they keep it listed on their menu. On top of that, there's always the odd visit where my order gets screwed up so royally that I question why I evangelize about this place to my friends and family. Even when the order gets screwed up, though, it gets screwed up with food that manages to be as delicious as what I'd come in to order, so...uh...hooray, I guess? In short, this place is still miles ahead of not only any of the other authentic Mexican spots in Chinatown, but in Las Vegas in general. Still, I wish they would take stuff they're no longer selling off their menu because I'm a glutton for punishment and will continue coming in asking for something that's on the menu even if I know damn well that I'm bound to be disappointed until they cover that item up with tape or remove it entirely. read more

Visited restaurant for the first time. Ordered Carne asada tacos to go. We live 5 minutes away and tacos were cold when we got home. Taco shells were soggy and wet. Meat lacked flavor, reminded me of dog food in appearance. We love tacos and we're highly disappointed with Tacos La Mexicana. Green sauce was good but that's about it. Won't be trying anything else on the menu after this experience. read more

When a group of us were craving tacos this weekend, Tacos La Mexicana proved to be a short, worthwhile walk from my apartment. The staff was friendly, the prices were great, the menu was lengthy, and the food was delightful. I had three rolled tacos (only beef and cheese, no sour cream or guac - don't judge me); next time I'll order six! They satisfied my appetite but left me feeling excited to return for more. My partner ordered elote, which was also delicious. I highly recommend stopping by Tacos La Mexicana for a quick food run or when you want to chat with friends and family over burritos! read more

Definitely not the best or even near good tacos. I got the al pastor tacos and the meat was more orangey looking than red. I also got the horchata and it was very watered down. My dad got the chicken burrito and the meat is not that good and flavorful. Prices were reasonable. The place is pretty clean and staff were very kind. read more

Definitely a no for me. Tacos were dry and bland. The sauce tasted way too sour. It was like the ingredients were expired or something. This place used to be better when Roberto was the owner. I think the new owners don't have as good customer service and cooking skills. Not wearing masks either. Save your money go elsewhere. read more

This is unacceptable. Once I have gotten my food there were rat feces in my food, my children have gotten sick from eating rat uraine and tiny little feces in our tacos. I would like to see the owner in court. Last time I went here I saw multiple chairs broken and the employees are rude, there shouldn't be tiny feces and uraine in this environment you so call restaurant. After this, walked out the restaurant and seen homeless people and thugs no offense, this is absolutely disgusting behavior. Was craving tacos with my friends and I'm newer to this area, so did a quick google search. Found this little gem. Got a burrito plate, three tacos, three rolled tacos, and horchata for under $25!
