I ordered the baja fish tacos and shredded beef rolled tacos to go. Not a big fan...the food was pretty bland. They had a nice salsa and pickled veggie (carrots/onions) bar, but that didn't help the overall flavor of the food. I'm giving this place a 2 for food but added another star because the customer service was great!

This taco stand is our reliable "we're hungry and don't want to be disappointed" spot The California burrito is elite. Hearty, flavorful, and dangerous in the best way because you'll want to order it every time Salsa bar won't disappoint as well. The are solid across the board. No weird misses. Just good food done right The staff is always friendly and fast, which makes the whole experience feel easy and low stress Outdoor seating with Pete is our go-to move

Have had pretty good experiences before but yesterday went for some tacos and drove about 5 minutes away to eat and open the box and this is how my tacos came 1 box has 1 taco with 4 tortillas and the other box the meat wasn't even on the taco. And when I noticed I wasn't rung up on my agua fresca after placing a phone order the lady still had a little attitude and wasn't my fault. Not happy with their service.

Los Tacos is one of my favorite taco shops in North County. They are so delicious. The staff here is very friendly and this location feel very clean. They have a couple of fun drinks, and their happy hour menu is great! Al pastor is my all time favorite protein, and their Al pastor was great!

I like the consistency of this place, the tacos & salsa are always fire. The guys working are always kind and great to interact with. You can tell they care about the food and customers.

Made a quick pitstop at this location for some Al pastor and carnitas tacos. Just as good as the Carlsbad location. I highly recommend!

I was really excited to try this place! I ordered a California burrito and paid to add sour cream and guacamole, not only that but I requested extra of both. I think they may have added a minuscule drop of sour cream and NO guacamole, otherwise there was nothing but dry, chewy, old meat and potatoes and maybe a tiny pinch of cheese. Such a pet peeve of mine when my order is wrong and a really bad first impression - will also be the last. Waste of $15+ for garbage. Threw it away and ordered from a real Mexican food establishment that knows how to make a burrito.

They have the best molcajete and fajitas around, at the best prices. We are here just to see if Cocina Del Mar is better. Long story short: it's not. However, their ceviche is AMAZING. Best ceviche I have had in north county San Diego outside of Dija Mara (which has the best ceviche in the known universe). It is extremely fresh and not overpowered by acidity, fishy smells or rubbery shrimp. The ceviche here is legit. Great. AND ONLY $10 (for cameron). If you order anything here, get the ceviche first. I'm anxious to try their aguachile now. We also ordered the fajitas ("suprema" with chicken, steak and shrimp). Fajitas did not come out sizzling at all. I have never seen this before. Also, there were only two shrimp. The steak/carne was bland and dry. Not great. Wife ordered the Sopes (3) and mother ordered the Enchiladas Cameron. The sopes were okay, but a bit bland. Wife had to salt everything on the plate. The enchiladas had a sauce my mom said was too sweet. She wasn't a fan. For all three dishes to be a miss is completely strange considering the sheer number of 5-star reviews. I want to believe. We must have come on an off-day, but the place was busy. Quite a few larger parties were here, so this place is popular with the natives. We also grabbed a Model and a Corona. Only $5 for the beers! Total for everything came to $117.64 (with tip). I would absolutely come back for the ceviche and to give them another shot by trying a different dish. I snapped pics of the menu so you can see the latest prices. Check it out.

It's a true family-style operation--one owner personally takes your order while the other is in the kitchen cooking everything fresh, and you can taste that attention to detail in every bite. Since then we've been visiting other burrito places, but decided to give them another shot. We were pleasantly surprised to see things were "back to normal". Burritos were big again and the salsa bar was back. Chips were no longer free (I remember they used to be a long time ago), but no biggie. We were just picked up to-go. The burritos were good. Not great, necessarily, but good and the prices are some of the best around. They have a ton of options, and lots of drinks, including beer. We were just picking up, and it was a very hot day. The restaurant didn't have any air-conditioning so it was quite warm inside. Most people were eating outside. We'll be back again to try some other menu items given that their prices are generally pretty good.

As a Cali Native now living in…read morethe great state of Texas, sometimes it's refreshing to step outside the land of Tex‑Mex and get the real deal again. Colima's hits that spot every single time. When you walk in, the person behind the counter greets you immediately -- and not the dry "hi, what can I get you?" type of greeting. You get a full "¡Buenos días, mija!" with that warm, almost‑grito energy that makes you feel like you just walked into your tío's spot instead of a restaurant. Super friendly, super natural, and very SoCal. I ordered the rolled tacos plate and wow... esa porción estaba gigante. I couldn't finish it. What I loved most was the meat; this is what meat is supposed to taste like. The beef was seasoned the way we grew up eating it: a little salty, a little savory, with that slow‑cooked tenderness that lets you know it didn't come from some pre‑bagged, mystery‑meat situation. You get hints of garlic, a little cumin, and that warm, almost toasty flavor that comes from meat that's actually been browned, not steamed. It tasted like someone's abuela was in the back saying, "No, no, déjalo dorar un poquito más. And the corn tortillas? Perfect. Thin enough to get that crisp roll, thick enough not to shatter. None of that flour‑tortilla‑trying‑to‑be‑crispy nonsense. These were crunchy, flavorful, and loaded. The toppings were just as good. The guacamole tasted fresh. You could taste the real avocado which was creamy, a little chunky, with lime that actually tasted like lime and not concentrate. The red salsa had a legit kick to it. It had hints of roasted chiles, was smoky and had a slightly bitter edge that tells you they actually roasted them instead of just tossing raw peppers into a blender. It wasn't tourist spicy; it was SoCal Mexican‑restaurant spicy, which is a whole different category. My partner ordered a breakfast burrito and honestly? That thing could've fed three people. It was massive, stuffed to the brim with cheese, egg, potatoes, and fresh bacon and exactly what a SoCal breakfast burrito should be: simple, hearty, and no shortcuts. Between the portions, the flavor, and the service that feels like home, this spot stays on my list every time I'm in Oceanside. If you're craving real Mexican food and not Tex‑Mex, pull up. You'll leave full and happy. #supportlocal
