I had their birria tacos and my husband had a carne asada burrito and we both came home with the worst food poisoning. I've never thrown up even while being pregnant. I vomited my whole meal and so did my husband. don't come here at the end of the day when all the bacteria has been sitting around on their food. We're currently still suffering. read more

Really disappointed! I'm trying not to be sick as I write this!! Although maybe I would be better off to get this bad & disgusting food out of me. My husband ordered al pastor taco combo plate which was so-so. The tacos tasteless except for spicy salsa, rice ok and beans like mud. The rolled tacos inedible. I think even cheese on top was spoiled & guacamole an unrecognizable substance. We ordered to go or I'd return it all but rather will never go back even tho it's a convenient location. Have been to the one on Vista Way which is better. And thought they were related to Grubbys in Carlsbad which is good. I'd avoid this place at all costs! This was my first time at Los Tacos. It took over the Daphne's location which is the reason I drove here. I decided to give them a try. I ordered the El Pastor taco since the menu said it was one of their most popular tacos. The Mr. got a chicken burrito and a side of guac. He ordered a drink and I had water. Our total was just over $17 for one taco, one burrito, side of guac, and one soda. So I figured it was going to be amazing. Pros: The staff were pleasant and the food came out fast. There is a great bar to load up on different salsas/sauces to jazz up your food. The place is clean and well cared for. Cons: The taco is small. Think street taco. Tiny! The guac was fresh and pineapple sweet but the meat was flavorless and sparse. My Mr.'s burrito was (his words) "sad" and he had to remove the limp lettuce. He ended up only eating half. What a disappointment. We will never be back. read more

Los Tacos. Where to begin? So first of all these burritos are melt in your mouth delicious. They have hands down the best tortillas I have ever had. I'm not sure if they make them in house or not but they are phenomenal. The carne asada in the Cali burrito. Also to die for. And the way they melt the cheese perfectly without making the tortilla too crispy is something else. The hot sauce is one of the best hot sauces I've ever had. The spicy red and spicy green are both amazing. Lastly and maybe most importantly is the service. The crew working here is so nice. Ordered two shrimp tacos with no cabbage. Guess what was on my tacos? You guessed it, cabbage. And only 2 shrimp on one and 3 shrimp on the other taco. Pretty lame. Horrible tasteless food! The tacos have meat, beans, guacamole and sour cream. The carne asada is NOT carne asada it's more like chewy beef. Gross! No cilantro, no onions?!?!? Definitely not good tacos. $2.55/each Quesadilla- Absolutely disappointing! Flour tortilla with YELLOW cheese. What is that? They are supposed to use mozzarella or Monterrey Jack but not Kraft singles. To make matters worse the chewy meat was only in the middle and the yellow cheese doesn't even cover the entire tortilla. Burrito- tasteless! Put a little salt at least. Rice, beans and chewy meat cut into big chunks. The lady at the register not friendly at all. She wasn't too pleased when I asked what they put in their tacos. Don't eat here! Had coupons for Los Tacos, 3480 Marron rd, today (10-10-17). Ordered 2 fish tacos, 2 Al Pastor, and 1 Carne Asada. They are all small street tacos. Picked 4 different salsa from medium to hot. After eating the tacos and salsa, we were not impressed. Not a lot of favor. When you compare these tacos to Rubio's or $2 fish tacos at San Luis Mexican Food, there is NO COMPARISON in size or FAVOR. Los Tacos fish tacos tasted old and very little batter. The Carne Asada tacos were " chewy". The salsas were not very good, except the green one. Two of them taste old and on the bitter side. Would we buy tacos there again. NO! Ate here for the first and last time today. I ordered a Carne Asada burrito which is over priced at $8.25 as it is. I ordered it with cheese only, which they charged $1 more without telling me. I found out by looking at the receipt. My wife got a bean and cheese burrito with chips. All our food was bland with no flavor. The seating arrangement is not well thought out. There is one huge table that could probably seat 12 people, along with 5 other tables. I doubt people will bring large families to eat here. More smaller tables would make more sense. read more

For me when in southern California a trip out here is void without getting a California burrito. Was staying in Carlsbad so opened up Grubhub and this place came up. I must admit after eating this my craving was not satisfied. The carne was just ok and had pieces that were not edible. It did have the fries though and a different twist with the pica. The other twist that sold me was it was advertised to have hot melting cheese. As you may tell from the picture that was missing. It was delivered in a bag and not a container so maybe that is why. That being said as you can see it was a large burrito. The other miss and not sure if this was on the delivery service or the establishment but it is my belief that what conpletes the Cali burrito experience is the hot sauces and they were not delivered. That could be on me for not including in special instructions. If I order from here again it will be something else on the menu and save the burrito for a local taco shop because this one needed more flavor. read more

I've been to the Los Tacos location off Vista Way a few times and this one recently opened and closer to home so I decided to check it out. Place was very clean and well kept and cashier was very friendly. I ordered the choriqueso tacos which are chorizo tacos with melted cheese on the bottom topped with cilantro and onions. Tacos were great! Tortillas tasted fresh and chorizo was nicely cooked and crispy. Workers were also very attentive gradually checking in on us and also taking our plates. Thank you! Ok, I'm glad we have some descent restaurants moving into our neighborhood. We now have Smash Burger, Poki Poki, and Jamba Juice, and I had high hopes for this taco place. First of all, they charge a 50 cent credit card fee, which is just ghetto. I feel like I'm getting gas at AM/PM. They should just price this in or just not accept credit cards like a real, authentic taco place and put an ATM machine by the door. Secondly, they have a McDonalds type of register that takes forever to order anything. My order took 7.6 minutes because my daughter wanted a carne asada burrito with only beans and cheese. There was a big line of pissed off people waiting to order tacos for Taco Tuesday. Taco Tuesday prices are good - $1.50 for street tacos. I ordered 4 of them for $6. It's weird that they sprinkle cheese and beans on top, but whatever. Their carne asada meat is a little different. I'm just used to the cubed/sliced flank steak. I don't know what they use, but it's all splintered and look more like carnitas (pork). It's all shredded. It tastes pretty good, but it threw my six year old off because she just picks the big pieces of meat off to eat them (This is not the seven year old that ordered the burrito). So I had to go next door and get my six year old an Acai bowl from Jamba juice. Their hot sauces are pretty good. This is the only reason that I gave this place two stars. I hope they don't change the recipe. Typically, people start complaining that it's too hot, and restaurants start altering their hot sauces, and it becomes crap. My wife went back and got a California burrito. She said that it was pretty good. I went with her, but got a poki bowl next door instead. Hopefully, this place improves. Maybe I'll try again down the road. BTW, the carne asad burrito with just meat, beans, and cheese for my seven year old was over $9 before taxes. read more

Just went to King Burrito, couldn't finish my California Burrito because tortilla lacked freshness, lacked meat, and the little bit of meat that was there lacked flavor. It was a really dry burrito and even adding hot sauce didn't help. I came here right after with a ruined appetite and got two carne Asada tacos. Tortillas smelled great and were soft, meat was juicy and flavorful, had fresh guac (I can tell because I had a delicious chunk of avocado which indicates they hand make the guac) and it was overflowing with meat which is an awesome problem to have. Next time I'm here I'm going to ask for my tacos without the beans on top, wasn't a fan of frijoles on my tacos. read more

I said I would give a review But unfortunately it is not good. I just ordered a Local Burrito only because my grandson turned me on to it a couple of weeks ago. The only difference is the first burrito was out of the Temecula store On Temecula pkwy. that was Excellent. The burrito I bought today from this Los Tacos was close to inedible, took a couple of bites and threw it away. The pastor meat had to have been from yesterday or older, the French fries was probably also from yesterday...soggy. No flavor. I suggest this location give Temecula a call for some suggestions. Los Tacos in Oceanside is the bomb. Their Tacos Al Pastor (5 for 8) daily special is purely a delicious delight! I ordered the Carnitas and it was purely amazing!
