We opted to sit outside their raised patio and it was nice out. They weren't too busy, maybe a couple tables inside with guests. After we came, people started trickling in as well and sat outside. We were seated right away and needed a couple more minutes to look over the menu. After that, it took the young waiter awhile to get back to us and I went to the bathroom I saw him standing and just conversing with another coworker. No problem because another worker named Juan ended up coming to the rescue and was our waiter the whole time from start to finish. He was very attentive and checked up on his often so he was super friendly. Thank you, Juan! We ordered some cocktails (hibiscus margarita and Mexican mule) but they were more so just sweet and I honestly didn't taste any alcohol. They offer complimentary chips and salsa which is nice and Juan even refilled that for us. We ordered carne asada loaded fries, fiesta platter with all beef, and quesabirria tacos. Not going to lie they are on the pricier side but given the location of tourists it is understandable. But the good thing is it tastes just like local Mexican drive thrus like back in SD. They brought out extra hot sauce that I requested. They mentioned 1 was mild and the other was spicy. There was a nice kick and both were well flavored and not just watery and tasteless. We really enjoyed all the food items we got. We would definitely be back!

The rice was not traditional Mexican rice and did have a bit of a crunch to it rather than a toast before cooking. The beans were just plain pinto beans, not refried beans, but they were good. This is hands down one of the best items on the menu. I usually get chicken but here I prefer steak. It's a flavor bomb. It's savory, it's tangy, smoky, and has a nice caramelized char w/ notes of citrus. It's all meat with very little veggies. Sadly, the rice was bland today and lacked flavor and the beans were borderline salty for me. I mixed it together to balance them and enjoyed it with some chips and salsa.

Worst service ever and food! We ordered 15 tacos and asked the person at the register that my family and I did not want onions, cilantro (Pico de Gallo). I confirmed with him 2 different times that we only wanted meat and guacamole. When we received our order it had onions and cilantro (Pico del Gallo). My wife and I approached the the person who took our order and explained that our order was wrong and he confirmed that his cook didn't follow the order as he wrote it, he explained that they were at fault since we made it clear that we didn't want Pico de Gallo. The manager then approached us and took our plates and began to pick out the pico de Gallo with his fingers. he was clearly upset and told us that the order was to big to redo. I explained to him that it was unprofessional what he was doing especially because his own employee took fault and clearly understand our orders were wrong. We spent $40 plus and he fingered our entire order. He refused to give us a refund. We took it as a loss. During this time my son ate his taco and didn't finish it since it was nasty and not authentic food as they promote. we let them keep our fingers tacos and money. we will never be back, unprofessional and dirty. read more

Don't ever buy a single chip from them.. I was told they were very good, so i wanted to give them a try. I ordered super nachos and I got nacho fries... I politely went back to tell them i had ordered nachos, not fries, and the older man cooking yelled at me and said that's what you ordered!!,I said.. but you didn't even take my order and you were in the other room, so how would you know what i ordered? he said I'll give you you're money back. I dont want my money, i want what i asked for.. he said, you have to pay for it again!!! i asked for the supervisor's phone number , and he said i'm not giving you the number!! I got my money and stormed out, he didn't even give me the entire money back, but I guess I can't expect to much from someone that apparently can't read. I didn want to go back to see his face, so he kept the rest of my money. It would not allow me to skip the star rating part, so I had to give them 1 star in order to say it is definately the absolute worse customer experience I've ever had. A friend of mine had mentioned it was a good place for tacos and I wanted to check it out, but the older cook is a total jerk. I asked for one of their menu items and the cashier told me the cook did not want to make it... I've never heard of such thing, ever!!! They should have small print under every menu item saying... I was fortunate to have enjoyed some of the best Mexican food in Temecula at los tacos fast mexican food . Their food is authentic and incredibly affordable. I'm a big fan of their alPastor tacos, which are always cooked to perfection with the addition of pineapple - it's truly delicious! Their salsas are also top-notch. While I've only dined here a few times, the quality has been consistently excellent, and I find myself craving their food often. If you're in Temecula, I highly recommend checking out this place. I'm a regular at this Temecula taco shop and it was rediculos how the cook didn't want to answer a simple question and gave the cashier a hard time. I asked for two burritos and to be bagged separate when I received them I ask which one was which because they weren't marked and the young lady ask the cook and he said in Spanish he can open it and the young lady apologized for his attidued never have I been treated like this before, the cashier was great ask her for his name and it's Ivan. Los Tacos Is the best Mexican food restaurant I've been to. The other Mexican restaurants that id tried it would have allot of Grease in the tacos. It would have a clump of cheese they didn't spread it out or care for the taco. But at Los Tacos They Take good care of the Tacos they serve. Our favorite fast food Mexican in town! Authentic and delicious with generous portions and the cashier is so nice. She's always offering extras for our toddler like beans and rice at no additional charge. We've been coming here for years and have yet to be disappointed. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Jessie, who was super friendly and welcoming. The staff is super nice and everyone will talk to you and assist you, even the chefs! The vibe was super chill and service was excellent. We had the Posole, Albondigas soup, a Mulita and a Queso taco. Absolutely fantastic! Very authentic and approved by the family. The prices to portions are excellent, too. Their salsas are delicious, too and you know it's all about the salsa! We'll definitely be back when we visit the family!

They do not skimp on portions, and you can tell they take real pride in what they serve. The customer service also stands out.
