3.5 stars. We'd heard so much about this place and decided to try it for the first time. Let me start by saying the refried beans and rice were the best I've ever had. I would gladly go back just for those. They were amazing. The staff was friendly and efficient, restrooms clean and such a fun little environment. The guacamole was yucky. It was a runny consistency and nothing but smashed avocados with no seasoning, onions, lime juice, etc. Big disappointment for a place with such raving reviews. Also, the carne asada was more gristle than meat, the chicken had very little flavor, but the carnitas was amazing. Came here a few times, I really liked their tacos. The quality of the meat is definitely better than some of the others around the area. Recently I ordered a Cali Burrito, and was charged an extra dollar just for sour cream making it a $10+ burrito. It seemed kind of disingenuous they would do that without descriptions or notes on their menu, especially since sour cream is not a premium ingredient like guac is. I ordered lunches for a corporate meeting. I wanted everyone at the lunch to have their own packaged lunch so I ordered the 3 taco combo plate for everyone. I was afraid it would look messy or untidy, but each meal was very appetizing and neat when they opened the lid to their meal. Omg we arrived in temecula on Friday the 15th of July 2016 and looked up a Mexican tacos, Yelp gave this place high stars, so off we went and had the best tacos in California, the crew was awesome and the meats cooked perfect, the salsa from spicy to whimpy and man o man 5 stars from your truly real 100% pure Mexican that had the best tacos ever!!! Every time I visit temecula I come to this place. Their food is always excellent and the staff is always very friendly

I ordered the vegetarian burrito and it was not good. There was no guacamole on it and when I told the girl at the counter she said you just can't see it. It is in there. She gave some watery past that was not great. I put it on there and looked while eating. They never did put guacamole on the burrito. When dealing with a vegetarian without guacamole it is pretty boring. Server was not too polite. People tell me how good it is and not a good first time experience. $9 for a boring burrito that I threw one third of it away. The tortillas are really good and the tacos looked much better. Tried this place out because of the good Yelp reviews. Was really disappointed because the burrito was a lot smaller than regular sized Mexican burritos. The burrito was not filled with the normal bean, rice, lettuce, tomatoes and guacamole that one finds in typical Mexican burritos. It had a lot of cabbage instead! Not really sure if this is authentic but do not think so. Also. Very soggy burrito. In addition, the worst was that I found a piece of meat in my vegetarian burrito!! The lady didn't even know is the beans had Lard in them or not. Not a good place for vegetarians. Would have put 2 stars but the sauces weren't bad so I gave it 3 stars. read more

Huge stuffed burritos that are so big you can't finish in one sitting. Delicious tacos with tender meat. Even better salsa. I've gone to Los Tacos several times and I've never regretted it. My only complaint is that the fish is a bit greasy, so I don't recommend the fish burrito. Definitely try the cabeza taco though! PS: Make sure to get some of the spiciest orange salsa. Came in to grab some roll tacos and they only sell them by 3s. So I said ok How much for 3 roll tacos and they said 10 bucks! Wow, I'm from San Diego where the taco shops are the best in the state and down there I can grab a whole order of 12 roll tacos with guacamole, cheese and lettuce for 10 bucks, here they wanted that but for 3! I ordered a Camarones ala Diabla burrito(spicy shrimp burrito) it wasn't too bad but it was not spicy at all. It was like a regular shrimp burrito. Not sure if that's how they make them or they just forgot to add the sauce. My BF ordered chicken tacos and the chicken was so dry. A third person ordered a carne asada burrito and said it wasn't very good. The cashier looked like she didn't want to be there, kept rushing us and the cook wasn't wearing a face mask even though it is now required. I have gone here before and it was ok! Tonight I wanted to go to a different spot down the road but my wife insisted. I went there. I order food and it was 43$. 43$ for 2 burritos 1 taco and a quesadilla!! Then I went back up there and looked at the receipt and it was definitely not what I said. Then tried to argue liked I messed up. So gave me a refund for the mess up and charged me for a simple taco. IM DONE WITH THIS PLACE NEVER AGAIN!!! Never again! Los Tacos in my humble opinion is very, very good. Their food is awesome and their customer service is amazing. We always feel like family when we are there and we are always greeted with a smile. After a nice hike in the high desert, my boyfriend and I needed tacos. I am Mexican so I know a good traditional taco when I see one; and Los Tacos definitely did not disappoint. They have abuelita handmaking tortillas in the front. And the pastor stick slow cooking in the back. They have a salsa bar (the tomatillo green Chile one was my fav) as well!!! The staff was super friendly and the manager even check in toward the end to see if we needed anything else. I wish they has Los Tacos next to my home. Driving through and decided to try this spot out. Walking in, it has a good vibe to it more modern than a Mexican restaurant feel. You can see the cook preparing and cooking the food behind the cashier. The tortillas look great along with the salsa bar! The Horchata is good here and the tacos as well. The lengua meat could of been softer though. The price was a little too pricey for Mexican food. I had no issues with the customer service on my visit, but also came in right after people finished their order. Parking is tight, but not too bad. read more

This place has high quality food. It is a little on the pricey side, but the portions are decent. They also have a wide-variety of homemade salsas that are all very yummy. We come here every now and then on our way to go shooting for the day to grab a burrito to split. We usually get the carne asada, sometimes the al pastor. Both are delicious. My only issue with the place is the fact that we always ask to substitute the guacamole on the burrito for beans or rice instead and we end up getting charged. I am not sure why we get charged to add one item to the burrito when we typically eliminate one to three other items (especially when the cost of guacamole is higher than rice or beans). read more

Been here twice, the first time the food was good. Ordered some breakfast burrito and pollo asado burrito...tasted fine. This time around we ordered the same thing as well as some chicken rolled tacos. The breakfast burrito was okay, just had a little too much cheese, the chicken burrito and rolled tacos was a different story. As much as i love this place i cant give it more than a one star rating, they are breaking health codes by not having their cooks wear gloves, its rather disgusting seeing the cook touch chicken, meat, tortilla, and then wipe the sweat off his forehead without even washing his hands, guess to them and their customers wiping your hands on your apron after all that is acceptable huh. If you want to eat somewhere that is low class and dirty, then you found the right place. I went to eat here for lunch for the first time and Never again!!! The cook handled the food with his hands then he touched the dirty baskets. Never washed his hands, then he staked another basket on top of an open burrito. I am sure they do not even wash these baskets correctly, they prob just rinse it. But even if they washed these baskets correctly, no matter how much you wash these plastic baskets, they are not clean enough to go directly on top of your food. I guess they have never heard of proper sanitation. I am surprised they have not been shut down yet! read more
