    Drunken Burrito Vegetarian Horchata
    Bharath R.

Amazing spot. We were kindly greeted by the owner of the restaurant who offered some great chips & salsa and gave an explanation of the menu. Got the vegetarian drunken burrito (a burrito covered in your salsa of choice) that was enough for two meals and an horchata that was among the best I've ever had. Friends got tacos and said they were much better than the other spots that we tried in LA. Go here and support this small business! Hidden gem in Hollywood.

Yum, if you are looking for tacos with fresh made tortillas, this is your place. We came in to grab a water before our tour and we saw that he was making fresh tortillas and decided to try a couple of tacos. We had 1 shrimp and one carne asada. Both were great!! I would definitely recommend this place!!

Very filling! I wanted to go dine in and have authentic Mexican food, so glad I found this place! Great service and I definitely recommend coming here!

I came in here and ordered a Asada smothered wet burrito I accidentally got a vegetarian burrito let me tell you it was amazing they even gave me the Carne Asada one to go ate that as soon as I went home!

    Where is the pastor ??????

Mmm what kind of mexican burrito place charges for salsas ? This is something that automatically should be included with your food. I asked for salsa and was charged and additional 1.50 ! I will not be coming back just because of this. I do not think its cool when places are trying to just make money on everything and they dont even give chips with your burrito anymore. I was excited to see them open but what a disappointment. The last place that was there was bomb. Dos Burritos and Los burritos are both walking distance from There and both are awesome !! Also they dont charge for salas. Also I got a Pastor burrito but it seems like I got a rice burrito it had like barely any meat.

Tacos Dorados (Chicken) - MUST TRY! 5/5 - LITERALLY THE BEST

Wonderful food & great staff. Very friendly. I can't eat cilantro so they made a special green sauce for my wet burrito. I had the Al Pastor burrito and it was one of the best I've ever had. My wife had Al Pastor tacos and Hot Cheetos nachos and she loved all of it. We'll definitely be back!

Great service and delicious food. Stopped in for a quick meal before a comedy show in the area and was impressed. The guy at the front was very nice, and the drunken wet burrito was really good!

Not your typical hole-in-the-wall experience! One man kitchen, as savory as Hollywood can get, all the bells and whistles are cooked slowly into each option. We ordered a quesabirria, enough to share portions, cheesy meaty birria heaven with a side of birria au jus. The drunken burrito mild version is on the HOT, HOT, HOT spectrum. Be warned, this is the kind of heat to bring you back from a drunken stupor. Don't drive, walk here, the parking lot next door charges $20 on weekends and $12 at public parking garage. My meal was less than parking, definitely worth the hassle of finding street parking!!! Enjoy a courtesy map of the Hollywood Walk of Fame printed behind their menu.

Nachos with choice of meat, we chose chorizo. My favorite part of the dinner.

We were just walking around and stumbled across this place. Amazing food, you MUST get the nachos. Very sizable portions- so I suggest you share! Staff was very attentive and cared to ask us how we liked our food!! Will be back.

Sonoratown was our first stop as it was highly recommended by my boyfriend's brother, and it did not disappoint. It immediately earned a spot in our top five favorite taco spots for carne asada in all of Southern California! The location that we went to is located in between Elysium DTLA and Perfumeria Starlux on E 8th St in downtown LA. There is only paid(?) street parking around the area that could be extremely difficult to find during work days. Because we couldn't snag a spot, my friends and I opted for takeout and didn't end up eating until about 30 minutes later. Despite the travel time, the tacos were still absolutely incredible--I can only imagine how spectacular it tastes fresh! My friends and I ordered the carne asada tacos, and my boyfriend opted for the cabeza. Before I even took a full bite, I tasted a piece of the loose carne asada and was blown away; it was perfectly cooked with a wonderful tenderness and deep smokiness. The use of a single, thin, handmade flour tortilla--rather than the standard double corn--was a total game-changer and exactly how I preferred my tacos. The salsas were equally impressive, offering fantastic flavor and a great kick. My boyfriend's cabeza taco was just as standout, featuring super-tender meat with a rich, savory profile. Wowowow! Between the exceptional meat quality, bold flavors, and great value, this is easily one of the best taco spots I've visited. It's a huge bummer that they don't have a location down in San Diego, but we will definitely be back!

Mostly crowded streets with metered parking. I got the chicken burrito. The tortilla was definitely the highlight and what really makes the burrito. Fresh, flavorful, and great texture. The filling itself tasted more like a standard burrito otherwise. Also tried the avocado sauce, which costs extra but was really good and worth adding. Overall solid spot. I'd come back to try the beef burrito and the chivichanga next time.

I ordered the carne asada tacos and the brisket tacos and both were soooo delicious! They have a self serve toppings and salsa bar, so you can customize your tacos to what you liked. Service here is very efficient and they are open 24/7 so there's no limit as to when you can get your taco fix. There's plenty of parking which gets extra points in my book, especially because that's typically hard to find in the area. There aren't any tables to eat at, but a lot of people ate standing or by their parked cars. If I could give this spot more than 5-stars I would. When ordering, you'll go up and order your items I always get tacos, but I've heard the other items are delicious as well. You get one free potato per person and I highly recommend grabbing one. Once you grab your potato, you'll head over to the cashier while you'll pay for your items. If you want any drinks, you can order it as well. Once you're finished paying, they have a salsa bar with onions and cilantro and limes. My usual is their Al pastor tacos! It's a tried and true method for me. Note that there isn't any seating, most people stand up and eat or head back to their car and eat on their trunks or inside their car. There's trash cans all around and I believe there are some porta potties. It's a great spot to hit up if you're hungry and need some tacos in your life. Make sure you clean up after yourself.
