Fantastic! Get rice and beans are perfection. Costillas en chile rojo are out of this world. The tortillas are legit- not packaged or maseca BS. Go here if you want legit Mexican food. Hand made tortillas! Food took me back to my childhood! It was so good, it reminded me of my grandma's cooking. Very "home made" feel to it. Food is made to order so it may take some time before you actually start eating, but I promise you it's worth it! Small location, and always busy so be conscious of that. Hello, I used to come here years ago and the food was good and the service was amazing. Compared to now I am disappointed. My menudo had a long black hair, which I had completely lost my appetite. I also found another small black hair in there. The service was okay but I just hope that they can take this advice and become more professional. Thank you. read more

I've been coming to this Mexican restaurant since I was a kid, and it continues to be one of my all-time favorite places to eat. If I could keep this my little secret gem forever, I would! However, their food is so good I tell everyone I know to give them a try! They have the BEST handmade tortillas that come when you order certain food options like menudo, soup, machaca, chorizo, etc. I have tried many different plates and every one of them have been delicious. It's like eating a home cooked meal that my grandma made! Honestly, the best Mexican food in the area! The restaurant itself is very small and they can get busy. We mostly call our order in ahead of time and pick it up to go. The parking lot is shared with several other businesses and is also fairly small. However, don't let that discourage you for stopping in. You will be glad you did! read more

I've been coming here since I can remember. My dad would always bring my family and I to eat on the weekends. It's a little small but it feels so nostalgic. The owners are from Zamora Michoacán and the food tastes exactly like you're ordering a plate or food in Zamora! My favorite plate are the costillas de puerco en salsa roja, the chile relleno burrito (with asada), & the chilaquiles. They have a variety of different plates you can chose from! This Mexican restaurant is definitely authentic and a whole in the wall! The seating is very limited as well as parking since it's in a small, shared shopping center. The tacos with handmade corn tortillas are delicious and the meat is always tender and flavorful. The costillas de puerco en salsa roja are very tasty and always hit the spot. Rice and beans are delicious all the time. Service is always friendly and can take long at times because they are always busy with to go orders and orders from customers dining inside. The interior could use many updates but that doesn't affect the quality or taste of food. 10/10 read more

This place is literally a hole in the wall place! Don't be misguided by the look of place! The food is phenomenal. I give it a 4 star because of the food not the actual location itself. If you ever passed by this place and wonder what the line is! Well the food is amazing, the Chile verde is good but my favorite is the costillas plate! The tortillas are really good and take it from a person that doesn't eat tortillas. Carne asada plate is on point as well! Very authentic homemade tasting food. I'm very picky when in comes to RICE and golly, do they have some good rice. The refried beans are delicious to say the least. I ordered the costillas en salsa roja, porks ribs cut into small pieces smothered in red sauce for those of you that don't habla...The order comes with fresh handmade corn tortillas too! Omg! This place is a serious hole in the wall place that you just have to visit for their great food. Super tiny location but it makes up for it with the great tasting food. I got their costillas de puerco which are pork ribs cooked in their red salsa super good. I am one of those people who read traditional Mexican food and expect to get meat with the bone included and this place came through. It's just something about cooking with the bone that gives it so much more flavor. Super bonus they make hand made tortillas, they make a difference, trust me! read more

Orale! A hole in the wall with better food than the fancy places, this tiny place in the strip mall next to Sunshine Doughnuts was the find of the year for me. Handmade tortillas, the best chiliquilies verdes, amazing guacamole and spicy salsa. For my bestie and I to eat a large breakfast AND order a plate to go for mom only cost us $24. It's not the cleanest place you'll find, and the most of the drinks are out of a bottle from the cooler (no booze, sorry), but trust me, the food is home cooked goodness in large portions. If you don't mind a little ghetto with some of the tastiest food you'll ever eat, make the trip to my old hood and get your grub on. read more

I had a chile relleno burrito with Carne asada for $17. Most of it was rice and although I have no complaints about the Chile relleno, the meat was inedible. Most of it was fat. My husband had a chile relleno plate for $17. The chele relleno again was OK but the rice and beans were not good at all. My son had the burrito with chicken. Yes the burritos are huge but you're basically paying for rice and beans with a little bit of chicken for $17. The agua frescas were $7 each. They were OK but for seven dollars definitely overpriced. We wanted so much to like this place for the reviews, but do yourself a favor and don't spend your time or money.
