Flautas de res con tortillas de maiz / Beef Taquitos with corn tortillas

Hand made tortillas! Food took me back to my childhood! It was so good, it reminded me of my grandma's cooking. Very "home made" feel to it. Food is made to order so it may take some time before you actually start eating, but I promise you it's worth it! Small location, and always busy so be conscious of that. Other than that, coming here again!

Great authentic mexican food. Homemade corn tortillas, great customer service Small inside area to eat but it is clean.

I've been coming here since I can remember. My dad would always bring my family and I to eat on the weekends. It's a little small but it feels so nostalgic. The owners are from Zamora Michoacán and the food tastes exactly like you're ordering a plate or food in Zamora! My favorite plate are the costillas de puerco en salsa roja, the chile relleno burrito (with asada), & the chilaquiles. They have a variety of different plates you can chose from! And the portions are great! I love coming here. It is a little small though but the food makes up for it!

The food is delicious and very authentic! Love the homemade tortillas that come with certain dishes.

I was getting my car washed across the street and wanted some tacos. Saw this place and decided to try it out. Had 2 tacos de carne asada. The price, service and taste of the meat was very good. Personally I don't care for thick hand made tortillas but after seeing the other dishes being served, I will definitely be back to try them out.

Allowed me to sample the cucumber margarita before making me one. It was actually refreshing and better than the sex on the beach. The quesabirria tacos were delicious. Never had them that small lol but they were really good. I would definitely get those again. There was a mistake with some charges on my tab but the manager or supervisor on duty came over and notified me before I even notice and she immediately corrected the error. However, I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this location. The service we received from Oscar was poor from start to finish. It genuinely felt like he either did not want to be at work that day or simply did not want to serve a table of two. What made it more frustrating is that a larger party came in later and he seemed more happy to help the and took his time. The restaurant was not busy. When we arrived, Oscar only had one table, and throughout our visit it appeared he had no more than three to five tables total. Despite that, my mother and I felt ignored for most of the evening. What made this especially disappointing was that I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. Instead of feeling welcomed, we left feeling overlooked and unimportant. The one bright spot of the night was Nisa, the hostess. She was friendly, helpful, and stepped in toward the end to assist us. Her professionalism was appreciated and was the only positive part of our visit. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this location. It felt like the focus was on serving larger parties while smaller tables received little attention.

The idea was to enjoy my coffee while getting organized--paying bills, planning calendar events, and having the opportunity to focus without any distractions from my usual surroundings. In search of the perfect spot, I turned to Yelp, a reliable resource for uncovering hidden gems nearby. Upon stepping into the coffee shop, I was immediately greeted with warm hospitality, setting the tone for a delightful experience. The ambiance of the place was truly captivating--it was bright and welcoming, infused with an aesthetic charm that instantly put me at ease. I couldn't help but be intrigued by the design elements throughout the shop, which added an inviting touch to its overall atmosphere. Before I settled in, I asked the staff if I could snap a few photos to capture the essence of this delightful space. They graciously welcomed my request, and I was shown to my table, which, quite uniquely, was designated by a number--a small detail that I found charming. As I browsed the menu, I encountered a small conundrum: I wasn't entirely sure what to order. I wanted to break the mold and try something out of the ordinary. My curiosity was piqued by their exclusive offering of Café de la Olla--a traditional hot drink that piqued my interest right away. I ultimately settled on a hearty plate that included rice, beans, and enticing potato tostones, accompanied by two beautifully cooked sunny-side-up eggs. As I waited for my order, I noticed the café was filled with the sweet sounds of old-school music from the '60s and '70s, which only enhanced the cozy ambiance while I sipped my drink. Now, let's talk about the food! I must say, I rated the café itself a solid 4 out of 5 for its overall charm, while the rice earned a respectable 4 out of 5. The beans were rich in flavor and received a fair 3.9 out of 5. The potato tostones, delicately bathed in a savory red sauce, stood out with an impressive score of 4.3 out of 5--these are a must-try if you visit! And as for the sunny-side-up eggs, they were good, but hey, eggs are eggs, right? Overall, the entire experience was quite enjoyable, from the delightful food to the warm atmosphere. A special shout-out goes to Ana, whose exceptional customer service made my visit even more memorable. The combination of fantastic service, inviting aesthetics, and satisfying food truly made for a perfect morning retreat. I can't recommend this spot enough for anyone looking for a relaxing place to unwind and focus on what matters.

My family and I are in Montebello every weekend & crave tacos. But most street taco stands don't open till 3pm. We were drawn in by their instagram posts & how they open at 11am. They have $1 tacos EVERY DAY (carne asada is the only meat that is $2, but that's still a great deal). Sometimes when I go to other taco spots their meat is chewy/fatty. But this spot did not have the chewy meat. It was well done! We did the 8 tacos + 1 drink for $10. I gave it another shot and ordered rice again, but this time it wasn't fully cooked, which was disappointing. Honestly, I keep going back because it's affordable and super close to home, but the customer service and food quality just aren't consistent. Hoping they can improve because the potential is definitely there.

The only knock on this place is that they don't give you a number to take to your table. So when they said, "green salsa chicken enchiladas" I said, "that's me" because that's what I ordered and I had the receipt to prove it. In actuality, I took someone else's order, completely by accident. Luckily, I didn't take 1 bite off my plate and the original customer trusted me and ate it. The cashier then brought me the plate that I had ordered, about 5 mins later. However, I feel like this entire situation was avoidable if they handed out a number to bring to your table. 4 stars!
