Sergio's Tacos has been a longtime go-to spot for my family for many years. Overall, the food is good, and it's one of those places we keep coming back to because when they get it right, it really hits the spot. My personal favorite is their burrito, pretty much with any meat. They do a great job balancing and rolling it so that you get a good mix of everything in each bite, which makes a big difference. Family favorites also include their carne asada tacos, tacos in general, their nachos, and the tortas de milanesa. That said, the food can be a little hit and miss at times depending on how it's prepared and served. For me, the one thing I usually skip here is the al pastor. It tends to be a little too soupy for my taste, and in my experience it does not have that fresh off-the-trompo texture and flavor that I prefer. As for service, it really depends on who you get. It can be hit and miss, but for the most part the staff is not rude and things usually move along fine. Ambiance is pretty minimal in my experience, mainly because I usually take the food to go, so I'm not really coming here for the dine-in atmosphere. Pricing is decent, the food is generally satisfying, and this is still a spot that has earned its place as a family favorite over the years. Really good quality meat and full of flavor. Only tried the carne asada but was delicious all the same. The nachos were so heavily topped with guac it was soooooo good. On the simpler side in regard to toppings however add some salsa and they're golden. My friend wanted me to try the mulita and I'm so glad she ordered it. I've been coming to this location every so often for the past 30 years. All the food is pretty good, particularly their asada burritos, tacos and menudo on the weekends. Their beans can be salty at times and their Super Nachos aren't what they used to be but they're still alright when I have the craving. Recommend are their carnitas, which you can bought bulk, and pair that with their famous red salsa for homemade tacos or tortas for a quick dinner for the family. read more

I'm so upset, I don't understand the customer service restaurants provide these days. I placed an order at Sergio's Taco's and they got it wrong. I phoned to tell them that I was taking it back to get the right item and they told me they inadvertently charged me incorrectly and that they needed to charge me extra. The cashier admitted her mistake and stated she took the order incorrectly and that's why the order was wrong. Excuse me?? who's paying me for the additional gas that I am spending to go back and forth? I have to stop working so I can go pick up the correct meal. Who's paying me for the lost time? Dinner time is valuable to me, that's why I ordered take out, I wanted to spend more time with my kids. Instead I had one child seated at the table without food. NOT COOL. The original chili verde salsa for the tacos 27 years ago till about four years ago were the workers pealing the tamatillos and doing everything from scratch so I've been one of their return customers for along time vail, commerce, new Olympic so it started looking different in shades if you all remember it use to be bright green now it's dark green it has a horrible flavor and it's alway inconsistent. It's always hot and theirs no ting no flavor like it had before. I asked the senoras there and they said they changed to can tamatillos because it would take the workers so long to peal them and they would have to peel 7 boxes a day. Then they recently changed their tortillas to the yellow ones and I asked again they said well their cheaper. Then during summer months the cilantro and onion is always spoiled you can spell it and it's spoiled because the fridge they use isn't cold enough. Even their chips They changed about six years ago to the yellow chips. They use to be the best and now it's crap even the meat doesn't even have the lemon flavor it use to have. It's so sad because I've been coming there for 28 years. I was pregnant with both my daughters. I went to this place with my family and we all loved the food. For me, value is everything, and this place is affordable and flavorful. The service was great, and accommodating - the staff are super friendly. It's a simple space. I got a wet verde sauce carne asada burrito - amazing green sauce, great flavor, and the carne asada is tender, virtually no fat, and well seasoned. Similar flavor to King Taco's carne asada. I ordered the Chile relleno, and it did not disappoint; it was topped with tomato caldito and was filled generously with cheese. The flauta plate served with rice and beans was great for its value. We also ordered an enchilada with cheese in red sauce and something so simple had so much flavor. Everything tasted great in my opinion, and I'd recommend this place anytime. Terrible service here. I asked for an asada burrito with beans and rice. I go home to find out they gave me a bean and rice burrito. I drive all the way back and tell them they got my order wrong. They end up charging me $2 extra dollars to give me my right order. Then I go all the way back home and realize they gave me an all meat burrito! They were not very apologetic and would not give me my money back unless I drove all the way back there and gave them the asada burrito back. So ridiculous! read more

My husband and I ordered carne asada tacos, cheese enchilada combination, horchata, and aguas pina. My husband liked the tacos; they were 1.25 apiece. The cheese enchiladas left a lot to be desired for. It was like eating plain tortillas..... look at the pics I posted, there is so little cheese and the enchiladas themselves are dry as there wasn't enough sauce. The beans tasted like they were from a can. The rice was delicious. I wish the rest of the meal was of the same quality as the rice. The horchata was ok and the pina tasted like it came from a can of Dole that was then watered down. The service was helpful and quick. Parking is tight with few spaces. After church and going to Entenmann's my wife and I went to Sergio's Taco's for lunch this is our first time at the restaurant. It's a small restaurant but I heard from friends who goes church with us says the food is amazing good. My wife and I have to go Sergio's Taco's and try the food out. I order the chili renello combination with rice and refried beans and my wife order the Tamale combination and a order of taquito. I enjoy the chili renello very much it have great flavors and the cheese was so good and plus cheesy. The rice and the fried beans were really good flavor and hand made flour tortilla was good I can tell was scratch made. My wife enjoy her Tamale combination including the beef and sweet tamale. The taquitos was really good we enjoy it. Everything at the restaurant is scratch made and made daily. read more

Carne Asada or El Pastor burrito!!! Those are my usual orders depending and what i feel like having. But I have been coming here since I was younger. The burrito is very filling, good proportions of meat, rice, beans, onions, cilantro and salsa. Good price for the amount of food. Service is great and quick. I usually don't have to wait to long. TIP: The red salsa can be very spicy. So if you don't like spicy just ask them to not include the salsa in your burrito. But all the food is very tasty. The salsas are hot and addicting. read more
