    Yummy drinks

While on vacation, my friend and I went in a boat ride of Morro Bay. The reservation was super easy to make. I called day-of and was able to book a tour. I traveled here in spring, so I don't know what summer bookings look like. The ride is about an hour long. We went on the booze Tiki cruise. The drinks were rather large. They offered two sizes, we got the smaller size and that was perfect for me. I was super excited that I was able to bring my dog! I paid for my 2 dogs, I only brought on (the other is 18 and he had been out all day, he was asleep in his kennel). They don't do Refunds, but I was supposed to get a drink pass, but I don't think I did? I didn't realize until way later, though. There was also a goat on the cruise! I like to call it, "The Story of a Dog, a Goat and a Boat". I think the boat only held about 22 or 24 people. It wasn't super cold on the boat. We were pretty shielded. Remember, people might be drinking, so it can get loud! I'm giving them 5 stars just on the fact that I could bring my dog! I can't say that she loved it (she was scared, she had never been on a boat before), but thank you for a fun experience.

This was a ton of fun. It's a pricey excursion for just a 45 minute float around the harbor, but it seems worth it for some serious vibes and some on the water views of the wildlife complete with a drink. A floating tiki bar takes you out for a ride, the driver narrates with details about the town, animals, and giant volcanic plug known as the Morro Rock. There is a bartender mixing up drinks from a menu that even tells you how potent each one is The music, the water, the wonderful views make this a really nice outing that is easy to fit into your vacation plans.

    Great crew and good drinks.

Tiki Cruise was great. Skipper and crew were awesome. Loved the info on the otters and the drinks were great.

We have been to Morro Bay a few times now. I did not know until our most recent trip that there are daily boat tours around the calmer waters in the harbor area. Since it was my dad's birthday, we decided to book a reservation for our family. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon for a tiki cruise boat tour. Lost Isle Adventures is located in a nice area along the wharf in beautiful Morro Bay. Parking is accessible along the streets and parking lots. The tiki boat looked fun and inviting for families. There was a thatch roof which was perfect for shade which I appreciated. Our boat was fairly big enough to fit about 22 or more passengers. The boat captain was welcoming and friendly. He did a great job looking for marine wildlife and cruising the scenic harbor route along side the majestic Morro rock as the backdrop. The bartender was very nice and knowledgeable. He did a great job making some tasty tiki cocktails and mocktails. He also made sure to answer all our questions. They both definitely made our tiki cruise so enjoyable and memorable. Overall we enjoyed our experience with Lost Isle Adventures. The staff were great and made it very worthwhile. The price point for both the tiki cruise and tiki drinks was more than fair. The boat tour was about 45 minutes long which was more than enough time to relax and see the area. Witnessing the sea otters and sea lions up close made our kids' day. This weekend activity was definitely a major highlight from our recent trip to the Central Coast. I highly recommend this tiki boat tour to anyone looking for a fun activity to do with the family.

My husband and I booked the 2 pm harbor cruise with our almost 3 year old daughter. We ended up being the only people on the cruise before the rush. We've been before when the boat was full and that's super fun too- but this was amazing for our toddler. Captain Bruce and his first mate Johnny were incredible. It really felt like a cruise with friends including fun facts and chit chat. 10/10 would recommend. Just great vibes all around!

The Wife and I went out on the Sunset 21+ Adult Tour. We had such a great time. The crew was amazing, funny, and friendly! They definitely encouraged the whole group to have a good time. And good times are always better with some drinky-drinks. We had 4 during the tour (Zombie, Leaky Tiki, and 2 others that I can't remember). Drinks were delicious and worth the price. Whether you take the sunset tour or any of the earlier tours, I'm sure you'll have a great experience. In fact, if we had more time, we'd take multiple tours in a day and just enjoy drinks on the water. Well worth it!

Sea otters in the bay early in the morning

So much fun! Check in was easy, boat left on time, small-ish boat with not too many people, staff was great, one guy came and told us about whales, and the company sent out a boat earlier and told us where the whales were so we didn't have to go find them. We also saw super cute sea otters sleeping in the bay and got to see the sea lions up close too. I really appreciated that staff was a good steward of the ocean by giving the sea otters, whales, and sea lions space and not being loud or revving the boat engine.

Curious juvenile whale checking us out!

We saw a lot of whales and other marine life! Everyone was very kind and Marcel shared information with us. We were fortunate when a juvenile whale visited with us for a while! We were told that it is a rare event. I will absolutely go out with Lost Isle Adventures again! Thanks for a great experience!

    Happy Birthday Frank!

My husband and I are so happy we took the Sunset Tiki Cruise on Morro Bay for his birthday last week. Captain Ricky and our bartender Gunner are very knowledgeable regarding the local ecosystem, history and threats to the local marine life. We paused to watch the sea lions and otters, making several circles around the bay to identify points of interest. And then of course, there was the party atmosphere! Perfect for a birthday or any kind of celebration - or just for fun. We will definitely do this again...for no reason at all except that we love it.

Whale watching cruise was epic ~ we saw more than 30 whales that day!

We booked a sunset cruise as well as a whale watching cruise. Both excursions were awesome and staff is amazing! They were accommodating on the phone and remembered us by name when we checked in. We are looking forward to booking with them again next time we're in that area!

Really fun ride around the bay while sipping on a good tiki drink. I appreciate the boat is covered and has some glass so wind is a minimum. The captain provided some good opportunities to see the wonderful wildlife in Morro Bay and a bit of history about the Rock. Our mixologist was fantastic and we appreciated having the real Mai Tai recipe vs the heavy juice version. Thanks for a great ride!

OMG! I can't put into words the experience we had!! It's so incredibly amazing and I still can't believe it. Saw tons of whales and other ocean life during our tour. The crew was so professional, knowledgeable, accommodating and kind. Created core memories for my sister's birthday.THANK YOU!

Are you in Morro Bay and looking for something to do and you're on a budget? You need to come to Lost Isle Adventure! My husband and I stepped into a shop to look around and the clerk asked if we were checking in. We were very confused at first but apparently they do little harbor tours on this little tiki bar/boat. It was only $25 per adult. We decided to sign up for the 5:00pm tour. My husband didn't want to at first but once we did it, he was very pleased with the experience. We learned some interesting facts about Morro Rock and went home with some cute tiki souvenir cups. They don't short change you on the drinks!!! The staff was super nice and it was a fun experience. We met a couple who has done the tour several times and they keep going back.

The boat was extremely comfortable and super easy to get on and off. Only 6 people so everyone is able to see the show. Captain Mark is personable, experienced and safety conscious. While you can never be guaranteed as to what you will see, the experience we had totally exceeded our expectations - lots of whales breaching and showing off their flukes and dolphins accompanied us for a while playing alongside the boat. We saw multiple groups of whales lunge feeding, with whales, sea lions, and tons of birds all feeding together. We also saw lots of dolphins and had a chance to cruise alongside them for a while. Our guide, Mark, was fantastic. He clearly knew the whales and their behavior, always kept us informed about what was happening and where to look, and was happy to answer all of our questions. The highlight came when Mark spotted a whale away from where we were watching and decided to head over to check it out--even though we were already seeing some incredible activity. We're so glad he did. Shortly after we got there, the whale breached right in front of our boat! An unforgettable moment that we never would have experienced without Mark's knowledge and instincts. Our original trip had actually been canceled the day before because of bad weather. While that was obviously disappointing, it was completely outside their control, and we really appreciated how they handled it. They added an extra third trip the following day so they could accommodate us. We also brought our three-and-a-half-year-old along, and he had a great time. He was comfortable throughout the trip and really enjoyed the experience. It may not be for every three-and-a-half-year-old, but it definitely worked great for ours! It was the best whale-watching experience our family could have asked for. It truly couldn't have been any better!

True to it's name, if you have the cash you have a seat. To begin your voyage you and your group gather outside Captain Stew's office on the wharf. The short story: you absolutely will not regret going on a trip with Maya Sailing Adventures! It's personal, private, beautiful, fun, easy, and so relaxing. The long story: my sister in law's wedding was postponed due to COVID-19. So the day of her wedding we planned a surprise sailing excursion with Captain Terry. My first impression was that he was incredibly easy to plan with. Everything was up to me. I could bring anything I wanted to make it a special night. It was so easy to plan and get all set up! So we set up a 4 hour sail around the bay for 4 people. After 2 hours he would drop my husband and I off and let my sister in law and her fiancé sail together for the last 2 hours. My biggest concern was that it wouldn't feel private enough for such a special occasion. No reason to worry at all, actually it was incredibly intimate and romantic and very private. If you'd like to chat with Captain, you can, but otherwise he is manning the boat and you are on our own in the front of the boat. It was so private and felt like we were on the boat by ourselves. I set up a charcuterie board and wine tasting with 5 different types of wines. Then we ordered a steak dinner from Windows on the Water and served it to them before they set sail on their own. That's the awesome thing about Maya - it's completely customizable for YOU. We sailed around the bay and relaxed and saw so many otters - mommas and babies! And even a baby seagull! Seeing the animals was so fun. My sister in law and fiancé then went out of the bay and sailed a little bit and saw A WHALE! I was so jealous. But seriously- how amazing? I CANT WAIT to do another trip with Captain Terry. One day, I would like to do the same thing but with only my husband and I... But my sister in law and her fiancé had a wonderful time and so did we. It was one of the best date nights of my life and I can't wait to do it again! You won't regret a sail with Captain Terry and Maya Sailing Adventure!
