My family went to Lotte for my wife's birthday with high expectations based on the reviews we had seen. The open kitchen concept was very cool and made for a great atmosphere hearing the chefs work! All the food and drinks were delicious! However, the service was incredibly poor. Overall, we were there 2+ hours and the majority was waiting on services. Incredibly long waits for taking our drink order, drink service time, and food order... Sadly, bad enough that we do not plan to go back. read more

INCREDIBLE experience! Service was great, our server was informative about all food and drinks. Food was 5 star starting with homemade bread and butter, steak, salmon, and pork entrees. Came to celebrate a birthday and the service wasn't what we hoped. Ordered a dish that never came out, server never mentioned anything. Nothing special to celebrate the birthday from the restaurant like free dessert. Server didn't check up on us very much once the meals came out, and even when we finished, so we couldn't order more drinks. Rare to find a place where the front of house and kitchen are both exceptional. On a Saturday night, we came in at 745, enjoyed well-crafted cocktails, curious but delicious appetizers, lick-the-plate-clean entrees, and just enough dessert. Honestly, this place is just not up to par for the prices, presentation, or portions. The Bavette Steak is slathered with an extremely salty sauce. The octopus is super fishy and the ravioli is too heavy on the curry. Drinks take a long time to come to the table. Atmosphere is so so. This place does not live up to the hype. Do not recommend. There is a rooftop garden that sources most of the vegetables bringing you the best quality. Head Chef has years of experience bringing you a well put together menu that everyone will be happy with. You will finish your meal and start to think when can we dine here again. Server was polite and made excellent suggestions when asked. she was extremely knowledgeable of both the beverage menu and food menu. The restaurant is well decorated. Seating is amble but I would recommend a reservation because once this new restaurant is found by more through word of mouth you'll need one. Each dish had a unique flavor, distinct from typical restaurant fare. The preparation and presentation of the ordered dishes were thoughtfully done, with serving sizes that were perfectly balanced--not too skimpy and not overly generous. Fun experience, food was great! More for a special occasion than somewhere I would go often, but we enjoyed it.

I really like the downtown location and the open design of the restaurant, with a wall of windows giving it an open air feel. Our waiter was very nice and helpful when we asked questions about the menu and the building and rooftop garden. Our food was excellent. The menu reminded me of the type of offerings you find in larger, more culinary forward cities. The brioche bread was unique and delicious. So glad to have this caliber of restaurant in Wichita! read more

We have visited enough to have had EVERY entree and we enjoyed them all. I think our favorite is the lamb orecchiette. If your order it, make sure you order the brioche loaf. You'll need it to soak up the sauce of the dish. We also really like the slow braised pork cheeks and red grits. The tuna crudo (appetizer) is fantastic! Josh and his staff do a great job of creating some elegant and interesting dishes. Even though they've only been open a short while, they've already changed and added some things to the menu. The ambiance is great - nice without being stuffy and elegant yet comfortable. We are regulars and will continue to visit. It's a great place for date. read more
