This family owned establishment is still in a soft opening phase. They had been in business for about a month and half. As we entered the store, we were greeted by the friendly owners. They offered to answer any questions we may have about their products. Also, they were so kind and generous that they let us sample some of the homemade desserts and chai tea. The snacks (appetizers) that we bought were samosas and veggie rolls. The veggie rolls had a hint of spiciness. The samosas weren't too greasy. They were both pretty flavorful and made with fresh wholesome ingredients. The thepla was tasty. The desserts weren't too sweet, which we very much appreciated. The items in the store were reasonably priced. There were a lot of imported food and non-food items. There were a lot of homemade snacks, desserts, cooked food, and groceries for sale. Everything seemed clean, organized, and well-stocked. We'll be back to try some more of their homemade treats. We highly recommend them for catering or anyone that likes homemade Indian food.

This is a great new addition to the area. Fresh, yummy food. I got the paneer pakoras, samosas and kathi roll which were all excellent. The lady who helped me was super nice, they deserve a lot of success and I wish them the best.

This place has been a San Jose staple for years and has been my go-to main supermarket for as long as I can remember. The selection covers everything you could possibly need, from international products to everyday household essentials all under one roof, the kind of variety that makes any other grocery store feel incomplete. What keeps me coming back just as much as the products is the staff. Many of them have been there for years, always friendly, always consistent, always making you feel genuinely welcomed. That kind of familiarity and warmth is something you just cannot put a price on. You come in for groceries and leave feeling like you just visited old friends. This Food Bazaar is a true San Jose international community treasure and deserves every bit of loyalty it has earned over the years. Highly recommend making it your regular stop, you won't regret it

They have amazing selection of spices, meats, breads, produce and more. The shelves are neatly organized. I love the fresh pita bread and lavash that they sell. I found my favorite brand of grape leaves. I also found the pomegranate syrup I needed and the orange blossom water for my Basbousa. They had a nice selection of fillo dough. My favorite brand is the Apollo fillo dough. I got a few boxes of that for my Armenian Paklava. And I couldn't leave without getting some fresh bread. I talked with Eddie, the owner, for a bit. He's so kind and if there's something you can't find, he'll help you get it. It's always a pleasure shopping here. They have the best international food items and excellent customer service. I highly recommend checking it out.

They had the usual array of nonstick pots, which don't work very well for me. They had a small but useful section for clay pots. I thought Amazon and AliExpress had overpriced clay pots, but I was wrong. These prices were significantly higher. I can only hope these are the best of the best. Checking up on 99 Ranch, I couldn't even find clay pots in there more limited kitchen utensil section. I ran across one item where knockoffs are ubiquitous. They've completely flooded AliExpress and you have to watch it with Amazon. Hankook had the authentic item and at significantly lower price than both Amazon and Aldi express. I found a tea section to be well stocked. I also recognize some of the tea brands. 99 Ranch has gone with lower cost options, but if you buy 6 ounces of tea, are you gonna be stuck with an enormous supply. Better to go with reliable brands that I have enjoyed in the past. I loved the produce section. It was nice and fresh. It also had wider selection of produce than other supermarkets. The store itself is stunning. The the aisles are spacious. The store is meticulously clean. The shelves are fully stocked. There were only about two items which were shopped out. The snack area and the frozen foods were even more interesting. It's obvious in those two sections that there were many more Korean brands. I should've tried some, but it's hard for me to resist snacks and there was a good chance that would finish the entire bag in one go. Better to skip it entirely. The parking lot for the supermarket is spacious. I had no trouble finding a spot even though I arrived in the late afternoon when everybody has gotten off work. I live about two hours away. And I am very jealous because there is no Hankook near me.

We have purchased a wok from here, twice, and they were reasonably priced (around $35 if I recall), and we got a spare lid for a reasonable price as well. Love the ample parking, prime location, and how spacious it is inside. The rewards system is essentially a 1% cash back at a 1000pt cliff -- meaning you get $10 after you spend $1000 but no redemptions before that. Being a member also doesn't get you any additional discounts vs non-members. But hey it's free so it doesn't hurt. I'll always support there being more Asian grocery stores in the West Side of the South Bay. H-Mart always had that spot for me, but now it's shared. Mega Mart's marketed as a more premium store, but it does its best when they're running sales. Price between the two are pretty neck and neck. You'll spend anywhere from $70-$200 per trip cuz the small things do add up. They used to have prepped food marked off anywhere from 30-70% off in the final and early hours of the day. Now, it's an inconsistent luck of the draw. However, I've never had an issue with food quality with anything I've purchased whether it be prepped food or raw ingredients. 4/5, solid store. Hope they continue to grow and thrive as a mainstay of the community.

Everything is made fresh to order, and you can really taste the quality in every dish. I especially loved the grilled meats -- they had that perfect smoky char flavor straight from the grill. Beef, Kofta & Chicken: Super flavorful and packed with spices, with an amazing grilled/charred flavor. I loved being able to build my own wrap with all the different veggies and sauces! Hawawshi Traditional (Egyptian Meat Pie): Similar to arayes, but even more flavorful and juicy. It comes generously stuffed, and the arugula paired perfectly with it. Chicken Breast Bowl: OMG, the fries were so good! The chicken and fries combo worked perfectly together. The chicken had subtle hints of lime and was served over a creamy mayo-style sauce that tied everything together.
