Delicious affordable Indian food! I've been on the hunt for a new takeout Indian food that affordable with good portions, and I think I found the spot! I ordered the egg biryani, butter chicken, and their friday curry flight that came with the choice of 3 curries, a salad, raita, and naan. The biryani was super flavorful and not dry, and the egg paired with it well. All the curries were spicy and delicious, honestly not much more to say about it. I will say their raita is not my favorite, its just thick plain yogurt. I ordered online and I had to wait a little when I got there but that was okay. Our second time here and the food was absolutely delicious. All flavors were on point and authentic, and the dishes here are more of a Pakistani style(rather than Indian style) We got the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala and goat dum biriyani. The biriyani had tender meat pieces and well flavored rice, and a bit of a kick which added another dimension to the variety of flavors. 5/5 for flavor, quantity and service. Visited Tandoori Cafe today and wow -- what a tasty experience! I ordered the samosa chaat, chicken wrap, CTM combo with rice and salad, chicken boti, and fries. The samosa chaat was amazing -- perfectly spiced and super flavorful. The chicken wrap was super filling and they were very generous with the chicken -- honestly a great lean option if you're trying to keep it lighter. The CTM was sooo good. I wish it had a bit more spice, but it was still a solid, comforting choice. The chicken boti was just okay -- it came out on a sizzler which was nice, but a few pieces seemed slightly undercooked. The fries were delicious, and they came with raita, which felt a little unexpected... but hey, who doesn't love extra raita? Overall, a good experience with flavorful food and satisfying portions. I used to go to this restaurant once a week before moving away. I recently went back to the original location, but it was closed. I was so disappointed. Later, I passed by this place on my way home and decided to check it out to see if it was the same restaurant. As soon as I walked in, I recognized the menu. I eagerly waited for my food; it was the chicken wrap that I used to eat weekly. Believe me, I have tried chicken wraps everywhere, and nothing else compares. It didn't take long for the food to come out. As soon as I sank my teeth into the wrap, I knew right away that it was the same restaurant with the same recipe. Came in for a quick snack while I waited for my boyfriend to get a haircut next door - I'm very pleasantly surprised to have found probably my new favorite spot! Never tried mango lassi before but this stuff is delicious! And I also ordered the samosas and holy moly, these things are so fresh and perfectly seasoned inside. These might be the best ones I've ever had. For food we tried the Tuesday special that comes with 3 curries, naan, salad & Raita. We got the following curries: * Chicken Korma - a little oily but I absolutely LOVED the curry for this one. It went well with the fresh warm naan that came along with it and would definitely come back for more. * Lamb Curry - this came with boneless pieces of lamb and the curry was absolutely flavorful *Fish Curry - hubby really enjoyed this one and it came with a few pieces of fish. This place is so underrated. I've tried almost everything on their menu. If you come here, you have to order one of the wraps. They are so perfect, even the vegetarian ones. You also have to try their naans. They are thin and crispy on the edges and so delicious. The aloo naan comes with raita, and it's almost like a pizza -- it is so good! Garlic and gobi naan are great too. Here are my favorites - paneer wrap 5/5 - aloo naan 5/5 - fries 5/5 (ask for them to put their masala spice over the fries like they do when you order the burger -- they become amazing masala fries) My friends also love their biryani. If I had one gripe about this place, it's that they put a little too much oil in the curries. I think they would be much better if they just used a bit less oil. I went in on a Monday, and I was greeted with excellent customer service from a young man whose name I unfortunately didn't ask. I'm no stranger to Indian food, but their menu seemed to have everything, and I couldn't decide what to get! The young man went above and beyond in breaking down all my options, and was not only friendly and informative, but patient as well! He offered me free chai while I waited, and it was excellent. When we received the order, my kids tasted the paratha and they said it was very spicy, which we had specifically asked not for.
