My daughter wanted to buy her mom (my wife) a Mother's Day gift, so she decided on a handbag. It couldn't be any handbag from stores like Walmart or Target, which was my first choice, but it had to be one from Louis Vuitton. We decided to take a trip to The Americana at Brand. Upon arriving, we located the LV store. Upon entering this store, we were greeted by a friendly, young female employee. When asked, we provided this employee with our name and advised them to browse the store, as our name would be called when it was our turn to meet with a client advisor. We had been browsing the store for 10 minutes when we heard our name called. Advisor Silvia introduced herself, and we spoke for a couple of minutes. Silvia was AMAZING! She was polite, friendly, professional and she listened intently as we described exactly what we wanted. Silvia brought two items for us to inspect--a handbag and a cross-body bag. My daughter Lauren decided the cross-body bag was perfect! And mom, who was with us as well, agreed. We paid for the soon-to-be gift (mom has to wait until Mother's Day) and walked out, happy and satisfied with our entire shopping experience. read more

Glendale's shopping center war between Galleria and Americana continues, with the Americana battling for luxury dominance of all the higher end shops. They seem to be winning. The Galleria Bloomingdales has closed its Vuitton and Gucci boutiques, as both brands have opened full-sized shops here at Americana. The Louis Vuitton shop is big and beautiful. Everything is here, with a friendly but hands-off sales staff to let you do your own snooping; they swoop in when necessary. Some of the new sunglasses for 2026 are amazing, as are the leather bags and cases. If you like a big hobo bag like me, plenty to choose from here (though they are bigger and softer at Balenciaga, IMHO). One of Glendale's prettiest stores, definitely worth peeping in after your chow-down at the Cheesecake Factory. If only the Americana had some nicer places to eat. Cheers! read more

I bought several products from this place and their customer service sucks. I dont know wether theyre in a rush to serve the next customer or just not in the mood. This place sucks. Eunjoo chang is very nice and helpful but people like Troy Sylvester gives the worst customer service like they are not in retail but rather on a rush to sell things not even knowing the detail and quality of what he's selling. I have been a long-time Louis Vuitton customer, I was disappointed by the service at this store. My wife and I visited to purchase a travel bag and a purse.. No one greeted us, and we waited over 20 minutes before deciding to leave. The sales associates were not attentive and displayed attitude when when walking by. Seem like they did not need our business. So we left to visit the Louis Vuitton store in Beverly Hills, where we received excellent service and were able to get the items we were looking for. No hassle or frustration there. Needless to say, we'll be avoiding this Louis Vuitton store in Americana for our future LV purchases. read more

I hate giving non 5-star reviews, because I'm a business owner and I wouldn't want to get 2 stars either, but guess what? I don't have anything but 5 stars due to my exceptional customer service we provide my clients. So I have been an LV customer for the last 10 years, as long as I've been able to afford them...I just had the worst experience at this location with this tall guy (can't remember his name) working the "line" on a so-called busy night (Friday). That's nor here or there. He claimed there was a wait, wanted my number for the waitlist but he acted like he was a club bouncer. Like bro, chill...I was trying to just exchange my Mother's Day gift (which I kindly explained) and my wonderful SA Alisa was not working that day! (Hence the only reason they got 2 stars). Moral of the story: for the money I spend here and the price tags you all carry, you better train your "customer service people" a little better. That is all. Good day! Was told to go look it up online and "you know you're able to order online?" As I'm walking out, was asked for my phone number to look up my profile after which I was asked to come back and sit down so they could show me what they had in the back and offered water. ALI is the BEST!! I went there last Friday, was greeted at the door, they were a little busy, so as I waited I was offered water and had some time to look around. While waiting, I caught my eye on a purse I hadn't even seen online. While I'm strolling through the store, I was approached by Ali. He introduced himself (he has such a beautiful smile btw) and apologized for the wait. He asked all the right questions and really listened to what I was looking for and what my budget entailed. He brought me a few pieces to look at, including the one that caught my eye earlier. I ended up buying that purse with a few accessories, including a perfume!! I had requested to receive my receipt via email, and when I got home I noticed still hadn't received it so I called the store and left a message, shortly thereafter I received a message from Ali, he noticed that there was an error in the spelling of my email and sent it to me right away! I've shopped at a few different LV locations throughout the years and have always had a great experience , but Ali tops it!! I haven't been to Louis Vuitton store in a while. I stopped by this store for the first time and it will most definitely be my last. My children and myself were greeted at the door, but no one asked me if I needed assistance. After 20 minutes or so of looking around, I had to go look for someone, then after I asked questions the person brought over another sales person who shall remain anonymous. He tried to assist, but I felt judged because of the clothes I was wearing. Then was asked for my phone number. When I gave him my email address as that is how I registered at Topanga location, all my purchases came up and that is what he was looking for. Guessing to see if I could afford what I was trying to buy for my wife. At the end I didn't end up purchasing anything due to the disrespect my children and I felt. read more

If you're going to LV, I think this is one to visit for sure surrounded by the gorgeous layout of Americana. Neighbors to Gucci and other elite brands. The experience is certainly part of the price point. I was gifted a beautiful bag on Christmas Eve and remembering hearing one of the greeters wasn't the friendliest and was exposed to him again when coming in for another bag. It's a toss up as to how you will be welcomed in, sadly, I still keep growing the collection. At least for this location, there was a really sweet salesperson. She was younger and I think I knew the names of the bags better than she did, but she was genuine and was eager to help and make sure I left with the bag I really wanted. She took her time wrapping my purchase for the later unboxing experience. I wish one day they would start selling the bags they give employees as part of their uniform, lol or maybe I need to work one day a week! On May 3, between 2-3pm at the Glendale Americana LV store, I came in to request a repair or trade-in for my authentic LV bag, which was purchased and verified in-store. (As reference I also own plenty of LV bags so I know the service and quality they provide.) The issue I had was a sticky, melted substance on the exterior from the seal. The bag was stored in its box in my closet. A sales associate was unable to assist and escalated to a manager. Unfortunately, the manager replied with a sassy attitude and told me that the repair would cost $1000 without a receipt. I asked why I could not get a free repair, and the manager said it was policy, and when I asked for the policy, the manager refused to say what the policy was and said in an unprofessional tone to just "go search it online." How could a manager possibly NOT tell a pre-existing customer the policy for items bought? This service is an inconsistency, as a white friend of mine received full service at another LV location for the same issue--also without a receipt. This treatment left me feeling dismissed and possibly discriminated against as an Asian. The manager was a 6'+ Hispanic short curly male. The associate was an Asian male that was very helpful and answered my questions as best as he could. I did not get their names, unfortunately. read more

This review was very close close to being a 3 star but James, Ruben, and Nikki save the day. I bought a men's wallet online and had it delivered here. This was around late November to early December. I only used the wallet about a month and the wallet started to peel on the side. I sent it in for repair in January and got it back in February. A couple weeks ago I noticed the canvas is cracked wear it was repaired. I looked up LV policy and if the canvas is cracked it cannot be repair. It has to be replaced. So I decided to go back and see if I can get store credit and pay the difference for a different wallet. I come in and a asian lady comes to help me and I tell her what happened. She was not helpful at all and needs additional training. She said it has to be repair again. She doesn't even know LV policy. I ask her if I can talk to someone else about this and she basically said it would still be the same thing and that it has to be sent in and repair. I was getting frustrated and angry because she doesn't know LV policy and wasting my time. I was keeping my composure and said ok fine. I started taking my stuff out my wallet. She sees me putting my cash and card in my back pocket. She then said the wallet cracked because I put it in my back wallet. I wanted to say how do you know I put it in my back wallet? But I just let it go. She pass me off to Ruben. Ruben sees the problem and get the manager James. James see the issue and says the wallet has to be exchange. I was relieved now that someone is getting the problem fixed. I ask for store credit, picked the wallet I want. Nikki finish the transaction and I was on my way. I have been buying LV for many years and have been to all of the Los Angeles locations. The new Americana store was wonderful. Nicky helped us make great decisions and was very courteous. We were given prompt service as soon as we walked in. After leaving the Beverly Hills and SAKS 5th LV stores this was a great shopping experience.
