Small birthday party with seven people: The good news:…read more1. Desired date was available, 2. Table was adequately prepared, 3. Our waitress was very friendly. The bad news: 1. Prices! Incomprehensibly high! They have risen to about twice since the pandemic, i.e. by about 100%, although the costs at the food wholesaler have only increased by about 5% for fish and about 20% for pork! 2. Size of portions! In every respect much smaller than before 2020, main courses are now minimized to the size of a child's plate! The cheesecake for me, the birthday boy, was so narrow that I wondered if the staff in the kitchen used special knives to cut a cake of about 10 inches in diameter into an infinite number of segments. Impressive! 3. Quality! One should be able to assume that chefs worldwide complete an apprenticeship somewhere in a commercial academy or in an established restaurant and then proudly apply their skills in their workplace! In "Taste of Agave" at "Desert Diamond Casino", this is obviously not the case! All dishes were characterized by either overcooked meat (Seared Pork Tenderloin), tasteless, or parched side dishes (e.g. green asparagus - very woody). 4. Billing! Humans make mistakes! Therefore, I do not want to emphasize this point too much. My bill, nevertheless, showed a dish that I did not order and it was not served to me. But the fact that the restaurant management considers it justified to put a predefined tip on the bill is very surprising! After this pitiful presentation of a dinner for a birthday party, all guests should have received compensation for experienced "pain and suffering!!!

When I got to the counter, I was friendly and simply said, "Hi! I ordered carne asada fries, but I accidentally received nachos." Instead of checking the order or apologizing for the mistake, the employee immediately rolled her eyes and insisted that I had ordered nachos. I calmly explained that I had asked for fries and that she had even repeated "fries" back to me when taking my order. Rather than listening, she continued arguing with me and told me she would change it "this one time," as if she were doing me a favor instead of correcting an incorrect order. She took the bag without checking anything and walked away, continuing to give me dirty looks throughout the interaction. I've worked in food service myself, so I understand that mistakes happen. Orders get mixed up, and that's part of the job. What isn't acceptable is treating a polite customer with hostility, arguing instead of trying to resolve the issue, and making them feel like they're at fault for asking to receive the meal they actually ordered. The incorrect order wasn't what upset me the most, it was the complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic courtesy. I hope management addresses this with the employee who was working the front counter during my visit, because no customer should be treated this way over a simple order correction.

The meat is perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with flavor, and the portions are generous. Every bite reminds you why authentic Mexican food never goes out of style. What really makes this place special is the consistency. Every time I fly into Arizona, Regoberto's is one of my first stops. The food is always fresh, hot, and made with care, and the service is friendly and welcoming. If you're craving a legit carne asada burrito, this spot absolutely delivers. Highly recommend!

Thankfully, we found Ragazzi! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and struck that perfect balance of checking on us without making us feel like we were being supervised. My wife ordered the chicken parmigiana with Alfredo sauce, and I went with the lobster ravioli. We paired them with a glass of Malbec for her and a Merlot for me. Everything was delicious, but I have to give a special shout-out to the warm bread. Let's just say it took some serious self-control to save room for our entrées. Then came the grand finale: the tiramisu. It was absolutely divine and easily big enough for two people to share... assuming one of them is willing to share. Fortunately, we've had 29 years to practice. We left full, happy, and wondering how we hadn't discovered Ragazzi sooner. It's always exciting to find a fantastic local restaurant, especially one so close to home. We'll definitely be back--and probably sooner than our next anniversary!

I received the noodles, the meal was hot and deliciously seasoned and garnished. This visit I received Singapore style noodles, cold, overcooked, very dry, unseasoned, and instead of garnishing with peanuts it was garnished with cilantro. I tried adding soy sauce just to get the clumps of dry noodles to separate. The noodles broke apart when I took a forkful. The proper noodles at my last visit were long flat and could be twirled like spaghetti. They were cooked properly and seasoned well , nice soupy noodles. Yesterday's noodles were the wrong ones for Thai noodles and so dry That I had to sprinkle soy sauce on them to get them to be edible. NOTE TO DAVID, MANAGER, FIND OUT WHO THE CHEF WAS YESTERDAY AT 5 O'CLOCK, AND HAVE HIM TRAIN WITH THE CHEF WHO PREPARED MY FIRST MEAL OF THAI NOODLES. My meal yesterday was unacceptable. The wasn't busy and we put our order in as soon as we sat down. My husband ordered soup, fried rice and a couple appetizers. The soup came out when my Thai noodle dish came out, but the rest order never came out. Finally, we went up to the register and asked them to take it off the bill , we paid and left. During our time there, the waitress only came to take the order and deliver it. Never came back to see how everything was. Training of kitchen staff and wait staff need to be addressed. They are serving inconsistent meals with inconsistent service. If you could advise me of the name of the first chef, I will be sure to return when he is working. His cooking of both our mea was so delicious. It made me want to come back yesterday. Unfortunately I did not receive the same meal at all. After my husband paid the waitress she disappeared into the kitchen before he could ask for a to go box. So he had to grab a large beverage cup with a cover as she didn't come out of the kitchen while he was standing there waiting. As I said, I would really love to return when the chef who prepared my first Thai noodle meal is back in the kitchen. Let me know his name so when I I can be sure he's working. Compare the two dishes in my photos.
