OMGee, the best catfish I have ever eaten!!! My cousin walked in with this huge tray, and when I opened the bag I saw the most beautiful catfish steaks and tails I have ever seen! The fish was sitting on a bed of fries. It can with pickles that tasted like they were soaked in Kool-Aid (yummy) and pickled carrots and peppers were perfect. The older male was extremely unprofessional. He and the workers were having a very LOUD and negative discussion about a customer. The customer suggested that he was very rude. Was riding with a friend and stumbled upon this place. I wasn't too happy at first when my friend suggested that we stop here but I played along since I was riding with someone else. The building is absolutely nothing to brag about I actually thought it was abandoned. The inside looks like a gutted out house that they made into a large kitchen. There were handwritten menus on poster board that appeared to have been there for years, old discolored posters from K104 and raggedy chairs placed at warped table. You placed your order through burglar bars, there was really no decent place to sit, and no public restroom. To top it off we had to go to the nearby store to break a $20 bill because the young lady said the owner had not come back with change.... Now for the good! I ordered the catfish basket with shrimp and it was the bomb.com. The fish was seasoned to perfection as were the shrimp. The fries were just ok but the pickles, peppers and bread sealed the deal for me. We ate in the car as I saw most people did. NO stars! As much as I frequent this establishment, I was glad to hear they were open during this shelter in place. I called and placed my order and the lady over the phone said it would be ready in 10 mins. I got there in 30 mins and the owner, Blue said there was no order for me and said that I didn't call it in. He became very rude. Wouldn't tell me their phone number to verify it with my phone and told me to look at the wall. I told him that is the number I called and showed him from my phone. So instead of trying to find my order or say he will go ahead and make it, he asks for my phone number to see if it was on his caller ID. So I'm sitting there waiting and then he says, we sold it. You weren't here in 10 mins so we sold your order(WHAAAT??) and this was after he insinuated that I lied because they wouldn't tell me 10 mins over the phone and they always give a specific time, like 10:06. He was extremely rude and being rude to a customer that always patronage his business and sends business his way that I was offended and told him nevermind. People always say he's rude...comments all say he's rude but I have never encountered him being rude, maybe short but never rude until tonight. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE...AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU! People should learn how to treat their customers, especially returning customers. read more

I've been looking for food this good and i finally found it. i got the catfish filets. comes with a pepper and fries. mom got catfish steaks. also comes with fries and a pepper. girlfriend got the strip basket and we weren't aware that it would be enough to serve 5-6 people. the guy behind the counter (perhaps the owner) has communication issues and didn't tell us that part. the strip basket is for 5-6 people and comes with fries and several peppers. i was impressed with the food but scared of the neighborhood read more
