Pasta was good, wings were how I like them--super wet but still cooked right. Service is usually nice too. The guys behind the counter seem like they actually enjoy what they do and are genuinely kind. It's not a hole-in-the-wall pizza spot, but it is on the smaller side inside. A little tight, but not bad. Feels homie, like a pizza spot should. It's also in a good spot, right next to one of my favorite dessert spots, so it's an easy combo.

Well last week I discovered they went out of business. Oh no, what were we going to do? So I researched and found there was a place in Sherman Oaks called The Pizza Wagon of Brooklyn, only two locations, here and in Brooklyn and people said it was the real deal. Tonight we tried it, and you know what, it might just be even better. Santino's sauce had a slight sweetness to it that we liked that this doesn't but the sauce is good, and the crust is even more flavorful and they are a bit more liberal with the olive oil usage, which true East Coasters love while I am told that most health conscious Southern Californians do not. Anyway, we are quite happy that we can continue to get our pizza craving satisfied when we just gotta have some slices.

They're always ready to help and since it's a small space inside, they'll keep to themselves if you eat in there. If the weather is good, I prefer to eat out front. Despite the busy street, it's surprisingly peaceful with a slice in hand. Pizza Wagon of Brooklyn is a great option if you're close by and looking for a solid, cheap slice!

They were tiny, flavorless, and soggy. I called to ask for a refund, and the manager I spoke with was incredibly rude. He blamed the quality of the wings on how long it took for me to pick them up, which is funny because one of the things I complained about was their size, and I don't think they shrank between the time they were made and when I picked them up. It did take me 30 minutes to pick them up, but I've often ordered wings through services such as DoorDash, and they arrived much later just fine from other restaurants. The manager himself admitted that they recently changed their wing recipe and have been getting a lot of complaints, but also continued to blame me for the quality of these particular wings (???). He also kept talking over me and had a very argumentative tone. As someone in the restaurant industry, I would never speak with a customer this way. It was beyond disrespectful. I cannot recommend dining in here, especially if you have kids. If you want the pizza, order strictly for takeout and eat at home.
