We've been clearing our property for awhile now and have had an extreme amount of branches and dead brush here. After filling a 40ft trash bin by myself, I had a lot more branches where I could fill another bin. So, I decided to go onto Craigslist to possibly hire somebody to do this job. I was hoping the pricing would be comparable and save me the time and energy. If not, I'd do it again!! I contacted a few different posts about getting this stuff cleared and I had a few quotes that were absolutely ridiculous on what they were going to charge. This is for a service he did in May. I was pleased with the work Joel did for my backyard. I hadn't taken care my backyard for ages. So my backyards was really messy. What used to be a small grassy lawn and a small bed of flowers, it was now full of overgrown weeds. I checked few companies in Yelp and I also checked craigslist. I saw his ads in craigslist that had a link to his yelp reviews. So I thought I would call him. His wife came and assessed the work. I also asked her to estimate for jacuzzi removal. After I agreed with the estimate which I thought it was a reasonable. Few days later, he came with his crews in morning. They worked the whole day to clean up the yard. Apparently, there were few weed trees in the yard. They came back the next day to remove all the roots. When it was done. I was pretty happy with the result. Now, I could see my yard again. When I paid with Venmo. Somehow, I had problems with Venmo. It sent the payment twice. He told me right away about it, and refunded the extra payment.
