One of the best takeout ramen I've had since Covid started, and I couldn't be happier on a chilly evening. Ordered the Spicy Creamy Vegan ramen and added corn to it. I really enjoyed the generous amount of crunchy garlic chips and the broth had a nice flavor to it. Some would definitely find it spicy, but I found myself adding some heat to get it just right. The takeaway container was doubledecker style (broth on bottom and toppings separated on top) which I think should be mandatory for ramen places. It's virtually leak-proof and keeps everything hot. I spent 7 years in Japan and 5 years on Hawaii. I just moved to the AV this past year and have been wanting to try this spot since I moved here so I can get my ramen fix. I finally made it to this spot and it was so-so. So when we decided to go here, there was only another couple and someone waiting for a to-go orde when we arrived on a Friday night...this should've told me it wasn't too popular or in demand?!?! If anything, you get the idea that there is no wait. I ordered a Tonkotsu Spicy with extra Pork Chasu. When it came out, I only saw the meat, noodles and broth. I was wondering where the bean sprout, egg and kikurage were all at...as advertised on their menu. Well, I began to dig and it was all on the bottom. There was probably 2 kikurage and a few bean sprouts. The bowl was a take-out plastic bowl, so when I first saw it, I already knew that they can't fit too much in there. Pros: Taste was good, Chasu was good, Noodles were good. Cons: Not enough kikurage and bean sprouts, also additions were buried not matching picture on menu. **Also, my wife's Miso Ramen had the same issue and was missing the seaweed strips as advertised. Also, fried calamari tentacles weren't impressive. It tasted like it was fried in old and several times reused oil. The dipping sauce was plain low sodium soy-sauce. Only pro here is that it was tender. I get better calamari elsewhere. Final thoughts, I will probably go somewhere else for my ramen fix. read more

I'm so used to having tons of ramen shops to choose from in Los Angeles / SGV area, but here it is very limited to a couple of shops. If you compare the ones down there to the ones up here, this shop would be decent; however, up here in the AV this place is pretty much one of best ramen shops in town. This ramen shop has really cute interior designs, and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. We opted for indoor seating with AC. We were immediately greeted and provided the menu. You could see that the menu prices have increased due to inflation because ramen were $1-2 cheaper a few months ago. We got a couple of appetizers-- the takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and the chicken kaarage. The okonomiyaki is a hard pass for me; it didn't taste right and was especially doughy. The takoyaki and chicken kaarage weren't too bad though. They were both crispy, and have the flavoring just about right. I got the tan tan ramen and the noodle texture was pretty solid. The broth and portions were good sizes. The only thing to note for folks is that tan tan ramen tends to be more saltier, so I do not recommend for folks who likes clearly broth. My sister tried a bit of it and she didn't like how heavy the broth was. Overall, this place is pretty decent for your ramen craving. I would definitely come again to try other menu items. read more

The Ramen is subpar has no flavor and I ordered grilled octopus and it was anything but grilled and it smelled awful like is has gone bad. Watch out, tasty ramen ahead! Love Ramen has been in Lancaster a couple of years now. I have wanted to try, but tend to hit up the joints in LA. Had an opportunity to try it out, so we did. The shop is clean and inviting. We were welcomed and told to choose any table. The menu was pretty much what one would expect from a ramen shop. Ordered the calamari tentacles and takoyaki for starters. They came out promptly. The takoyaki was spot on. The calamari was ok. It had a taste that hinted at old oil. Not inedible, but nothing to write home about. We ordered spicy ramen and sukiyaki ramen. They were great and had good flavor. To accompany our meal, we had passion tea and multi-fruit tea. Both were great and came in a cool reusable to go cup. All in all it was pretty ok. There was work to be done on the calamari for sure. There was not any Shichimi Togarashi (Japanese 7 spice blend) at all. Siracha was available in a to-go container. Chili oil and red pepper were extra. If you are in the AV and for the price, there are options. There is one other ramen place, that I will now have to try. read more

This review is to make the owner aware of the two younger girls working there and the lack of customer service. Arriving here I was not greeted in a friendly manner, I felt as if I was arriving past closing time and the mission was to get me in and out quick as possible. Please let the girls know that smiling is huge in customer service and better customer service better tips! Honestly it was very awkward with them, just attitudes towards a smiling happy customer. Please send them to some training or owner please explain to them that this is enough to have me never wanting to go or recommend this place. This shop is a great place to go for Lunch or Dinner! I've been here a couple times with friends and most recently with family. The staff is always very friendly, and the food has been consistently good. I love the Inuyasha posters on the walls too lol it's a nice touch. They also have an absolutely delicious iced Thai tea, the best I've ever had. I also suggest ordering the spicy edemame, the flavor is amazing. Sadly this restaurant has gone way down since the last time we visited about 6 months ago. It used to be one our favorite ramen places, but no more. The prices have gone significantly higher and the food quality has declined. The place was virtually empty, in contrast to lunch visits before. Maybe that's a sign. My husband's pork don (rice bowl) came out cold, pork was not charred or seasoned well. My spicy pork ramen was alright, at least it was hot, but the broth volume was low. Five stars hands down! Friendly and efficient staff, delicious and fresh food, great location. The hubs and I made last-minute plans for dinner and a movie on a Tuesday night. I didn't want anything too heavy or unhealthy, and my Yelp search turned up Love. I wondered if there was any connection to Love Sushi/Love Korean BBQ (one of our faves) in Palmdale, but I don't think there is. Love Ramen was only a quick drive from the movie theater, so we decided to try it knowing we had less than an hour to eat. Normally, we can eat and jet, but the popular ramen restaurant in Palmdale is anything but efficient, so we knew it was a gamble. Thankfully it worked out perfectly and the previews had just started by the time we got to the theater! I ordered the Tori Shoyu (chicken) ramen and added spicy bean sprout and mushroom. Everything was fresh and perfect. There wasn't too much or too little of any ingredient and the flavor was spot-on. The hubs had the Sukiyaki specialty ramen (beef) and added fresh garlic and mushroom. His broth was creamy like miso soup and VERY garlicky! We both washed our meals down with hot green tea. Yum! This is our first time eating here and the service is good. The waitress came to our table with menus and took our drink orders. We ordered our food and a short time later the food was on the table within about eight minutes. My wife ordered the eel and rice I ordered the spicy ramen soup with pork belly. The soup was very delicious fresh vegetables in it, the ramen noodles were cooked just right. The soup is spicy, but not overly spicy. My enjoyed her food as well she the eel is very good. Best Ramen I've had in years. I order the Chicken Wanton Ramen all the time, it's amazing when it's cold out here. They're really nice too, the lady (Owner?) is very cool and nice every time I go in there to pick up my order. Their Mochi is really good but it's expensive, so I can't order it that often. Oh! I used to really like this restaurant but we went in person today to dine and the experience was cheap with a $$price tag. I'll explain what I mean. For starters their prices have gone up. Not surprising with inflation and gas BUT the menus are falling apart and the prices are fixed with number stickers. CHEAP. The meals you receive are smaller than I remember or at least they look that way in the no longer ceramic or restaurant type bowls but now CHEAP and flimsy plastic. Pair that with the cheapest kind of flimsy plastic silverware you can get at the dollar store that bends when you try and pick up noodles with the fork. If I wanted to eat out of a plastic flimsy bowls with plastic flimsy silverware I would go camping not dine in at a restaurant paying restaurant prices . Also the cups are styrofoam. Is this place going bankrupt and they are trying to save on cost? If so their strategy isn't working. Your are paying more for less and I won't be going back so long as it's like that. There are other ramen places in town at similar prices that serve with utensils that don't bend when you try to use them. read more
