This ramen was amazing!!! I had the rich ramen and it was so rich (hence the name) and flavorful. I added some sriracha to give a light spice and It was some of the best ramen I've had. . The only thing is that it was packed with sliced garlic, it was waaaay too much for my liking. My friend ordered a dry noodle dish which took forever to come and they accidentally added a piece of chicken (she is vegetarian). I eat here almost once a week, most of the time, the girl named Jojo helps my party and has phenomenal service!! She is able to memorize orders and is always checking on our table! Tonight, there was a lady I've never seen before, I asked for her name, (strictly for this review). Her name was Tabytha (not sure how to spell it). She was very rude And talking very loud. I really wanted to like this place but it was so bland. I got the spicy chicken ramen and added an extra topping. The broth tasted like a can of chicken broth, was close to being too salty and had an almost fishy smell to it? The broth on its own wasn't spicy the spice was in the toppings and once I added the spice it made it worse. The spicy was honestly just crushed pepper paste so it made the broth taste like sriracha (not really my vibe for $14 ramen). The chicken was surprisingly dry and the rest of the toppings were ok. Not off to a great start! Nobody greeted us, and the server girl seemed bothered that we interrupted her cleaning by walking in and asking if we could be seated. She then proceeded to bring us three menus (we're a party of 5) and dropped them on the table without saying anything or making eye contact with anyone. Unfortunately, the service did not get better. I ordered the chili lime cilantro and it was OK, not terrible.. However, the service left a bad taste in my mouth. We also asked for some chili paste, and upon receiving the bill noticed they charged us .50 cents-- tacky. I don't mind paying, but say something. Came here with my husband for date night and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were very courteous and the food was tasty! We had the spicy vegan ramen (don't order it if you don't like garlic), agedashi tofu, veggie gyoza, and vegetable tempura. Everything was delicious especially the agedashi tofu. It was creamy and had a nice mild flavor, reminded me of a good ricotta cheese. The ramen was tasty and had a hint of spice. They do add lots of garlic and raw onion so be aware if you're not a garlic and onion fan. The gyoza and tempura were good but a little greasy. I was so excited to try this place because it is so cute on the outside and today I saw that it is even cuter on the inside. The place is usually full with folx and the food smells good. The service was amazing here. So, you can see why I really wanted to like this place. Okay, let's start with the food which I got a few things, but I'll start with the ramen. I got the spicy shrimp miso ramen that's on the menu and after trying it I can see why. The broth and noodles were pretty bland. Plus the shrimps were over cooked. I'm used to pho needing to be seasoned, but the beauty of ramen is it's usually rich in flavor. Not this one because it needed salt and pepper and extra limes, but the broth was still bland afterwards. And get this?! They charge an extra dollar for extra limes... never have I ever heard of such, especially if your ramen needs it. Other items I got off the menu were Thai tea which was okay, but tasted better the more you drink it. The egg rolls were really yummy and probably the best thing I ordered. The calamari tentacles were chewy, so definitely over cooked, but had a good flavor. The seaweed salad was okay. The two dollar melon bar was the second best the thing on the menu, but those ingredients were not natural flavors. There were a lot of young couples and families in the restaurant. Tonight my boyfriend and I had the pleasure of dining at LOVE RAMEN in Lancaster, CA. Let me start by saying that I grew up in the High Desert, and it is a food desert in more ways than one; however, this restaurant was a pleasant surprise especially for being open less than a year. Despite its location, the ambiance transports diners out of the desert and into a warm, busy shop. We started with the takoyaki, which were served piping hot with a perfect balance of flavor, lovely texture, and amazing level of umami thanks to the fish flake garnish. It was the perfect starter aside from there being an odd number for the portion size that will be sure to start a battle over who gets the last piece. They also had some of the best tasting thai iced tea that I've had in a long time and quick service without making customers feel rushed. When it comes to the ramen, we had the Tonkatsu Black which had a beautifully rich broth and was mild despite the sauce, and the Tonkatsu Shoyu which was delicately flavored. The ramen was not served as hot as traditional restaurants, but it was easier to dig into and the egg was a solid medium boil making it more palatable for varied tastes. Though the prices were very reasonable, I did find myself wanting more meat, especially considering the decent portion size. The dessert of matcha ice cream was the weakest part of the meal in that it needed more matcha and sweetener and the mochi ice cream is the same kind you could get at Walmart. Overall, we left very pleased with our meal. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a change of pace here in the desert. read more

Came here for the first time about 2 weeks ago on a Thursday evening. They were pretty busy, as every table was taken. They had seats right outside the door, where we sat and waited, so I'm assuming they must be busy pretty often. Once we were seated and ordered, our food came pretty fast. I ordered tomato ramen and it was sooo yummy. I also shared shrimp tempura with my friend who ordered the spicy ramen. He said he really liked his as well. I ordered my picky eating son some fries, chicken karaage, and a small mini noodle bowl. He wasn't feeling any of it. Oh well, I tried. My boy is picky as hell and he has loads of food allergies, so it is what it is. I tried. A lot of what I ordered for my son was left untouched because the Ramen bowls are huge and we were so full. I felt a little bad when the owner asked if we wanted to pack any of it to take home and I declined. We were just so full... Definitely plan on returning and trying more stuff next time. The only reason I left one star off is because every time I asked my server for something, an extra bowl, a fork, a straw, she would say ok, and never come back. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't something that I was super excited to finish. 7/10 The waitress really wanted us to get a small plate, so I caved and got a plate of edamame. It smelled kind of... pastoral. Like in the cow poop sort of way. They tasted fine when I wasn't breathing in through my nose, but I think some of the traditional Chinese spices on it just really didn't jive with me in the smell department when I wasn't plugging my nose. I came here because my Sunday Pho place was closed for random reasons. I'd also wanted to try here because we go to Ramen Boy often and I kept meaning to give Love ramen a go. I didn't love it at all. I had to go to the counter to ask for my check and wait on the 2 girls to finish their conversation and then lastly, this chicken was super hard and over fried. I took one bite and asked for it to be removed. Although one of the girls agreed that it was a terrible appetizer, they stated that since it's a family business, they can't take items off the check. Love Raman, is the right name for this place. First off the food is excellent!!! Excellence is an understatement, the food is fabulous. Love Ramen has a large selection of ramens "obviously", soup, dry ramans and a variety of other dishes. The great thing about this restaurants that it is vegan friendly so there are vegan dishes for my vegan peeps out there. Love Ramen carries some of the best Thai Tea in the AV, and the hot tea is always freshly brewed. The hostesses are friendly, attentive and I believe the owner greets us at our table every single time we come in, which is always nice. The restaurant itself is clean, tables are cleaned immediately once a person leaves. The restrooms are tidy and fresh. Side note, Schooners is right next store and if your looking to eat Vegan or just have a nice meal before hanging out this would be the place my friends. Totally recommend this place. Real all-day pork broth is what makes good ramen. This place has it! I had the Spicy ramen and it was delicious! Rich broth, spicy at about a 5 (which builds as you eat it). I prefer this place over Raizel Ramen in Palmdale. Yum! They also have brothless ramen, which I would like to try sometime, and chicken broth based ramen for those who don't eat pork.
