The first time I came here the service and my nails were done excellent. This second time I came, it really ruined my mood for the rest of the day. Sheila was the lady helping me out and she was being so rude and treating me like a child telling me don't do this or don't do that. On top of that I had told her I still had gel on one of my nails and she laughed at me and told me I was wrong. How ruder can she get?! Lastly, not only was it terrible service from her, but my gel mani came out TERRIBLE! To the point where I'm going somewhere else to get them done again. NEVER coming here again. read more

They charged me 5 dollars to take off my gel on my feet just because I wasn't getting gel again .. it makes me mad but I will never return here again . Went in and it was not busy at all but they took forever to start on my pedicure. Only 5 workers with 3 customers, one customer was offered something to drink and a snack while she waited to get treatment and I was not offered anything at all. When I put my feet in the water it was warm and nice but the girl left me there long she didn't add anything to the water and it was cold! She charged me a lot for a simple pedicure no scrub at all. Then I asked for a full set and I asked for coffin lady didn't do coffin shape at all and my nails started to crack and one broke off after 3 days!! I have never in my experiences had this happen to me. I WILL NEVER go back here again!!! I did say something about my pedicure and full set but nothing was done. They said oh once I file it will be good. They took forever by the time they were done I just wanted to get out! Too expensive for the crappy job they did In the pics of my nails one side is straight and one side is cut to an angle of "coffin shape" and from the cuticles is cracking already. I've been to several different nail salons throughout the years & I found one that I liked a lot but they closed shop so I was in need of a new place, my sister and mom recommended that I try this place they go to in Montclair called Lovely nails and I'm very picky but I gave it a shot anyways, Donna the owner of the nail salon helped me and she was and is very friendly all the ladies there know who I am and greet me by my name. Donna does an amazing job. I have not broken any nails since I started going there and that was a little over a year ago. I never feel rushed either. I do recommend this nail salon to others all the time. Very inexpensive and just an overall friendly place and great customer service. read more

Rudest place ever. I went there for first time. First they were talking and laughing because I couldn't find a color then I asked the lady if she could cut my nails before she applied a full set. She said no she would cut them after. I asked her again. She got upset and said that's how she's been doing them for years and she dont care. I refused her to do my nails and she rudely said she didn't care she is a very rude old bitter lady. She wouldn't even try to reason with me. PLEASE DON'T GIVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO A PLACE THAT DOES NOT CAR ABOUT YOU AS A PERSON. VERY VERY UNHEALTHY ENVIRONMENT. THIS IS A MISERABLE PLACE RAN BY UNHAPPY PEOPLE. After I left that horrible place I went across the street to DIAMOND NAILS. nicest people ever. So personable and inviting. They made me feel so welcome. Came to get a gel manicure after a place in Pomona did a horrible job and I have to say Lee does the best HANDS DOWN gel manicure ever . She takes a very long time but that's exactly what I ask for because she is very detailed on getting everything right the first time . This time around I also got a pedicure with Rose and oh my god she is amazing . I had very painful ingrown nails and she took them out carefully to where it didn't hurt . She gave an amazing foot massage and I even paid extra to get a neck and back massage which was definitely worth it . I happened upon this place because my dad wanted to go to Best Buy (same shopping center) and I desperately was in need for a mani/pedi. My first impression was that the staff was pleasant and the salon was clean. I decided to give it a shot since I am in need of finding a new nail salon. I was delighted with the service! Rose did my Pedicure and Lisa did my manicure. Both ladies were a delight and both were gentle, which was a relief because the past few nail salons I've gone to did not make for a pleasant experience. This place is ridiculous. The first time I went Donna fixed my nails that I had gotten done at another shop. I was so pleased with her work that I decided to go again. The second time Donna was not available, they told me it would be a 30 min wait which I was fine with. Then they point in the direction of I believe her name is rose and tell me she can do my nails. OMG , HORRIBLE. I don't think she had ever done acrylics before, half way through she switched with another lady Lee. She even told me that rose only does manicures, so why would they tell me she could help me? Made no sense. Anyways, not even a week later my nails lifted and looked hideous. I'm a guy, with terrible feet. They are gross, but I am working on making them more healthy. Along with taking a aggressive anti-fungal medicine daily for three months, I decided that I should leave my feet nail grooming to professionals. I've only been doing this for a few months. Every place I've been too has been great, but I have been to this shop multiple times. It's close, clean, not too expensive, and I have had great service each time. Some of the workers are more chatty than others (which I like) but all are pleasant. It's pretty typical. You get your feet soaked, nails trimmed and cuticles cleaned. You also sit in a massage chair and get a mini foot and leg massage with lotion and oil. The experience is about 25 minutes. I don't get my nails painted because that's not me but I may ask for the clear coat next time. Definitely will keep coming back. read more
