The gluten-free vegan chocolate cake was amazing! The service was also good. The veggie burger was not as good however. I would go back.

I just moved to the area from Chicago. I was worried I wasn't going to have many vegetarian (let alone vegan) places to patron in Fort Wayne. Well, after my first visit today to Loving Cafe, I was able to cast aside those doubts. Knowing this place exists, I can now more comfortably settle into my new community. The service was so genuine and friendly. The food was probably the best vegan food I've ever had. So, so good. I had the "cheesy" quinoa and potato kale soup. It was incredibly satisfying. I walked out paying less than $10 for a healthy, sustainable meal. I'll so be back. read more

I'm not a strict vegan or vegetarian but do not eat a whole lot of meat. If I could eat at Loving Cafe every day I wouldn't even miss meat! I've been here twice now and have had the BBQ sandwich, the Harmony sandwich, the white chili, and the spring rolls. On the sandwiches, the faux meat is perfect, the vegetables are fresh, and the bread is toasted perfectly. The spring rolls and white chili leave nothing to be desired. They are perfect in every way. The staff are friendly and courteous. The atmosphere is cafe-like with a few tables available for outside seating as well. I highly recommend this restaurant to vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters alike. read more

Love this place! The location could be better and the wait is sometimes long but the food is great! I love the "turkey club," and its even great for someone who isn't all about this type of food. My third visit at the cafe and the best so far! We ordered the kale and potato soup and the corn chowder - both were excellent! I thoroughly enjoyed my Thai curry and would recommend it. LOVING cafe. Oh, I need some Loving for sure. I turned around and thought I would try it. I had no idea what to order, so the super sweet lady behind the counter helped me. "You have spring roll, you have special cabbage soup. You like" I actually loved it. I also loved the soothing asian music and the fact that she came out to make sure I liked it twice. I felt loved. I've been a vegetarian for 20 years and had despaired of Fort Wayne ever having this type of restaurant. Despair no more! Food is flavorful and varied; Indian, Chinese, Thai and American, the choices are fantastic. I've brought many of my carnivore friends to check it out and I take immense pleasure in watching their astonishment as they take their first bites! Some of the "fake" meat is so realistic that they can't tell it's not meat! The atmosphere is very calming and pleasant, as are all the staff. This place is great. The food is extremely fresh and there's a wide variety of options. The staff is also very friendly. The food here is pretty good and at a very low price... definitely cheaper than most places around Fort Wayne that aren't even half as healthy. The food here isn't super fancy and seems like it is more for a transitional vegetarian/vegan because most items on the menu have fake meat in it (which is my only complaint). They've done it again! I stopped in to Loving Cafe at lunch to grab a couple spring rolls and while I was there I decided to try "The Harmony" sandwich which includes vegan chicken & vegan turkey on a panini bread. When I got back to the office and opened up the sandwich I was a bit disappointed to find that it didn't have any "mayonaisse" or "cheese" and instead there was some pinkish spread on it and cucumber. I was getting ready to pick off the cucumber when instead I took a bite and.... WOW! They've done it again! I was only planning on eating 1/2 the sandwich since I had spring rolls but it was so amazing that I ended up eating the whole thing! Vegan is OK if it tastes like this. I love my meat but this is tasty. The pineapple sandwich, best fake meat, quinao salad and Golden soup are my faves. The location is right off Coldwater and easy to get to and see off the road. Not much personality but quick and Asian efficiency. Very creative foods on menu up top of front counter. Its your anti-burger joint which is a fresh idea. White bread and fatty meats are out of style, pale and boring. Go Loving! read more

This is a great place experience vegan food. The mushroom and pistachio soup was creamy and a great starter. Then I had the sweet and sour stir fry that had a great faux chicken in it. Broccoli, colored peppers, onions,and pineapple, you may think your at your favorite Chinese restaurant. Double decker sandwiches, tossed salads.All so incredible, you forget its vegan. Wonderful place. All the staff was very kind, and it was very clean. The food was absolutely great. I had the Blt sandwich and a bowl of potato soup with cheesecake for dessert. The potato soup was so unique from any potato soup I have ever had, it was so delicious! I must try to replicate it since unfortunately I live three hours away (I was just passing through on my way home when I stopped). The cheesecake was also to die for. This restaurant is 5 star place anywhere but to find it in Ft. Wayne is a miracle. The food is sumptuous with great flavors and lots of choices even if someone is unaccustomed to eating vegan-vegetarian they will appreciate great food. The portobello mushroom sandwich was comfort food at its best. The aloe-lemonade was the best lemonade I have ever had. The udon noodle dish needed no condiments so well prepared with fresh broccoli, snap peas, carrots and other vegetables. I had a great salad with a special dressing. This is worth going to wherever you live. They do know advertising but through word of mouth and reputation. read more
