It's a warm, clean restaurant with an all vegan menu. There is a station for ordering once you walk in, but if you sit at the table they will take your order quickly there after bringing water to the table. They come soon to take your food order and food arrives quickly, but they are slow to bring the check and follow up even though not many people are in the restaurant. The green juice is mostly foam which is disappointing. The curry and general Tso are both flavorful and yummy. Both are better with the rice, 3$ for small and 6$ for large. Plethora of food options on the menu. If you're a vegan or lactose intolerant this place is a definite. If you're a normie foodie, choose wisely. Enjoy

Flavors were ok but one dish was super hard to eat with its sloppy, huge stalks. That Green Forest dish is a choking hazard. Lemograss dish was good with its crunchy protein but not the best Ive had. The add on veggies does not do anything but make the protein get soggy. Service was decent. Cleanliness was questionable. After visiting the urine facility, from my seat I noticed a female cook "assist" the young server who was packing rice. The young server was using a spoon and this older female cook took the rice in her hands and shoved it in box. She looked up and made eye contact and quickly used a spoon to take off excess rice but that already was enough to make me question whether my food was safely prepared. Sorely disappointed with this location. I had high expectations from being a regular patron at the Elk Grove location. The menu was too much and not similar to other locations. Portion was not worth the prices. I do not recommend. My visit was

VEGETARIANS, REJOICE!! Ambiance: This place is actually so cute on the inside! It's clean and modern and there's plenty of tables. The plaza it's located in has tons of parking and plenty of dessert/boba places nearby for an after dinner treat. Service: Our waitress was super nice and took time to answer our questions. The woman bringing out the food was also very friendly! Food: I pretty much liked everything we ordered but the best thing was the BUN HUE! If you are a converted vegetarian, this will hit the spot if you've been crying over the loss of the original BBH. The GENERAL TSO is crispy and savory and the SPICY CHA CHA was just like popcorn shrimp. I like them but i'll probably try something different next time since the menu's pretty big! Price: It's around $10-15 each item so I would say it's very decent considering the amount of food you're getting. Wait: We came one hour before closing and there was only a 10 minute wait for the food so service is pretty fast!

Service was slow! The place is well decorated and is vibrant. The food was a an interesting fusion, but I'd definitely recommend the pad thai

this is an amazing vegan restaurant in the milpitas square. my family and i always order to go here and they're pretty quick. everything we ordered in the image i added had about a 15 minute wait time which is not too bad in my opinion. we just walked around as we waited for our food to be ready. when i did eat inside the restaurant with my family once, the servers were really nice and the service was quick. the food itself: amazing. our favorite thing here is the spicy cha cha shrimp (in my opinion, not spicy at all though). it is very crispy and flavorful served on top of lettuce and topped with chilis. my next fav is the gourmet fried rice. those are probably my top two dishes from here. very good restaurant spot whether you're vegan or not, go try this place out!

Only reason it doesnt get 1 star is because the employees were nice. I came in on a weekday night and there was one table. I was quickly sat and upon seating realized the alive and crawling roach seated directly across me at my booth. I asked the lady to move seats and pointed the bug out. I should've left but I felt bad since I was seated and the place was basically empty. I ordered the Spicy Cha Cha because it was the first item listed as popular on the yelp page. It's supposed to be like spicy fried shrimp. I doesn't taste like anything except batter. It's like 90% fried batter and 10% actual shrimp substitute. It also tasted stale. It wasn't really seasoned except the peppers that were on the table. Super disappointed by this place. Honestly might be the worst vegan food I've had. A roach or bad food by itself would've been like mildly upsetting but both simultaneously especially on my first visit is incredibly upsetting.

We came here on a busy Lunar New Year and surprisingly lucked out with seating. The service was slow, but completely understandable due to how busy it was. The spot has plenty of space, and the ambiance was quite pleasant. We ordered a couple of dishes such as Gourmet Fried Rice, Green Forest, and General Tso. Gourmet Fried Rice - Super tasty fried rice with generous servings. It's packed with flavor! I couldn't stop reaching over to grab more of this dish! Green Forest - Chinese broccoli stir-fried with beefless strips and jalapeno in a garlic sauce. Loved the garlic flavor with every bite, and the beefless strips were plentiful. General Tso - Amazing flavor, with just a light kick of spice. It's packed with so much flavor, so make sure to pair it with a noodle or rice dish. Overall, Loving Hut was delicious. Despite the insane rush, they cooked everything perfectly, and every dish was a joy to eat. Definitely no corners cut with this location. I'm not a big vegan guy, but I know exactly where to go to grab some dope vegan food.

I went back and forth between 3 and 4 stars. The restaurant was clean. The staff SEEMED friendly. The waiter seated me and forgot about me. The restaurant was pretty empty. There were only 2 other parties. They seemed to be distracted with another customer that came in and complained why there were a $10 price difference between ordering on Yelp and in-dining. After 10 minutes of waiting, I took my menu to the register to order my food. I got Thai iced tea and Tom Ka Thai soup. The tea was 3 stars. There was nothing wrong with the drink besides the fact that it was some what tasteless. The soup was tasty. I like the fact that it came in a sizzling pot. I would have giving it 4 stars but there weren't that much toppings, mostly soup. I am not a big eater but I ran out of toppings to eat with the rice (that didn't come with the meal). My total bill came out to be $25 (without tips). I find that to be kind of pricy considering the service provided, the quantity and quality of the food. Good experience. Not sure if I will come back.

Nestled in a corner of the Asian side of McCarthy Ranch, is this worthwhile Vegan restaurant. The inside is spacious with a hint of "luxurious" diner decor. This is what we ordered: Potstickers: Quite tasty. On the smaller side, but definitely curbed our appetite for dumplings that were slightly crispy on the bottom. The filling had a satisfying "meaty" texture. Bun Bo hue: Just okay. Could use more spice and more "meat" like seitan. We found one mushroom instead of several. Flavor needed a bit more kick. Rolling Tango: By far our favorite dish of the meal. Crispy and coated with sauce. Nice crunch and texture. Would definitely order this again. Can't wait to try other dishes the next time we visit.

4.5 stars rounded up. Loving Hut is an Asian restaurant with traditional flavors but completely vegan with lots of options for mock meats and also healthy alternatives (e.g. brown rice). The dining room is covered with posters of famous vegetarians and has several booths with a few other freestanding tables. There is a counter at the front for takeout orders and also features a pastry case which looks craveworthy (I would dive headfirst into that tiramisu if I wasn't on a temporary restricted diet.) We ordered the Saigon Rolls with vegan shrimp, General Tso's with soy protein, Basil fried rice (just Basil, not spicy), and the Chinese broccoli stirfry. The Saigon rolls were a solid 4 stars. The vegan shrimp had a good texture, not too rubbery. The fresh mint was so key. The peanut sauce had some fresh crushed peanuts on time, but wasn't as flavorful as I'd hoped. Chinese broccoli is a favorite of mine, and this did not disappoint. It was fresh and crisp with a light white sauce (garlic and ginger). The portion size was large and I was happy to bring some home even after eating a lot with my meal. (I also love the Green Forest dish with Chinese broccoli and vegan beef). The fried rice was spot on, just a classic Chinese version. I wished for a little more tofu. Unfortunately, the basil looked a bit last it's prime and so the herb flavor didn't really come through. The highlight was really the General Tso. The soy protein had such great texture that I had to check that it was in fact soy (had a gluten/seitan texture). The sauce was spicy but not overwhelming (despite the large number of chilis in the dish). I had to stop myself from overindulging because the combo of the textures and savory sauce was addicting. Service was prompt and food came out quickly. We did have to flag down the waiter for a question mid-meal since the restaurant got busy with some large family groups. I haven't had a bad menu item yet, and I highly recommend this over the version in Valley Fair Mall (never fun to eat stuff that has been sitting around for a long time). I want to come back when it's cold for their noodle soups.

Vegan Asian-inspired dishes that will leave you feeling good and satisfied? Heck yes! I've had the Loving Hut in Westfield Mall which operates more as a vegan take-out, so I was excited to see what this larger store front would be able to deliver. I took my Mom here to show her that I can eat more than simply greens. My fellow plant-based community members will understand the joys of trying to explain this concept to family members and friends. The first thing I noticed walking in was how spacious the dining area was. My Mom and I were able to sit ourselves and I saw some of the workers folding dumplings a few tables away. It truly felt like being at a Chinese restaurant and I loved it. There was only one server at the time but luckily it was not a busy lunch hour. We ordered a few dishes to try including their Pad Thai ($13) (Mom chose this), Cumin Seitan ($12), and Twice Cooked Tofu ($13). They were also able to accommodate my request for light salt/sugar, though the last item proved quite salty still so I'm not sure if they actually did reduce the sodium. I still appreciate the gesture and option nonetheless, and also love that they named the item as they were (i.e. seitan) instead of calling it chick'n or something similar. The Pad Thai confused the heck out of me. It came out first and was on a very large rectangular plate, and did not taste like pad thai at a Thai restaurant at all. It seemed to omit tamarind paste (a key ingredient) or it was heavily held back, as it tasted more tomato-y and sweet than anything. The cumin seitan was pretty good and I enjoyed the tofu as well, although it was definitely still too salty. We ended up taking it home and cooking it over with other veggies in order to cut the saltiness a bit. So overall, the main dishes were good but could use a bit more work to make them stellar. I loved their takeout at the mall so I hope they can fix some of these kinks to really deliver greatness. I did get to try a slice of their Mango Cake ($6) and my Mom was surprised at how similar and fluffy it is to the version normally baked with eggs. I'm glad I was able to help break down some more preconceived notions of vegan dining for her in smaller baby steps.

Does this restaurant do no onion and no garlic dishes? If so which dishes?

Yes, most dishes with onion and garlic can be made onion- and garlic-free if you check by dish in their menu: https://www.lovinghutveganexpress.com/s/order#24

    Is indoor dining open?

    Yes

Does this place have an outdoor patio for dining?

Yes. We have outdoor dining area.

Just want to confirm, everything is vegan including desserts? Asking because grub hub labels some as vegetarian

Yes all their desserts are Vegan too!

Can I still use my Groupon for takeout?

What product(s) do they use to mimic the meat, poultry and seafoood products?

It varies. For some products it is soy and/or mushroom protein, but things like the vegan shrimp are made from konjaku or yam flour. They also have dishes where tofu is the stand in, or there just might not be a specific stand-in for meat at all.

The roti prata was definitely one of my favorites and perfect for dipping into the curry. The curry itself was rich, flavorful, and comforting without being overly heavy. The noodles were also satisfying with a nice balance of savory flavors and good texture. For dessert, I tried the pandan panna cotta. The presentation was nice, but personally it wasn't my favorite compared to the savory dishes. The pandan flavor was lighter than I expected, though it was still creamy and refreshing. Service was friendly and the food came out fairly quickly. The vibe is casual and lively, making it a great spot for sharing multiple dishes with friends or family. Overall, a really enjoyable meal with standout savory items I'd come back for the roti prata and curry again.

The Chinese sausage pieces sprinkled throughout added extra flavor too. The bowl is deep so there seemed to be roughly 5 cups of rice. I came here on a Friday evening with my friend to grab dinner around 6:00 PM. The wait was around an hour, so be very prepared if you're coming during the dinner rush. This spot is located where the majority of the Asian restaurants are in Milpitas, so it's safe to say the parking can get a bit hectic and intense. The interior of the place is very bright, modern, and clean. There is a lot of seating for a small space, but the reason they are so busy has a lot to do with the number of people wanting to check this spot out. When you sit down, you scan their virtual menu via QR code and order there instead of through a server. You have the choice to order on one phone as a group or separately. Between my friend and me, we ordered a beef mint salad, fried tofu, confit mushrooms, and truffle mushroom rice. I will say that when we first got the fried tofu and confit mushrooms, we were quite surprised by the small portions compared to the price. That said, they were delicious, but skippable if you're trying to find the best bang for your buck. What I absolutely would recommend is their truffle mushroom fried rice. This might have been my best bite this month. It was so savory, the mushrooms hit perfectly, and the coating of butter on the rice was supreme. It was $28 for a bowl, but it was a good value to split between two people. Overall, this place had great, fast service (our food came out in under 10 minutes), a nice ambiance, and fresh, flavorful food.

Clear broth, comes with an assortment of vegan proteins, and it's been consistent every single time over the years. Best had in cold weather. The spicy noodle soup is solid too but it doesn't hit the same way. The SP4 gourmet deluxe is my other staple and I order it like an appetizer. The protein comes out fried with a crispy shell and soft inside. The sauce leans hard on lemongrass and citrus but it's savory throughout, not sweet. Haven't had anything like it anywhere else. Orange nuggets are chewy with a citrusy and sweet glaze. Good enough that I skip the actual appetizers for these. The Szechuan Pineapple is spicy, salty, and savory with chewy gluten and a citrus undertone running through it. Green papaya salad is strictly sour and tangy. Fresh, nothing heavy about it. Sweet potato curry is definitely underrated. Potato goes soft all the way through and the whole thing tastes hearty without being heavy. Basil eggplant tofu skews sweet and the eggplant goes silky and it's a family favorite. Eggplant claypot has the same idea but the sauce is better and it comes out in the claypot which makes it feel like a proper dish. Jalapeno BBQ seitan was a miss. The BBQ sauce tastes flat.
