First time trying this food kiosk! Yummy in the tummy, the kimchi really enhanced the flavor. Service: staff are nice and friendly. Ambiance: it's a part of the Great Mall so it's in the food court..

This is in the food court in Great Mall in Milpitas. I got a chicken bowl with rice and noodles and it was very tasty. It was very filling. I got the soy sauce chicken and it was good. I would eat here again.

I love this place because it has a lot of good Korean fusion food and lots of great poke options. Staff was good on recommendations on what I should get based on their own experiences. I'll eventually be back here!

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaan I hate giving out bad reviews but I thought about it and I just couldn't do 3 stars. Like it's one thing to be mid but to be not good and also pricey that's just a killer. Tacos(soy sauce chicken) [$15, $23 Uber eats, $12 after Uber eats bogo]: the flavor was ok. Prob would have been better off the tortillas were crispy instead of soggy. That may or may not have been due to take out... I'll never know. But honestly it was just ok. Lot of protein but kind felt like it was missing something maybe it needs an avocado. Tacos(beef bulgogi): same issues as the other tacos but the beef bulgogi tasted better imo maybe from the sauce. Ddeoboki: Alright here's where it really gets bad...I think I kinda understand the concept... Is like a fried ddeoboki and the sauce is like more of a fusion sauce that you kinda find on sushi rolls. Lol I felt like it could have used more sauce which is ironic given the name of the restaurant. It tasted dry and kinda chewy but not in a good way...chewy like old and dry. Wasn't good at all Overall, I dunno if it was a bad day or cause I ordered at the end of the day at like 7pm so it's all leftover food but ya everything just was kinda cold/old. I feel like they have a good concept but I feel like they gotta keep the quality control better. At these prices tho it'll be awhile before I come back

With all these chains at the Great Mall food court, I wanted something different. I like Korean food and was intrigued by this Korean street food place. Placed an order on their kiosk. And they just gave a time to come back in a text. So I walked away to find a seat. The place is pretty packed on a weekend. We had to circle around a bit but found a place. I went back in about 10 minutes - they had given me an ETA of 15 minutes. I saw what looked like my bowl sitting there so I asked the worker and she handed over my food. I walked back to my table and then I finally got my text that my food was ready 5 minutes later. Not sure why there was such a delay. If it's ready - just text me. I prefer my food hot and not just sitting there. Anyways I got a bowl with bulgogi. The bulgogi was $2 extra. They had a variety of other proteins, like chicken, pork, tofu, and veggies. You can pick the base for the bowl also. I got half rice and half salad. They also put a small layer of japchae/glass noodles also. Also tasted some kimchi in there too. However I was not a fan of the bulgogi. It was dry and very salty. I was not a fan. I could not eat it all in one sitting. I actually had it the next days and added way more rice and veggies to spread out the saltiness. I would not recommend the bulgogi and I'm sad I had to pay extra for it. I may try their other proteins but what I did have was meh.

Absolutely delicious! We went on the day they were celebrating their 1-year anniversary, so we ended up getting a free plate of their tteokbokki. Service was quick even with the long line, but there's even a self order kiosk if anyone needed one We ordered the Saucy Asian and their Burrito bowl - their bulgogi beef and the shrimp were all delicious. The Burrito bowl didn't have too many jalepeños but the tteokbokki was enough to bring enough heat. We can't wait to go again to try other items on their menu!

Recently opened at the foot court inside Great Mall. This store offered a selection of fusion Asian bowls, burritos, poke bowls, tacos and more. We got the signature saucy Asian bowl with chicken and a saucy Asian poke bowl with salmon. Both bowls came with flavorful and creamy sauce that was slightly sweet. The chicken was tender. We chose mixed veggie and rice as the base, which gave us a balanced amount of veggies and carbs. The store was located at the foot court, so sitting was shared with other stores there. It was a convenient spot for a quick lunch when shopping at Great Mall.

Japchae - 5/5 Bigger portion than I thought for the cost! Lots of flavor. Soy Chicken Cali Burrito - 5/5 Flavorful chicken, crispy fries, yummy sauce, big portion. No complaints at all. Great lunch option!

Friendly staff and quick service! After an afternoon stroll and shopping spree, I passed through the food court on the hunt for some vegan food. I hadn't seen this restaurant before and did not want food from a typical chain. I then saw tofu on their menu and ordered their Saucy Asian bowl. It was very filling and tasty! If it were served on a plate I might have thought I was in a nice Asian-fusion restaurant. I would definitely come back for more.

2 touch screens for orders, quick and friendly service. It took a while to get our order so sit right! Popular place. We got the saucy asian bowl and saucy Asian fries. Saucy Asian bowl we got with japchae, the pork was a little salty but went well with the salad and japchae. 4/5 Saucy Asian fries were not good. The fries tasted like they were days old, very hard and unpleasant even though the topping was nice. 2/5

Had a great time eating at this restaurant! It's a new location that opened up recently in great mall. They serve Korean Mexican fusion dishes from burritos with Korean meat and bibimbap. It's a hot new restaurant that's popular. It took about 10 minutes for our order to come in and we sat down at the food court to eat. It was a fair price for $15 per item. The burrito was very filling, with my choice of meat as soy garlic chicken. The avocado cream was delicious and refreshing. I was happy with my selection and i hope this restaurant thrives! Can't wait to see this place again!

    Island poke
    Sarah D.

The photos of poke bowls for this restaurant were so enticing, so I made plans to try them the next time I was at this mall. I really loved how affordable the food was here. For a poke bowl that leaves you full, anything less than $20 is a steal. I ordered their Island Poke (combo, rice and greens, and fish combo, salmon and tuna). The fish was fresh and we were also given an ample amount. The rice was cooked amazingly, and I was also met with the surprise of fried wonton strips that actually added a nice crunchy texture and flavor to the bowl. The sauces were creamy and enhanced the flavors of the ingredients. There was a little bit more of sauce than I would have liked (can't eat too much fat), but I was able to look past that. The wait times for ordering and arrival of the food were not long. Affordability, ingredient quality, speed, and quantity made me leave as a satisfied foodie with the intent to return.

The Chinese sausage pieces sprinkled throughout added extra flavor too. The bowl is deep so there seemed to be roughly 5 cups of rice. Unfortunately the laksa shrimp fried rice was disappointing in comparison. It didn't have much flavor overall - better than plain rice but definitely needed more seasoning. The menu lists homemade laksa sauce as an ingredient but we didn't taste that, and the dish wasn't spicy at all either despite the 1 chili pepper rating. But it looked just like the menu picture so maybe the description is wrong. Fried chicken with tom yum sauce came with 6 pieces. Very juicy. We also enjoyed the herbal roasted prime steak with sausage rice. The delicious rice had the taste of fish sauce. Most of the short rib slices were soft and a few were slightly chewy but overall decent quality. Some of the fattier pieces of meat were still attached to the bone.

I came here on a Friday evening with my friend to grab dinner around 6:00 PM. The wait was around an hour, so be very prepared if you're coming during the dinner rush. This spot is located where the majority of the Asian restaurants are in Milpitas, so it's safe to say the parking can get a bit hectic and intense. The interior of the place is very bright, modern, and clean. There is a lot of seating for a small space, but the reason they are so busy has a lot to do with the number of people wanting to check this spot out. When you sit down, you scan their virtual menu via QR code and order there instead of through a server. You have the choice to order on one phone as a group or separately. Between my friend and me, we ordered a beef mint salad, fried tofu, confit mushrooms, and truffle mushroom rice. I will say that when we first got the fried tofu and confit mushrooms, we were quite surprised by the small portions compared to the price. That said, they were delicious, but skippable if you're trying to find the best bang for your buck. What I absolutely would recommend is their truffle mushroom fried rice. This might have been my best bite this month. It was so savory, the mushrooms hit perfectly, and the coating of butter on the rice was supreme. It was $28 for a bowl, but it was a good value to split between two people. Overall, this place had great, fast service (our food came out in under 10 minutes), a nice ambiance, and fresh, flavorful food.

Even after we finished the kwetiau, we still had to wait a bit longer for the nasi lemak to arrive. That said, the food was delicious and full of flavor. The roti prata was definitely one of my favorites and perfect for dipping into the curry. The curry itself was rich, flavorful, and comforting without being overly heavy. The noodles were also satisfying with a nice balance of savory flavors and good texture. For dessert, I tried the pandan panna cotta. The presentation was nice, but personally it wasn't my favorite compared to the savory dishes. The pandan flavor was lighter than I expected, though it was still creamy and refreshing. Service was friendly and the food came out fairly quickly. The vibe is casual and lively, making it a great spot for sharing multiple dishes with friends or family. Overall, a really enjoyable meal with standout savory items I'd come back for the roti prata and curry again.

I'm hesitant with coconut based broths sometimes as it can be too rich (or taste like the stabilizing gums) but this broth was tempered with spices and the perfect balance. Unfortunately the tofu tasted weird - like super sour, as if it had spoiled or something. The crunch noodles on top were wheat based instead of rice based to get the crunch but the flavor was so noticeably "wheat-y" that it didn't mesh well with the other dish flavors. The Thai tea was also diluted and not as strong as usual. But my friends pad kee mao tasted delicious so maybe just stick with the classics. They sat us outside on their lovely patio at two long tables to accommodate our group of 24. The first thing we noticed when we sat down was the customized menus they had prepared, with the name of our organization printed at the top which was a nice touch. The organizers had opted for a family style meal, so they basically just brought out several dishes of everything on the menu spread out across our tables. The restaurant was great about crafting a menu around dietary restrictions- about 1/3 of the group was vegetarian and we also had one vegan (me), and there were plentiful options for everyone. While vegan options were not labeled on the menu, the servers are very knowledgeable and let me know that out of our menu, all the vegetarian options except the roti prata were vegan (the roti has butter). As a result I was able to try the poh pia, wok fried eggplant, sayur lodeh, and kueh nagasari. They started first by bringing out the appetizers, I personally was not a huge fan of the poh pia, I really enjoyed the sauces but I didn't love the roll itself. However chicken satay was a huge hit, I think for many it was their favorite dish of the whole meal. I enjoyed the entrees a lot more, especially the wok fried eggplant which was so wonderfully tender. The sayur lodeh was also very good, however the curry could have been more flavorful- I didn't even realize it was supposed to be spicy until I looked again at the menu after the meal. We ended with kueh nagasari which was a coconut pudding for dessert, I thought this was delicious, except I think the shredded coconut inside the pudding should have been left out since it disrupted the creamy texture. Since we had leftovers after the meal the staff brought out a ton of takeout containers and we all left happily with food to take home. Overall the service and ambiance definitely made this lunch an amazing experience. The food was pretty good but nothing really blew me away, although I'm not sure if having to serve such a large group affected the food quality. I would definitely be willing to come back again to try some more of the menu.

Hansang Tofu checked every box between food, service, ambiance, parking... everything was on point. FOOD: 9/10 Every single banchan (side dish) they served was fresh and packed with flavor. I've been traumatized by restaurants serving funky-tasting kimchi or ban chan in general, so I was relieved that theirs tasted fresh and delicious. Honestly, all of the banchan were so, so good. I ordered the Naengmyeon (cold noodles), and this had to be one of the best bowls I've had. I really appreciated that they didn't skimp on the toppings. I've had naengmyeon elsewhere that was pretty bare, just buckwheat noodles, cold broth, and maybe a few strands of cucumber. Here, my bowl came with a hard boiled egg, two slices of beef, radish, cucumber, and a generous portion of noodles. The mustard and vinegar were ready and served on the side, as they should be. Their soy garlic wings were HELLA good. Perfectly double-fried, packed with flavor, piping hot, and the chicken was still juicy and moist inside. So good. SERVICE: 10/10 Friendly, kind, and efficient service!! Yes, yes, YES. We were greeted right away with such a warm, energetic welcome.
