    Our feast

The host was very great ensuing the wait time less frustrating by informing us every so often of the wait time. The food itself was upbeat and creative. We almost ordered everything in the menu and can't wait to return. The salty egg yoke was my favorite. Light and crispy, packed with the egg yoke that caramelized around the wings The sizzling beef noodles is a must too. The aromatic comes directly from the grill to your table. It's as fresh as it can be with the "wok hey". The other dishes were scrumptious too. You will not be disappointed.

Came here right before they opened up for dinner. The parking lot is always packed but to my surprise we got there right in time to get parking in front of the restaurant. There was a small line outside for people to get a dinner table. Fortunately we were able to get a table right away. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant was small but everything looked really clean. They have a huge menu that you can scan a QR code from and order from your phone. Lots of options that offer different types of protein. The food came out one at a time. The food itself was very flavorful and fresh. Tasted very savory. Portion size and prices were right on. Definitely get your money's worth. The restaurant filled up quickly and there was a waitlist. However, we did not feel rushed by the staff which was great. Ill Definitely be coming back here to try some more food.

I came here with a friend for lunch and we had a good time! We got here on a Thursday at around 1, and only had to wait 10 minutes before getting seated. Inside has lots of tables and was nicely decorated with a light green theme. The food came relatively fast, we ordered with the QR code by the side of our table. The food, however, was just fine. Flavor was lacking a bit, the baked pork chop was mostly tomato-ey, but I would love to taste more umami and sweetness. The seafood was very light, but again, needed more flavor. Overall we both had a good time though!

Now I know why this place is so popular! Luckily we didn't have to wait too long as we came near the end of lunch service. There's a yelp waitlist and when you get to the table - you order with your phone. Very easy peasy... We started off with drinks. Middle got the Grass Jelly Mega Ball Milk Tea that she LOVED and yes - they were MEGA Grass Jelly balls. Milk tea was milk tea but the grass jelly balls really provided the extra unique flavor! I got the pistachio Latte which I will say was "eh". Nothing special just a typical pistachio latte. It was a little too sweet for me. Hubby got the Orange Iced Americano and it was SO GOOD! So refreshing and much better than the Orange Coffee drink we get from another place which won't be named as they are way closer to our house BUT if we come to Uncle Cha - definitely a must try here!! We think it's the kind of orange juice/drink they add in... Now for the main dishes. Their Backed Cheesy Chicken Chop Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce is SO GOOD!! Though my middle wished it was a little more "tomatoey" but for me it was out of the park! Chicken was thick and tender with TONS of cheese on top and the spaghetti was perfectly al dente. Also they have a lot of chicken so it's pretty filling - but MAN the chicken was SO tender! We also got the Chicken and Pork Cutlet Pineapple Buns. Their pineapple bun had a nice crunchy top - a great vehicle for the thick juicy chicken and very flavorful pork cutlet. We also got the Salted Egg Yolk Fried Chicken Wings. I LOVE anything salted egg and unfortunately this one didn't crisp up so it was really a crispy fried chicken wing. And the salted egg yolk was a bit muted. I typically love the salted egg yolk fried pumpkin at XLB and was thinking something like that but on chicken but unfortunately it was good but not a wow! We also got the Uncle Omurice with Unagi. I think next time we will order the Ultimate Cheesy Tamago Bowl with Eel & Beef. We saw another table order that and it looked amazing. Somehow the Uncle Omurice with Unagi was lacking in sauce and flavor - too much rice and not enough unagi and the egg didn't really enhance anything. Overall we loved it but think there are some hit and misses on some of the dishes but am willing to go back and try more dishes and drinks. Service as good and they're fast and cleaning table and seem to get the food out quick

I stopped by here on Memorial Day seven minutes before doors opened and happened to time the line right before it grew five times in size. If you're not seated in first seating, you'll definitely be waiting a few hours to get your food. Between our party, we shared a bunch of different items. Although social media has been hyping up Uncle Cha non-stop, the food fell short on multiple fronts. The item I was personally most excited about trying was the pineapple bun with pork and chicken cutlet. Like another reviewer pointed out, many in my party did not enjoy the texture of the pineapple bun. The expectation was that the pineapple bun would be soft and fluffy but it was far too crispy, and tasted almost a bit too dry, or possibly stale. The meat inside was cooked well, and I liked the honey mustard in one of the buns, but the bun itself was a miss. For the sizzling pepper beef over spaghetti, the dish was too salty, had too much cornstarch added, and was not peppery enough. With the unagi plate with tornado egg, the egg was silky, glistening, and very pretty to look at atop of the mount of rice, but there was simply not enough of it. The unagi was fine, but tasted no different than the ones you pick-up next door from the freezer section at Ranch 99 and re-heat in an oven. Lastly, for the baked pork chop, there was not enough tomato flavor in the sauce. While service was quick, attentive and efficient, the food here was honestly a bit mid and is not worth waiting hours in line for. Don't trust everything you see on social media.

Finally checked out Uncle Cha Fusion Cafe! I've been seeing all the hype online and hearing about the crazy lines, so I had to see what it was all about. You definitely need to get here early because the wait gets long fast. I came before they opened and was able to get seated immediately when they opened. The menu has a lot of fun, unique HK cafe-style dishes. For my own meal, the standouts were definitely the baked pork chop rice and the HK toast (the milk puff). The baked rice hit the perfect comfort food spot, and the toast was delicious. However, I also tried the pineapple bun with salted egg yolk and pork floss, and it was unfortunately pretty dry. I'd probably skip that one next time. Overall, it's a really solid spot with great flavors! That said, while the food is good, I personally wouldn't wait longer than an hour to eat here. If you can catch them on a day when the line isn't too crazy, it's definitely worth a visit!

One of the new restaurants in McCarthy Ranch area. There are no physical menus, use the QR code. The menu is Asian Fusion. Decent options and price is on point. The food didn't take long to come out. I got the sizzling satay beef which was flavorful and the hot pan kept some of the noodles crispy. Interior is small but nicely decorated with various shade of green. Staff was attentive as well.

Always a line, to cut corners, I tried DoorDash. But even when the order was placed in at 11:30, we waited till 1pm to get our food. So be warned! The food came nicely packaged! The drink sealed in tape and placed in a nice paper bag, the food was in a plastic bowl and the whole order was placed inside a plastic bag. We placed a group order but each of our order was clearly labeled with our name and items typed on tickets. We don't have to find our items from a massive amount of food like other vendors, which I'm happy with the convenience. I ordered a French Lemon Latte, it's ok. When I got the order, the brown coffee was floating at the top and the bottom was cream white. But once I poked the straw in, the white cream floats up and the drink looks murky. There's one piece of lemon at the bottom of the cup, so not very strong lemon flavor. Onto the food, the Ultimate Cheesy Tamago Bowl with Eel & Beef that I ordered was very good. Each element is neatly layered on top of each other, the take out did not mess it up. At the bottom is the white rice, then on top of the rice there are the sliced beef with sliced onions soaking in the teriyaki sauce. The second to top layer is a brick of Japanese style tomago egg and a thin layer of cheese. Lastly, there's a piece of teriyaki eel on the very top sealing off the bowl. The portion was sumptuous, and the teriyaki sauce carries the dish through. On the menu there are many other interesting items that I want to try, perhaps next time I can try their pineapple bun sandwich or the baked rice.

    Baked pork chop over rice

The sauce with pork chop over rice use vital. Second is the pork chop. The sauce is just average. Not particular tasty like the really good one. The pork chop was nice though. Tender and moist. So it's just average overall. Singapore stir fry vermicelli -

Revisit this HK style restaurant for early lunch today. Even before they open, already saw long line waiting outside! I ordered the fried instant noodle with beef over iron plate. Portion is Asian small size, and taste is just ok. My brother ordered the curry pork. The pork is way too dry and even hard to chew. However, still a good spot for quick lunch so it stay in my list. But definitely not worth to wait 30 mins if you see a long line.

When we arrived during Friday lunch, we had to sign up for the waitlist. The wait was 20 minutes to get a table, but luckily there were many nearby shops to browse. After we ordered, the food came out fast. The restaurant was cozy and Instagram-worthy. The server was belittling me for asking questions about the menu and later for clarifying which item the noodles paired with. The food was decent. The meatplate is my favorite because there's a lot of protein. The sausage is juicy. The spaghetti was okay because the sauce felt overwhelming. There's a lot of hype around this restaurant on social media, but the food wasn't memorable. It tasted good while I was eating but I probably wouldn't go again.

Monday lunch we were seated immediately, we ordered crispy shrimp rings, unagi rice, singapore noodles and stir fried loofah. The food were out fast. The service was efficient. They were delicious.

Food: flavor wise is not super traditional overall. They have some interesting flavors for the pineapple buns and French toast. I am not a big fan since I'm hoping for HK flavors, so I'd rate it a 3/5. Portion can totally be bigger and more generous. Service: order with QR code. It's a fast paced place. I feel like if they are trying to charge more than typical HK cafe, they should provide more... Ambiance: med size restaurant with modern decor. The line was really long. Recommend to come early to avoid long waiting time.

The Hong Kong-style milk puff and Hong Kong-style milk tea are amazing. The environment is clean and the service is friendly.

I loveeeee getting the tom yum here, & I don't think other malatang places offer tom yum. In general, the tom yum flavor is fire. i would say the amount of chili oil they add is inconsistent. there's times i've gotten alot of oil and times with less. my partner also found the beef bone broth was too oily for his liking and thought tom yum was way better. The tom yum has a nice tang from the lemon and theres slight creaminess to the broth. my friend thinks they add peanut sauce to the broth. it is also not too spicy, which is nice. I dont live near this place but it is worth the drive! I like the wide variety of ingredients and the chewy potato noodles. We have visited this location twice now. Ordered different items both times, but the consistency feels a bit off in terms of the spiciness. The broth are fairly good, but your options are pretty much just non-spicy, little spicy, and burn your mouth off. The space inside the restaurant can be quite crowded. As in elbow to elbow seating.
