I'll shop at Home Depot from now on. Prices on line they won't honor and nearly impossible to get someone to help.

Let me preface this review by saying I did order a washer/dryer from this Lowes store during the COVID-19 pandemic. I understand retailers should get a little leeway during this time but, there was NO excuse for the customer experience I had. This order's sole issue was a serious lack of communication from the store. I ordered a new washer/dryer with all the accessories from Lowes on 3/26. It was done all online and the only issue was the soonest delivery wasn't until 4/10/20. Again, it's a pandemic so I was understanding of the delay. Cut to two weeks later, it's delivery day and I get an automated email from Lowes the day before saying that the delivery will be between 8am and 8pm. "Seriously? A 12-hour delivery window?" Ugh, fine. I take the day off work and I wait for the delivery guy to show up. 4 o'clock that day I get a call from Lowes. "Just wanted to tell you we have your order, are you available tomorrow for delivery?" I'm now a bit shocked. "Wait, they were supposed to deliver today, I've been waiting all day!" She replies "Well, yes, but we just got your washer/dryer in the store today. But don't worry, your delivery will be on the truck and you'll be our first delivery tomorrow." They really couldn't have called the day before to say that, so I didn't take a whole day off work to wait for them!? Again, fine, I'll wait tomorrow too. At this point I'm starting to get a bit annoyed how they handled it. The next day I wake up early to make sure if the delivery guy hits my house first, as Lowes said they would, I'll be ready. All morning goes by, no delivery truck, then part of the afternoon, nothing! I'm getting mad, I call the Lowes store to find out where my delivery is, "Well it's on the truck, I don't know what to tell ya. If it doesn't show up today you can talk to the delivery manager on Monday." At this point I want to cancel, "Sorry it's on the truck there's nothing I can do." "Fine, let me speak to a manager" I was trying to seek a credit for all the lost time I had, waiting for a delivery driver that has yet to show. "Sorry there's no one like that here, you'll have to call back Monday." Uh huh, not ONE manager in the store? So, I hang up and waited even more for the truck. 5 o'clock they pull into the driveway! Finally! The delivery drivers get out open the back of the truck, "Where do you want it?" "Upstairs in the laundry room would be great, thanks!" Then the icing on the cake, he replies. "Oh, we can't go into people's houses anymore, new policy." I'm fuming! No one told me this, I received no communication or notice telling me that they wouldn't bring it upstairs to my laundry room the best they said they could do was put them in the garage! I had to carry both washer and dryer up the stairs myself and install them. In summary, The Lowes store's lack of communication easily earns it less than one star. I can't stress enough I understand there is a pandemic, but a simple phone call or email communication would have gone a long way in their case. In fact, I would have written a much better review if they had called me on the 9th and said, "Sorry the delivery is delayed till the 11th and we can't enter your house." But instead the delivery took two weeks to order, was a day and half late to deliver, and they couldn't deliver it to the proper room. All without proper notice and communication. I honestly wished I could have cancelled the order when I tried. read more

They usually have what I am looking for and for the right price! The people there are usually nice and helpful... BUT I went in to get Christmas lights stuff and they were charging me higher prices then listed... in which the cashier got annoyed with us and scowled at my father! But it's not our fault that the prices were listed wrong! read more

Horrible customer service! Each time I visited Lowe's at this location it is difficult to find a helpful associate. The cashier was very rude and lacked basic customer service. Do not recommend. read more

Avoid this place like the plague. Ordered a washer and dryer on 8/28 for delivery on 9/14. Everything seems fine until 9/13 when I am notified that in fact the units that I ordered were sold to someone else, and the products are no longer available. By this time, all stores were out of stock of not only the items we ordered, but pretty much every matching washer and dryer pair out there. This store cost us hundreds of dollars, countless hours, and left us without a washer and dryer for weeks. Highly recommend trying a Home Depot, Costo, Best Buy, or pretty much anything but this terrible place. read more

I enjoy browsing the garden shop especially during springtime. The variety of plants, trees and shrubs helps with my annual gardening needs and I always look forward to Mike's friendly, knowledgeable advice regarding fertilizers, herbicides, plants and even rabbits. read more

They have the worst phone system. When i called to check the order status, it has these annoying beep sounds coming up every 3 seconds. In the end it either keeps ringing or disconnects abruptly. My online order status shows "In Process" for two weeks now and they are not reachable over the phone too. Terrible! read more

Home Depot is ~2 miles farther from my house than lowes, but I only go the this lowes if I absolutely have to. There is almost never enough associates on a cash register, the quality of lumber is worse than HD and they rarely have any of the materials I need. Additionally, when a part-time high school employee, who is assisting another customer, has to direct customer service because the manager is too lazy to ring me up, there's an issue. That high schooler deserves a raise and she saved this store from a 1-star review. Get it together. read more

I love the appliance department. They give a 30 day guarantee. HD doesn't do that. Lowes will match prices; HD will not do that. I also love the garden department. This store has so many choices! read more

Poor customer service-talked to 4 different associates and no one could tell us if they carried a specific brand, and instead of taking the time to look each individual just told us to try a different section (ie, hardware, pluming, garden center). No associate would make eye contact or even greet us with a hello- not even when we checked out. Seems like there was no knowledge of products and functionality. Also, limited supply of various items we were looking for-looks like Home Depot has our business from now on. Very disappointed. read more

I had to gut and remodel an old condo in Denver and had no idea what I was doing. The staff here is exceptional. I suggest going during the week and you will get all the help you need, just busier on weekends. From tile to carpet, counters, paint, bath tubs, fixtures, lighting, etc. Everyone took their time and helped me step by step, making sure I got everything I needed and that it all worked together and they did not try to upsell me and told me what they felt was the best value/quality and saved me money. They even helped me select the correct lightbulbs for each fixture. The managers called me several times to make sure I was happy with the installers and try to help me through a few bumps. I had to cancel a custom made cabinet for $400.00 and they went ahead and refunded me even though it had already been made and was at the store. Several of the people who helped me were former contractors and it showed. It's the only place I will go now. read more

Previously, we've had some very negative experiences at this store, but we were in the area, so we tried them for supplies for several home projects. Wow, it was great! We had no less than 5 employees offer us help and give us ideas to solve our home repair challenges. One staff member in particular, Ted, was especially helpful. We found what we needed and found all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. read more

I went the day before father's day to buy a grill for a father's day present. They had them all 20% off for the weekend. The person working in grills told me that the one I wanted was sold out but they would have them in Monday. He took my name and walked me to the register to pay. I asked if I should have a pick up reciept, he said no and wrote my name/number on scrap paper. On Thursday I hadn't heard anything so I called. They asked for my phone number to look in the system and couldn't find my order. I asked for a manager. After explaining, they had to refund my order and resbmit it as a pick up. She told me she didn't know why the guy would tell me that it would be in, they never know when stock will arrive, but when it comes in they will call. I waited another week and called back, same story, no idea. I finaly called again on July 8th, another week making it three total since my order and was told they had been in stock and it was ready for pick up??? I said I had been waiting since Fathers day and the lady said "there is no note to call you." Uncaring and unreliable are the best way to describe the employees at this location. I assume they make commission based on the flat out lie about when it would be in. read more

Very friendly staff. One in particular, David ex military staff member was super helpful. He helped us out to our car and was very friendly. Hopefully management knows what a fantastic employee they have. Every interaction we've had at Loews has been good. This one just happened to be very memorable! Did the holiday season! Terrible experience at Lowe's in Colorado. Ordered a washer and dryer in November with delivery being December 16th. Agreed for the wait since it was holiday time and the washer and dryer were on Black Friday special the month of November. Received a call a few days ago stating that they had ordered the wrong washer and dryer and said that Samsung changed the model number and never notified them. Weird, okay. Said delivery was going to take longer and wouldn't be until December 29th. I have an 88 year old grandmother at home with incontinence. Waiting 2 more weeks after the delivery was out of the question. I asked for a refund because we needed them sooner. I then received a call from a manager apologizing and suggested I go to Aaron's and rent a washer and dryer in the mean time. Why would I waste even more money to rent one? I headed to Best Buy to purchase the same washer and dryer which will be delivered even before Lowe's original delivery date. Unfortunately because all Black Friday specials are now over I had to pay over $600 for the same set. If I had known this would have been an issue before I would have avoided Lowe's or purchased elsewhere sooner. So thank you Lowe's for the stress and additional money I had to spend to receive the same product sooner. read more

Will never do business at this store again!! Bought a tool box from them and it was like the biggest hassle ever for the employee that was helping me. He was off in 30 minutes and made it known and had an attitude the whole time, got the box down for me then proceeded to not help me load it and expected me to be able to do it by myself with my brother that had a broken foot? What a joke!!! Ended up seeing him checking out and leaving 10 minutes prior to his shift end while I struggled to get the box in my car. Avoid this store at all costs!! read more

Bought a new washer and dryer during their labor day sale. They promised delivery 12 days later. A long time, but it worked out okay with our plans to move in to our new home. Well, at 8:00 the night before our delivery was to have happened, they called to say there had been a mistake and that they couldn't deliver as promised. Further, they couldn't tell us when our delivery could happen. Apparently, the warehouse was either not informed of our purchase or they just didn't care. Either way, our washer and dryer were never pulled out for delivery and as of today are still sitting at the warehouse. AND, they wouldn't put it on an earlier truck so they are saying they couldn't deliver before Sunday, October 2nd. That is 19 days after purchase. The most I could get from them... "Sorry." I've cancelled the order and will NOT be shopping there again. read more

The worst customer service EVER! I purchased my wash machine from Lowes with the extended warranty. I have called for numerous repairs under the extended warranty - 2 of the repairs they have had to send the repairman out twice on 2 different repairs because they didn't fix it the first time. Then there was a recall. I handled that through Samsung. My machine was making a very loud noise and shaking the house. I called before my extended warranty expired and requested service. My extended warranty was due to expire on December 28, 2017. I was told the part was on back order and should receive it by January 15. Well, here we are on January 18 and I am being told by Lowes - sorry your warranty expired December 28, 2017. However, my repair has not be completed and the part is still on "back order". I have talked to managers - Hammond and Eric and both pretend they can help me and will call me back. They are both liars. They refer me back to the extended warranty dept that will do nothing for me. They did offer to check on the part order - which I just did yesterday - Nish from CS came back on the line and said it was still on back order. I started going to Lowes because the lack of the CS at Home Depot was horrible. At least Home Depot didn't lie to me. Lowes has been dishonest with me over and over again. I will never step foot in Lowes again and make sure anyone who can hear me understands their lack of customer service and honesty. read more

I typically don't shop at Lowe's, but after I was unsuccessful at finding what I was looking for at Home Depot, I went to Lowe's. On two separate occasions I received genuine help and suggestions from the associates. Not only did they show me where to find what I was looking for, but they presented valuable information to help me with my project. At Lowe's you will find, not only what you are looking for ,but a higher percentage of the associates actually know what they are talking about!!!!! read more

Kendall was so helpful. He walked around with me throughout the store and helped me at each turn. I was always a Home Depot person until I started to shop around. Lowes prices are reasonable and have a warranty for some of their projects. Hannah in scheduling is also great. I needed a project completed within a week and she was on it. She called the vendor right away and took personal interest in my project. Kyle is great was well. He is very knowledgeable and honest. Good people = Good store. read more

We found a single bathroom vanity on Lowes.com. It show that it was out of stock. We went into the store on 7/6/2016 and asked if it could be ordered. The assured us that it could be ordered and will take 7-10 days for delivery to the store. Once we ordered it we proceeded purchase paint, tile based on the design and COLOR of the vanity. We then gutted our bathroom all with the thought that the remodel will be finished by the time the vanity was available for pickup. I went to the store today (the scheduled pickup date) and was informed that it would be another 5 weeks before it would be in the store. When I asked the assistance store manager why, he said that the distribution center will not receive it until August 19 and it would be another 7 days after that when the store gets it. When I asked why I was not told this at the time I ordered it he just shrugged and said he did not know. He then offered to try and find a substitute. I explained that the COLOR was the primary reason I ordered the vanity. I based my next purchases on the COLOR and the thought that we would receive the vanity in 10 days. Lowe's touts ethics in their business practices. Honesty and competency would be a nice addition to their business practices. Without either one of those you cannot not claim to be an ethical company. Now I am stuck. I either change my floor and paint or go without the use of my bathroom for 5 weeks. Lowes doesn't care, they aren't out any money or time. They don't care whether or not I refund the measly $331. It's just a drop in the bucket to them. I only wish I can return the $900 hot water heater I just paid them to install. Moving forward, I think Home Depot or Ace will be my home improvement centers. read more

This Lowe's is smaller and has less selections than other Lowe's, but it's the closet hardware store to us. I've had some good to great help from the employees here, but there's been a fair number who while trying to be helpful, weren't able to solve the problem and left it at that since it was related to fairly inexpensive items. But in fairness some of this is my inarticulateness as I try to learn to do more DIY. read more

I just moved into the area and checked out this Lowes, since it is so close to my new home. I wanted a storm door and ceiling fan lights. Lorenzo in the mill department helped me with my new storm door. He was professional and patient in explaining my choices. I had the measurements done and door installed in less than 2 weeks. I love the storm door with the easy operation of the screen that rolls down, so I don't have to change out the glass/screen like my last one. Great service! When looking for specific lights in the lighting department, I received the same great customer service! Thanks Lowe's and Lorenzo for making my choices easy! read more
