I walked around looking for help and could find noone. When I did find two people they walked away before I could get to them so I went to the front. I asked a lady there I needed help to buy something and she called it out over the loudspeaker. So I go back to the area where the tool was and waited and waited and waited and waited and 20 minutes later noone. So I was going to leave. On my way out I saw the same lady I spoke to earlier. Ordered kitchen cabinets, waited twice as long as promised, they show up and two of them are badly damaged, one of them is the wrong one. Spent a day calling; would ring 20 minutes, no answer. Made ten attempts. Nada. Finally got them reordered, pushing back kitchen renovation another two weeks. Re-order arrives in-store. I go to pick it up, in person this time. They page the department manager. Waited 40 minutes. Not only did the department manager never come, the guy who was paging him ghosted on me. Now I've been there an hour, still lingering in the cabinets department, nobody talking to me. Go to the front of the store and someone tracks them down. Also some broken. Again, some the wrong size. Called the store. Phone would ring 20 minutes, no answer. Finally got them re-ordered AGAIN. Contractor cancels trip to Europe with best friend, knowing that the kitchen wouldn't be finished in time. Now we're in month two of the two-week remodel. At this point I've spend over $2000 on take-out, having no functional kitchen. The final cabinet finally arrives. The box looks like it's been through a wood-chipper. Third time is NOT the charm. Department manager paged. "Oh, he's on break". Waited. Never came back. Two months later, ordering what we need from Home Depot. Will likely be waiting another three weeks, making this THREE MONTHS for ten cabinets, spending maybe 20 hours dealing w/ Lowe's trying to get it right. Could be literally the least-organized, worst-managed, and most infuriating customer experience of my life. I checked email later, my order was cancelled in Burbank and moved to pick up in PACOIMA. What the what? Then Pacoima was cancelled. Seriously? I waited until today to call. I had a really disappointing experience at Lowe's due to poor customer service. The associate I spoke with seemed completely uninterested in helping and told me to come back in three hours when her manager would be in. But I knew my issue could've easily been resolved on the spot. This was also my third time coming in--and I live about 45 minutes away--so being told to come back again was incredibly frustrating. I asked her to at least start by looking up my order, but she was more focused on her phone and sipping her drink. Only when another employee walked by did she finally decide to ask for help, while I stood there waiting for a group of managers to finish their meeting. I honestly can't believe how bad this experience was. At 8 a.m., with hardly any customers around, the lack of urgency or care was unbelievable. Replacing people like this with AI feels inevitable at this point. If I had to rate her service out of 10, I'd give her a 3--and that's me being generous. This store has literally become a joke! Came into garden center to buy a bunch of things for gardening and couldn't get one employee to help locate a flatbed cart. The one cashier, Piedad, whom we asked simply directed us to find one in parking lot or front of store on complete other side of the building. Like, what?! Ugh. What happened to customer service? Not even an attempt to call f for help! Meanwhile the only other two employees are filming a video for the store rather than assisting the line forming. I stopped by this Lowes to look at a bathroom mirror with my dad since he came here previously and saw the one he like. So when we came back, we found parking easily in the plaza this store is in. When we walked inside, I saw they already have Halloween decorations out. The store was pretty emptied for a Wednesday night. When we got to the bathroom aisle where they have the vanity and mirrors, I saw the one that my dad like but it's only available online. So I took the item number and put it into their Lowes app but it couldn't find it. I then did a Google search with the brand, dimension of the item and added Lowe's so it would direct me to the right link. Once I saw it, I click on the link and it took me to the Lowes website where it said the item is no longer being sold at Lowes which was weird. I walked around the store to look for a worker to ask but couldn't find anymore. The store was almost basically emptied and quiet. I asked for the manager--was put on hold for 30 minutes, then disconnected. I had to buy supplies at Home Depot to stay on schedule for a construction job. Even today, when I tried again to cancel, Customer Service pushed back. Only after escalating to a supervisor did I get a promise of a refund--no confirmation email, and my Lowe's account still shows the delivery as "delayed." Unacceptable. Went in to this Lowe's yesterday to purchase supplies for home renovation and was assisted by Fernando (and ultimately Ernie as well). Fernando was a major help in the buying process, gave great insight and made sure we not only got the best deal but were satisfied with the purchase. I am so happy every time I visit the Lowes store here in Burbank. We grabbed a variety of potting mix, plants and seedlings. Please remember to check the back of the gardening section for the clearance items. I was so surprised to find lots of gems that needed a little tlc and mostly water to revive. Also, the gardening staff are very helpful as I've asked a lot of questions and they always find someone that can assist with answering. One more thing, they get a lot of new plants every single week. We are spoiled for choice at this store and I definitely will be back again next week for more adventures in the garden section. On 12/17 I went to Lowe's to buy further materials to block the draft from a very old set of French doors that lead to the backyard. There was not a surplus of staff to ask questions...in fact I don't think I saw anyone in the aisles during my visit. By using the app and some common sense, i figured out what to get. The associates at the Self-Checkout were very helpful-not only assisting me with which register to use to get cash back, but also reprinted my receipt as I could not get the machine to do it. They have this new scam at Lowe's where a person posing as a Lowe's salesperson offers to help you find an item or answer a question, but they really work for their solar company Sun Run. Then they bother you to sign up, even following you around the store until you give them your information. My wife was so bothered by the Sun Run/Lowe's Employee she gave him our info so he'd leave her alone and now they call us multiple times a day despite telling them we have no interest in their product. Learn from us and make up a phone number if they bother you or just don't go to Lowe's anymore. read more

NEVER SHOP AT LOWES. This was the single worst and most frustrating customer experience I have ever had and the other reviews confirm it. If you are reading this, it is probably too late because you are only reading it after you got screwed and are wondering if you are alone. You are not. Ordered a dishwasher over a month ago. It was supposed to be installed within the week. We never heard from the store. After 3 calls, someone finally realized that the store had been sold our dishwasher to another customer and they never bothered to let us know or to replace it. They ordered another dishwasher which was supposed to be picked up by the installer yesterday. We moved meetings around to be home when the dishwasher arrived. Installer arrived at Lowes and was told the dishwasher was gone. Installer went home. I called to cancel the order. Lowes told me they had a dishwasher there for me. We made arrangements to have it picked up today and installed this evening. We received a call that, for the third time, a sales person had sold our dishwasher (which was tagged and set aside for us) to a walk in customer and that we would need to order another dishwasher. I have spent 4 hours in the past two days on the phone with customer service, who were very kind and empathetic, but in the end had zero power to do anything. The last straw was when the customer service rep from the installations department stayed on with me as we 3 way called the store (WHO NEVER EVER PICK UP - See any other review). We spoke with a representative in the appliances department who told us his manager was on lunch but got us to speak to another manager. The manager put us on hold and then walked away from the phone for 25 minutes only to get disconnected. I cannot express how angry I am and how frustrating it is to have absolutely nothing I can do. Man!!! I should have looked at the almost 900+ Negative bad Yelp reviews of this atrocious store. That barely gets a 2.2!!!! out of 5 Stars! How is that even possible? I ordered a FULL Kitchen set Refrigerator, Oven Range, Microwave & Dishwasher over Black Friday which is usually best time of year to get discounted kitchen appliances. I rarely if ever shop from Lowe's for small things usually always head to Home Depot, but decided to go through with them for a condo remodel of a kitchen, man! did I mess up in deciding to order from them They were about $500 cheaper than Home Depot so decided to save a bit of money. Which was a mistake in hindsight. The service from Lowe's Customer Service, Delivery Team, Install Team & in store team are all abysmal & completely incompetent, by far worst I have ever had to deal with & I'm a developer & builder with 15+ years of experience No one from Lowes ever contacted us for the delivery scheduling, until I had to call them myself which they use a 3rd party delivery crew. After two 1-week delays from them they finally decided to deliver. They were supposed to call when they were within 30 min away because they give a 4 hour delivery window! Never did! Luckily I was at the property When they came, noticed that half our order is missing! What in the world?! Where's the rest of our order?, I ask the guy, he says he has no clue so I had to call Lowes to find the rest of our order. After 4 hours on hold they find it DURING THIS TIME THE GUYS LEFT WITHOUT INSTALLING THE REFRIGERATOR & OVEN NEVER REFUNDING ME THE $$$ FOR THE SERVICE LOWES say that they have 2 separate delivery teams for their appliance deliveries & installs! Are you kidding me? How inconvenient & terrible business practice is that to not only make the delivery take longer but to not inform your customer of this policy. I had to reach out to them myself to schedule the delivery of the microwave & Dishwasher with a completely different install & delivery team. They were terrible & impossible to get ahold of, they have 10 different numbers They were suppose to deliver on 12/23, waited for them to arrive in front the entire time, just in case they pull a fast one They were not answering my calls until after the delivery window had expired Surprise Surprise they pulled a fast one. Delivery team supposedly showed up & knocked on the door for 15 min, which is their time limit & no one answered, took the appliances back, what the hell!!!!! Im furious at this point Called the delivery service numerous times till I connected to someone & lady on other end "Natalie" I think, just kept on deflecting & saying "Im sorry I'm not sure why" which is there go to answer. Get even more frustrated Rescheduled 3rd time for following week Never got a phone call after for confirmation of following week delivery. On delivery day, I call & they cant get ahold of delivery drivers numerous times & say will call me back in few minutes, never got call back, delivery drivers once again never showed up! Call again!!! lady says I have no order to be delivered in the 1st place, what the hell are you saying????????? Why would you schedule a delivery if I dont have an order? When she finally did, some guy named Michael went into back to find the appliance's, this was after the 2nd hour on hold. I decided to drive 2 hours to the store myself & introduce myself At the customer service desk for 10 min, no one around, then finally few people show up & I still have install support on speaker on my phone going on 4 hours Coincidence?!?!?!?!?!?! As soon as I tell the customer service guy my order # in the store, a lady comes on the line on my phone & hangs up quickly! after over 5 hours on the phone Michael from the back comes to the front & starts laughing & shrugs it off as if its not his problem. I ask for store manager, wait for a hour IN STORE & instead ASST Manager Ernie shows 1 hr later, he promises to find it by 9pm. He does & tells me Lowes will call me to reschedule next morning. I would not recommend buying an appliance from Lowe's. Our dishwasher appliance purchase was littered with inaccuracies from customer service representatives. We purchased on Black Friday after seeing the dishwasher we wanted go on sale at Home Depot as well as Lowe's. We were told it was in stock and would be delivered the following week but we needed to just wait until Monday for a call from the delivery company. The following Monday no call, Tuesday no call. I followed up on Wednesday and was told that the dishwasher was actually not in stock at our Lowe's and we had to wait for them to receive it from their warehouse "they will probably call you by Friday". Waited until Saturday and called again to see when we would be able to schedule the delivery. Was told they've had the dishwasher and the delivery company would probably another few days. Called back the following week and had told them it still wasn't scheduled. Complaint escalated to Supervisor who would "call me back". Miracle upon miracles delivery company then magically called me to set up a delivery appointment a couple weeks away. Night before delivery day came and received text that they would be at my home between 8-12pm. Rescheduled a couple meetings and appointments I had so I could be home. Day of delivery came, 1pm called and asked for an update, they said they would call the driver and me back. 2:30pm called back for update and was told it was a computer issue and the delivery would be later sometime. Then another customer rep calls and says that the truck broke down and they would be at my home by 5pm. Canceled all plans for the day, stuck sitting at home because we didn't know when they'd arrive. Finally arrived after 5pm, installed and left. No apology for being so late. Customer service is hard to come by at this lowe's. It's easy to tell who can't help you. When you make eye contact with them, they start walking in the other direction. I once waited close to an hour if it wasn't forty-five minutes just to get them to unlock a drill address so I could purchase it. I literally had to start yanking on the security wire to activate the alarm to get somebody's actual attention. I can't stand the self check out with the camera in your face, but that's at a lot of stores. So if they collect your facial identification information and you put your credit card, they sell your personal data companies. Anyway, You should try to avoid this low as if possible.
