sadly no one ever reads reviews about hardware stores, as hardware stores go this store has everything you could possibly need with the exception of one thing... good customer service. In a few years they've been here, I've entered the store a handful of times... and have yet to receive help that was needed. my most recent experience actually got me so irritated that it brought me here. Pros: -ordered product online and it was ready within 10 minutes -small, organized store Con: -Cashier seemed more interested in signing me up for a membership than helping me with my purchase. Item was 20% off, online only. I understand having to order online for an online only price but there was zero effort in giving me the discount at the register. The cashier went as far as to tell me I'll need to sign up for a membership to order online. I didn't. In a 1 minute span, she asked me about membership 3-4 times. Didn't have much more experience with the store but I'll be avoiding this place purely due to the incessant membership push. read more

It has Large accessible parking. Store is NEW. It's well lit & easily laid out. It's not a large store nor does it have a large variety, but it usually has what one needs. The staff is pleasant, knowledgeable & helpful. read more

They employed completely useless and inexperienced staff. Staff don't have an idea, and they are not technical at all. I came here to look for a hardware to install my blinds with. He took me to the section where they hang pictures. Hidden then recommended that I use hooks, 'literally hooks' to install the blinds with. They have no idea and they have no clue on how to help the customers. They need to employ skilled staff. You cannot employ 18-year-old kids who have no idea what they're doing and who is unable to answer the customer with complete attitude. Big thank you to Eddie! He was the only staff member that was willing to help me during my visit. I needed extra copies of some keys and thought I'd give this place a try. I found the keys were by the paint section. There was a counter there but no staff member. I grabbed the keys I liked and went to the cashier to let them know I need keys made. I was told to wait by the paint counter and waited a while. There was an older staff member with glasses that saw me waiting and nothing. Everyone around me was being helped and it felt frustrating. Another staff member had to remind this older staff member that I was waiting. Finally, the same older staff member informed Eddie to help me while Eddie was busy gathering shopping carts outside. Was Eddie the only one that could make keys? Moving on, I purchased 4 keys and it cost me around $20. Eddie offered a discount since one of the keys I picked out wasn't available. I tested all the copies and they were perfect! Thank you again Eddie! I would have given this place 1 star if it wasn't for you! read more

When I walked in, the cashier greeted me and asked if I needed help. I asked her if they make keys and she said yes at the paint studio. She showed me where it was and radio a worker that I was on my way. The guy took my key, put it the machine to cut then he polished the key. It's looks pretty good and it only cost $3.30. The quality is much better and way cheaper than those self help machines. I liked the little kiosk with the lanyards and selection of different key holders. Overall, I'm satisfied with my visit except for the garden smell every where and no air conditioning. read more

Understaffed and just not knowledgeable about the products in the store. It's always my last resort hardware store and I always regret it.

It is so good to have ACE hardware store in our community. I can find almost anything I need. Of course this is not like Home Depot where you will find everything, but ACE is more relaxed atmosphere with good customer service! read more

I asked an employee what kind of mulch or soil I could use for basic flowers and he recommended me to a "420 based" soil which helps with marijuana plants, I felt disrespected as I am a gardener & it felt like he did mention it based on my looks. The employee had long curly brown hair. read more

Cashier Abagail was very friendly and helpful. When I asked about if an item was on summer clearance she went out of her way to look it up and even asked her manager if it would be in further discount in the near futures. She was warm, friendly and proactive. All the things I love in any interaction at any store anywhere. On top of this, there was a sudden and quite strong earthquake while I was at the cash.
