I ordered on Thursday (5/30/24) a 30" refrigerator for my Tenant, hoping to get it before the 1st. of the month Saturday. They got a wrong address which was a block away, I recognized the track and I claimed my refrigerator showing the driver order from my phone and also I had Lowe's customer service on the line (not offshore). She asked to speak with the driver, the driver refused telling that he already contact his office and told him to leave, so he took off. After 5 hours the 3rd party company called me telling me that the refrigerator with be the next day in the morning. The refrigerator never came. I was on the phone with Lowe's customer services (offshore), was told it would come tomorrow (Monday). Result, I spent hours on the phone with Lowe's and no one really took any responsibility, except of talking nice to me, and giving me illusions that they will contact or show up, nothing was done. read more

My mom and I came here to get a gallon and instead of a simple hi he whistled and waved his hand until we came over like dogs. Lowe's has the absolute worse customer service. Don't buy anything from Lowe's! They have an awful return policy -- you cannot cancel orders placed online after they are placed because they didn't bother to add a cancel button!! There is no way to cancel an online order before it is shipped. This company wants to do everything possible to dissuade customers from returning items. Of the many hardware stores I've ever visited, this is the best and most organized facility I've been to. My search was for hardwood floors, as carpeting is no longer my cup of tea, and I'm changing the room into a baby room for my grandson to visit or babysitting. The selection of all types of floor covering is much better than other warehouses, and the quality compares with the available types of flooring found along State College Blvd. in Anaheim. The cost is just a tad more at Lowe's, but installation is available for the local area. I'm by no means an expert in hardwood floors, so I would need an installer who knows how to install the flooring competently and timely. Now that I'm fully retired, it's time to make the home improvements I've put off for the past several years to make life more enjoyable for the whole family. read more

Tried to order a wall oven and my mother chose to have them come in measure it when we already have measured it. They didn't need to come anyway they took going on three days before they even call us to set up a time to come and measure three days no phone call yet ......we haven't even ordered an oven yet because they won't order it for my mother until the place is measured, they have the measurements and a picture but yet they make her pay and they never show up. Don't think I've ever been to a more racist store. This is the only store I get asked to show my ID when I'm using my debit card, even at the self service check out. I didn't even ask the lady to help ring me up at the SELF SERVICE. White employee just grabbed the handheld and started scanning my stuff and then asked for my ID before I could use my debit. She let all the white people scan their own things and didn't ask a single one to show ID. Trusted them so much she was talking to other customers while they scanned their own things. 2 times in a row this has happened and I've never stolen a thing. Won't be going here anymore and if you're Asian, just go elsewhere. I've seen videos of Lowe's being racist towards Asians but didn't think they'd be so obvious about it. Terrible experience when I first went to store to buy a washer it turned out fine sales rep was very helpful but failed in their info about the haul away. I was already going to purchase that with everything else but was talked out of it by sales rep who said and I quote "They can disconnect and move the washer but won't take it away" which is fine my me. Then comes day of delivery everything is fine then the delivery guys say that they will not remove the old washer and that I have to purchase the haul away. Haulers then proceed to tell me they say whatever to get the sale but they aren't the ones doing the labor (which is true). So it's not their faults no blame to them, but I begin to call the store to find out answers only to be met with transfers and call drops for an hour at least! Finally when I get through I immediately request to speak to a supervisor and was told by said supervisor that they will re teach the sales rep that gave me false info and that they will move and install the new washer but will be done tomorrow. So here's the next day no call or text about when anyone shows up to install this washer I had just purchased not more than 2 days ago. I begin to call the store only to again be met with dropped calls and holds, finally talk to another supervisor (Cindy in appliances) telling me the same things I heard all day yesterday. At the end I was over Lowe's poor customer service that I will be going to the store in person and demand my refund and give my money to a company that cares about making the customer happy. I wish I could give you guys 0 stars! Tell me where my leaky valve is Cindy in appliances! If you have people who can't perform a task maybe Lowe's shouldn't offer it as an option and leave installations to real trades people who have the knowledge behind what they say! Their installers couldn't perform the task because they lack plumbing knowledge on how residual water works when they undo the lines. Instead they tell me (licensed plumber) that my valves are leaking with no proof but their word and that doesn't amount to much! Home Depot didn't have the white Whirlpool dishwasher that I wanted, but Lowes said they would have it when Whirlpool started shipping them on 7/11/2023. Cindy, in the appliance department, did a super job of pushing the paperwork. She warned me to keep calling to make sure it arrived, or it would be sold out from under me -- even though I PAID FOR IT ALREADY. Yep, that's exactly what happened! THREE TIMES. Three times they LIED to me. I told them they could go pound sand, then I went in for a FULL REFUND. I caught them in a HUGE LIE when they tried to blame it all on Whirlpool. I will never buy an appliance or anything else truly important from Lowes, because I'm never told the truth. After that, I went to Best Buy and got the exact same dishwasher, which was delivered promptly. This review is so overdue! The five (5) starts is because it is well deserved to the General Manager and to his staff of this location. Mr. Omar Cazares, the General Manager from the beginning he did everything to correct the purchase of the item bought online ($1,300.00 MRCOOL EZ Pro Single Zone 12000-BTU 18 SEER Ductless Mini Split Air Conditioner and Heater with 16-ft Installation Kit). It took some time (couple of weeks) to sort it up of how our order was sent to another customer in Texas. We ended with the Texas order with us (patio sliding doors windows). The bottom line is that Mr. Cazares kept us informed almost on a daily basis the progress of the order and provided reassurance of how to correct this unfortunate incident. My experience with other corporate stores cannot compare with the personal attention from Mr. Cazares to value me as a customer. He wanted to make it right in some form to requital for the inconvenience; which it was the minimum Lowe's could do. At the end of all this ordeal Mr. Cazares and his staff it got resolved the mixup. Yes, Lowe's amended it the mistake with a gift card for the created inconveniences. Where do I begin, they seriously don't understand what customer service means. You could walk in to the store naked and they will ignore you. I've worked in the retail industry for 20 plus years now and I totally understand if you're trying to complete a tasks but no matter what customers come first! Or teach your employees how to multitask. I've been to this specific location 5 times and not once have they been welcoming , helpful or nice. They totally suck big time. Now to be more specific my personal experience was horrible, I was looking for something that they didn't have in stock on the shelves. I asked for assistance to help bring down the item I wanted. Want to be frustrated, purchase an appliance from Lowe's. The in store experience was fantastic, but that is where it stopped. Our refrigerator was to be delivered last week, but the excuse was the truck was too big so they said next week. Next week came and gone and now the delivery department has no clue what is going on. I asked for a refund and had to call customer care. So far I am on hold 48 minutes and holding. I will just call the credit card company and have them deal with Lowe's. Filters arrived damaged (they were smushed and because I'm wanting to use these to build a corsi rosenthal box for student's classroom, they were unusable). Customer service would not refund. They wanted to give me 10% off to keep damaged/unusable merchandise. I asked for shipping label to return for a refund and was told I needed to return to a store. I'm not able to get to a store which is why I had them shipped to me. The requirement to return to a store is unacceptable (hello, it's 2023. All of Lowe's all your competitors allow returns by mail). So my only recourse was to dispute with my credit card company. I wish Lowe's would just send me a return label to ship them back. Came in for a specific screw that the website said was in stock but was having trouble finding it. There was an employee named Carlos in the aisle so I asked him if he could help me since I couldn't find it and he snapped that I needed to have the exact item number or "what do I expect him to do" and then just told me they didn't have it and walked away while gesturing towards a shelf it might be at. Usually a fine experience at Lowe's. The selection of items is good. Customer service was very poor with my online, curbside order however. I ordered some Christmas light roof clips which were available to order online for in-store pick up. Online the website said there were 10 available, I ordered 1 at 9:45am. I got my order received confirmation email with payment completed. Then 7 hours later at 4:40pm I get another email from Lowe's saying my order has been CANCELLED. I had planned to pick up the same day since it was such a small order and now it was cancelled. Strangely immediately after I received a "thank you for your order" email, as if I was supposed to be pleased with this order. Why are they thanking me when they cancelled it. Here's the real kicker though. I drove in the next day just out of curiosity, and guess what!! I see a shelf full of 10 boxes of the roof clips I needed. I grabbed a box and asked customer service desk about my online order. I asked why it was cancelled. They looked at my email order and said, that usually happens if they are out of stock on the item. I explained that there were in fact some on the shelf and I am holding one now. She then said, Oh they maybe they couldn't find it and cancelled the order. I was surprised to hear that. So you are telling me someone who works here couldn't find these clips, which were in the Christmas section next to other clips and hanging tools? Yet I found them easily and I don't work there. That makes a whole lotta sense. Ridiculous. I try to think they maybe restocked the shelf but it's a huge coincidence that there were exactly the same amount available online, 10 as there were the next morning. Do better Lowe's. If you are going to offer online pickup and you have inventory, all you have to do is take my money and fulfill the order. In the last few months, I have made 2 big appliance purchases. A new refrigerator and a new range stove. The refrigerator came without incident. The range stove has been nothing but a nightmare. It took almost a month to arrive and the delivery was rescheduled 5 times without so much as a call or explanation. Each time, delivery was confirmed and then nothing. I called the Burbank Store numerous times to inquire and all it does is ring or when someone finally answers, the call gets transferred to a line that does not take any messages. I even escalated my complaints to corporate to no avail. When the range stove finally arrived, the wrong gas connector was delivered and the stove was not connected/installed by the delivery guys. In addition, they also installed the oven handle incorrectly. The oven door also does not close shut. The delivery guys gave me "that's not my job/problem" look and left. Needless to say, my calls and emails have gone unanswered. Now I have a range stove sitting in the middle of the kitchen that cannot be used. I was finished with my shopping at Lowes in Burbank and was headed to my car. I purchased 4 bags of large landscaping rocks and knew I was going to need help loading them into my car trunk. I saw a Lowe's employee loading some chairs and patio merchandise outside near the parking lot and you could tell the items were heavy. I went ahead and called for him anyway, knowing there was probably a chance he wouldn't help me. But, he put down everything and came over to help me, without a problem. I want to thank him so much because it was a pretty hot day and I know that he was already working hard to get his project done. Lowe's is Terrible terrible terrible. Try to imagine my frustration and the hours of my time wasted. The days waiting for the "deliveries" and all the phone calls!. I bought a Maytag clothes dryer from Lowe's, it was a scheduled delivery #1 Saturday 11 AM, never showed, I was never called. I called Saturday afternoon. Spoke with manager, "Promised" me schedule delivery #2 Sunday 4-8 PM. Again, never showed never called. I called again that Sunday evening, "Promised again" a schedule delivery #3 Monday between 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM. Charlene, did call however at 3 PM. Notified me they won't be coming today. "Someone will call you later today with tomorrow's delivery time". AGAIN, they never did. Scheduled delivery #4 Tuesday, Start to leave from work. I get a call from the delivery driver. "Letting you know we'll be there in 10-20 minutes". I replied, I was never informed of a delivery time and I explained the situation. Once I arrived, the drivers had unboxed the unit. Shorty after they left I noticed the damage to the back of the dryer. I called the drivers cell phone and asked him to return to my house and pick up the unit. He said that I needed to call the office. The dryer appears to have been hit by a forklift or something and a screw was never installed in assigned area. (Bottom corner). See dent and scuff marks. The back plate corner is bent away from the unit. Leaving a gap. Also other scratches/dents on the back. See attached photos. read more

Customer service at lowes IS A TOTAL JOKE! Not at all like it used to be! And it's probably this way at all the lowes stores! The problem? Really bad return policy! I had bought 4 pieces of crown molding over 18 months ago. Decided not to install it, so I attempted to return it. NOTHING wrong with the items, were in sellable condition, looked brand new. I'd even be willing to take store credit. I even had the sales receipt for three of the items but not the fourth. But I had the card I used to pay for the fourth one as many places will look it up by using the card you used to pay for it. Go into the store, explained that I had a return of four items I purchased over 18 months ago. The lowes rep said it might not take it back but would try anyway. NOT gonna happen, the system wouldn't take it! No returns after 90 days! (Afterwards, we called another lowes, and they said no returns after 90 days as well!) So, I told the lowes rep that in a similar situation Home Depot would take it back. Her response was, "that's what happens when you wait more than 90 days to return it!" I made it clear that lowes has lost a customer. But I doubt that lowes cares if they lose customers. lowes is going in the wrong direction, which is fine with me! Home Depot, on the other hand, is going in the right direction. At least, from my perspective and experience, that's how I see it. My wife and I went to Lowe's for a new fridge. After 15 plus years of service ours finally died. The salesman was not really helpful past looking up the fridge that we wanted. We asked about financing our fridge and he sent us to customer service. When we got to customer service the first associate there was equally unable to help us. So I asked for a manager.
