I had an amazing shopping experience here. The Lowes closer to our house has terrible service, so I started shopping at this location, as the service here is excellent, as is the inventory OuiOui. I came in looking for an upright freezer. However, we have decided to go with a commercial upright freezer instead. When I was there I also upgraded the ceiling fan in our bedroom to this new MOD 3 propeller ceiling fan like moi Daddy's airplane. We LOVE it. We just bought a second one for another room. We also bought a new MOD light for Sir Hubbers bathroom & a new super dazzling jewelry looking ceiling hugger for the Kitchen. It's very bright & is super easy to wipe clean. We also ordered the white metal tiles for the kitchen ceiling from Lowe's. They are so fabulous we did one whole wall in the kitchen with them also. I will have to post a photo later it's so beautiful. This Lowe's has the best service & inventory I have found, but the Nursery/plants in the Garden Center are not good. All of them are full of Glyphosate. I do not purchase plants from Lowe's anymore as they spray everything with chemicals & they all end up dying. I only buy plants at the farmers market or a real nursery now that are organically grown & chemical free. Anyhoo, for Home repair, appliances, home goods & service, this location is excellent. Highest Recommendations. I do not recommend the Garden Center or any of their plants. Will Return. read more

Meh...whether it be able apron or an orange one, it's just another place for the hardware stores to lament. We went in looking for wood putty, silicone caulk and some strong bond glue (think simian strength stuff). Although the aisles are better marked it still has few folks in blue aprons walking about that seem to know where stuff can be found quick. Once we finally found our stuff, pretty much all the cashier stations were self check out with few "smockers" skulking about. Personally, I don't care for a whole lot of interaction but it is also nice to know how and where to go from A to B without needing a road atlas. As in the orange competition up the road, this place caters to contractors who don't need help finding a thing. That's their bread and butter. Occasionally it's nice to know whether care about their small taters customers too. read more

I wanted to purchase more and even exchange the one I returned but got into a disagreement with with Michael who was absolutely NO Help at all. The price they were going to charge me was $12.98 then i asked him maybe they have them somewhere else in the store and they might be a promotion, he stuck his phone in my face very nasty and said you can READ, I politely said NO, I don't have my glasses on and walked to the customer service counter and spoke to Cortney who had just done my return but then after looking at everything she couldn't even help. She would NOT price match nor did I leave the store a happy customer, not even a even exchange was offered. WOW, talk about poor Service! Got in the Car and got hit by another customer who ran into my car and drove off, luckily my car was not damaged and so I didn't call the police. Upset and frustrated I drove to Store#0771, a store i had Never been too and explained my entire situation and NIK looked it up, looked at my reciepts, took the sku's, etc and then said he could do anything but BOTH STORES, had NO CLUE OR IDEA AS TO WHY Store#0740 had the same product and item for $4.00, again he would NOT price match. So In order to get the item I wanted I had to drive 25 miles out of my way and then back for these lights and Store#0740 St. Pete had loads of them in the isle's and near end caps, etc. Not a issue there with the pricing and so I bought 10 more. These lights are really good but the Service I received at the other two stores is Not what I think the Lowes aim for? These lights are NOT on Clearance so maybe Corporate can give me the answer to WHY I had issues at the other two stores? I would like a follow up email or phone call if possible? I am giving Lowe's a 5- star rating because I received outstanding customer service from an employee named Brianna. I was literally having a meltdown in flooring when Brianna spotted me and came to my rescue. Brianna was extremely professional and knowledgeable and helpful. Brianna did the work of about three people and was extremely kind to my daughter and even gave her a little notebook and first aid kit to keep her busy while I shopped. I even got a cup of coffee, which turned everything back around for me. It's pretty rare to receive such outstanding service these days, but I wanted to make sure that it was noticed. She instructed me to park on the other side to totally block the main driveway. The two men working in the drive through were great. I recently was extremely dissatisfied with a recent trip to Lowe's. It could have been handled but each Lowe's employees decided minus the Victor the store manager decided to say rude comments under their breath. I came in and purchased several bags of dirt and due to their misleading advertisement was forced to purchase more than I needed. Their add said I needed to purchase 3 bags to get 3 bags free. Since there was no price posted on the display I looked online and saw bags of dirt were advertised for 2.29. I purchased my basket full of stuff and when I reviewed the receipt there were six bags dirt at 2.29 and I realized I did not get 3 bags free. I went up to the counter and three different people tried to explain to me I did get the discount. I tried to explain to them the price online said the bag sold for 2.29 and that was the price and when I purchased 3 bags I should get 3 bags free. If the online price is 2.29 then that is the price of the nag of dirt and the discount should be taken after the advertised price. Lowe's should not have changed the advertised price prematurely Additionally, after I told michael that the advertised price of the bag of dirt is 2.29 then I was not required to purchase six bags to get the discount as it was available to all and that is where the deceptive advertisement comes in. Michael did not believe me so we threw a bag on the counter and scanned it and it came up as 2.29 Michael said it was not so we proceeded to put one bag on the counter and it rang up 2.29 cents. I generally have had no complaints re this location, and two years ago I had the best appliance-buying experience of my life purchasing a washer and dryer. So I went back last week to buy a dishwasher and wow have things changed. Did not hear from the installers after the 3 days specified, called them, dishwasher not in store yet. Called a few days later, told it was in, wait 2 days to hear from installer. Did not hear. Called the store, guy said it wasn't in yet. Explained I'd been told it was, he put me on hold came back said he had found it and went on to the truck personally to scan it, and to give installer a few days to call. Did not hear from installer after two days, called installer who said they had no record of it being scanned into their system. Called store, person said it had not arrived yet at the store. I explained that I was told it was received and scanned in. After a long discussion the rep went searching for the dishwasher and found it. Got a text from the installer saying it would be delivered in two days between 1-3 pm. At 2:45, installer called to say Lowe's told him they didn't have the dishwasher in the store. Called store, asked to speak with a manager, who initially said it wasn't in the store. I gave him the order number and he said the installer picked it up in the morning. I explained the installer called to say he tried to pick it up but store didn't have it. Manager went to look for the dishwasher and found it. When installer got to the store they did have the dishwasher but did not have all the accessories with it so he waited for them to get them and got to our house at 4:45. The installer was fantastic. Lowe's - terrible incompetence. If I ever buy an appliance again it will not be from this location. Bought a Samsung washer and dryer combo. Purchase, delivery and set up was a breeze. At the point of purchase, I was dealing with an associate Becky is what her fellow employees called her told me there was a form to fill out and increase your warranty ,extend it another year. She didn't have one but could get one... next day nothing, nothing the next day. Today, a week after purchase still no form. I stopped by the store 10/21/25 spoke with the associate at the appliance department, she said there wasn't a form, and nobody by the name of Becky worked there. Frustrated I needed a manager to straighten a completely unnecessary experience. Manager to assist me was Michael V . 1. He told me I didn't purchase it there..... I do 2. I ask him if he could ask the associate "Becky" about telling me about the form she could get. Michael V then told me there was no "Becky" that worked there...... confusing to say the least. We wanted a really thick Frasier Fur tree that would fit in the our living room and she had just unloaded many trees and knew the right spot to find them. These guys really are the worst. They have some nice employees working the aisles but management sucks. I ordered a vanity from them and the manager was handling my case because their brain dead employee couldn't figure out where it was. I finally got it and thought all the pieces were in the combo set and come to find out the base pedestal wasn't in there. I called to see if they could please ship it to the Job site and they hung up on me saying someone will call back and of course nothing. I was told that I had 60 days to return an item by the delivery man and the corporate office and was denied at my local store because their policy is to give you 48 whole hours to make a return. Had I used my Lowe's card, which I don't have due to the 31.99% interest charge on the card, I would have been given 90 days. My product was still in the unopened box and I had the receipt! Why didn't the delivery man tell me that if he left it here that I had only 48 hours to return it? Yes, 48 hours people. I will never shop there again and I work at a place where I am asked for recommendations for home improvements so I expect Home Depot to see a huge increase in their revenue. Stopped by for a variety of things. This location has one of the best garden areas in all of Pinellas County in both variety and quality of flora and fauna. We picked up a beautiful Rubylite Rose Calla lily(Cala Rubylite Rose) and 4 Stella de Oro Daylilies(Hemerocalis Stella de Oro). We also bought some hardware, too. We replaced our faucet cartridges in the kitchen. The store is always spotless and the folks seem friendly when you can find one. Bought a clothes dryer for over 1000.00 and they delivered the wrong electric cord for it so I had to return the cord they brought then buy the correct cord. Then I had to go to the service dept. to set up a service call for them to come out and install. We set it up for the following day- 4:30-6:30 Never called never showed! I called but no one seems to know what to do or say. i called the service dept. Kevin said let me call you back- he never called back....... In the mean time my laundry is piling up! Very disappointing experience with this store. I asked for measurements for plantation shutters, and they sent someone who doesn't do that. I asked him to measure for a skylight blind while he was there and the data he sent was never rendered into a quote until 2 weeks later when I called asking about it. And when I did get the shutters installed, one of them is backwards and so has to be reordered. . Update: And now the hurricane coverings I bought are missing an entire window. One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I paid for Lowes to come out and measure for blinds. After they got the measurements they called to let me know how much the blinds would be and I paid for the blinds. When the blinds were delivered I discovered that I was short one window. I guess the measurement company never sent that measurement for that window to Lowe's. I tried for weeks upon weeks to get this resolved. To get the measurement people to come back out and measure the window so I could order the window and have all of them installed at one time. The installers actually told me that they were going to come measure it never showed up and then they told me they would just measure it when they come to install the other windows. So now Lowe's wants me to pay for installation again for the one missing blind that I need to order. Truly some of the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I've spent countless hours trying to get this resolved and it should've been done correctly to begin with. My husband and I bought a home last year and had Lowes install new flooring. The whole experience with the Lowes on gulf to bay in Clearwater was just not what I would expect from a national brand. They were rude, did not return calls, ignored calls, had little to no communication.. from cashier to store manager just basically had zero cares to give. After many calls to the store and the corporate line I vowed to never use them again and have stuck to that vow! About a month after installation we noticed part of the floor was bowing up and a board had actually popped up. With reluctancy and filled with dread, we made the call to report the issue and have it fixed....about 6months ago, after several more calls someone came to have a look at the issue. The original installer put the boards too tight and did not install a transition to keep everything in place. To fix this one board would require 6 boxes of flooring and half the room to be torn up and redone. He notified the company of the materials they needed to order and we were told Lowes would contact us to set up the repairs. A few weeks went by with no communication, so we called them and were told the ticket had been closed out as completed. As no work had been done, they reopened the ticket and we waited.. several phone calls and months later, we we told the materials were in and someone would be out yesterday to get started. Unfortunately, he had to call in sick yesterday but would be here today to complete the job.‍He did show up today but wasn't told that he needed to pick up materials on his way... so after 20 minutes of phone calls he was told that the materials could not be found and the person who was supposed to secure them could not be reached so he couldn't do the job today. We were told to call Monday and reschedule. I will say that the one bright spot has been the installer, Sergio,(who is an independent contractor and not a Lowe's employee) who listened to me go from zero-karen in about 10 seconds and somehow left here, figured out how to get the supplies and returned to complete the job. So please, please heed my warning...save yourselves from the anxiety, the mental anguish, the frustration, the high blood pressure, the tested patience and the time..just #dontshopatlowes read more

Terrible delivery. I called inquiring why my delivery was still late. Speaking with the manager he said they called to deliver yesterday (Saturday) as per their schedule and it wasn't true. I called the customer service to inquire about my delivery and they said they would deliver the following day (Sunday) between 9am and 1pm since the driver was late. Sunday said they couldn't deliver cause they weren't organized to do so with their personnel, and pushed it to Monday. Total lack of responsibility and ability to organize, still don't have the furniture delivered. The manager even asked me if I can organize and hire people to grab the delivery from the truck on Monday since they can't organize to have their people handle the delivery as they should have done on Saturday due to lack of personnel. This is a total joke, lack of organization, and inability to deliver a proper product. Also, no handling for the trouble was offered. Hotter than outside! I have complained in writing, to the manager, left it here but it didn't show up! I now complained to corporate. We are remodeling our house and need to go here regularly the last couple months but every time we do it's so hot we have to leave and not get everything! Between having the mask on and the heat We are soaking wet after just a few minutes. When we ask they say the temp is controlled out of South Carolina - I don't care who controls it fix it!!' There are times when entering a store, one might expect to make a purchase of items and exit unceremoniously. However, Lumber Associate Ron Coats, took the lead from the Lumber Manager and filled my order. Bro. Coats went to work and in no time, selected the best boards and followed through by cutting the two (2) eight foot pieces in half. Moreover, Ron finished his job at the cash register, and fully shrink wrapped the four (4) foot sections together. Shrink wrapping facilitates and is the preferred way to take a limited number of boards to travel by PSTA, to a given location. Moreover, it is factually the best way to travel by bus, cutting down on splatter and possible injury. I want to thank again Ron Coates and his Lumber Manager for helping in such a way. Please be advised that this is not the first time I have worked with Ron who has always given me the best of customer service. read more

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I'm so tired of going into Lowe's and never finding someone to help. Today was no different, only it went to new lows. I had the bright idea that I would just run over on my lunch to purchase a shower head replacement hose, which their website said was in stock, but after wandering the plumbing and fashion plumbing aisles, I still couldn't find what I was looking for. As usual, not a salesperson in sight, so I rang the bell. Three minutes. Five minutes. Ten minutes. Finally, as I'm about to leave a salesperson walks by and rudely helps another guy near me by pointing to the aisle he wants. The customer says "he has been waiting for you" to the salesperson, who looks at me and says "it'll be a minute" and walks away. At this point I'm completely over it and go to the customer service desk to complain. Upon arriving at the empty desk, the associate turns her back to me and starts sorting through bins. Seriously? Lowe's, you want my business? I think not. You don't deserve it. You haven't earned it. I will never shop with you again, and I will tell everyone about my experience. Lowe's is our preferred home improvement store. The employees are always super friendly and knowledgeable, not only with helping me find where an item is located, but willing to listen to my project and offer suggestions on how I can get it done. What I really like about this location is their twice-a-month kid's workshops. The kits may be based on kid's movies, but the kids really like that, and the kits are fairly easy to put together. They are made out of real wood and have so far lasted through some heavy playing. The kits have stickers, but the base item can be painted instead, or once the stickers get ruined. I really like that this location sells "sample size" paint containers that you can get mixed to whatever color you choose. These 7-8 ounce containers are absolutely perfect for small craft projects (such as painting the resulting toy from the kid's workshop!). You can also have wood and PVC cut by an employee. I've never been charged for the cuts, although my requests have been fairly simple and straightforward. This is especially nice since we don't have any saws at our house, and no place to store any, either. read more
