I really enjoy this Lowe's. They often have a few tools that are unique. The wood selection is pretty good but you have to go through the piles on the day they stock to get the best selection. They often have sales in the summer time on bark and ground cover. Keep an eye out for those summer block buster deals. read more

Used to love this store till i tried to return a few Xmas gifts and extra things I have bought tHis past year that I found in my garage . Although the girls were extremely nice not one person including the manager knew the return policy . They scanned my things then printed out a receipt saying it would not go through with my Id. WHAT? This does not make sense to me at all . Whether it was a gift or something I bought but never used there is no reason if it belongs to that store and is unopened that they should not except my return . I will say that even though they don't always have what I need returning items at this Lowes is literally the easist ever! I returned two screen doors about 45 days after I bought them and they asked no questions and gave me a full refund. This review is more about a corporate issue than the local Lowe's, however it will keep me from shopping at any Lowe's again. I saw an ad on TV late Sunday night for bags of mulch, 4 for $10. First thing Monday I got online and clicked on the weekly ad. It didn't have 4/$10 listed but instead had name brand mulch listed 3/$12. I went to the store anyway and asked. Turns out the ad that was on TV had already expired (or at least that is what they told me in the store) and the ad I saw online Monday didn't start until Thursday!? To make things worse, when I emailed the company to complain I got an email back saying, yes, the ad you saw on TV was already expired and the ad you saw online hadn't started. They said they would have the local store follow up with me, yet one, the local store wasn't the one that made the TV ad mistake, and two, they never did contact me. I don't think I'll be shopping here any more. read more

I am loyal customer to Lowes and the are workers are great worker. I am a repeat customer because I get treated as an customer. Customer always come first I do believe this to be true with good faith and trust with service. Now, why this is not true when you order something special in your life that changes that is costly and important. So no what the reason why the trust in customer service drop the ball in communication in the delivery department. I see department stores close because of drop of sales and no repeat sales because of this and don't wish to see this happen. The other Lowes workers show great customer service which I do trust but when it come to malicious delivery service this an great fault in failure in Lowes Department stores. All the other department will fail on my grade because this insensitivity to customer service! Review for millworks and management - Placed a special order door order with Cynthia on 6/5. I should have known when she bragged from the go about how available she is to her customers and they can call or email her any time and she'll respond, even at home. Lead time said 10 days. Two weeks later I called and emailed to get an update on delivery with no response. Finally Valerie helps me and takes my info. Calls me back to say they'll arrive the 29 and delivered on 30. I call to confirm on the 29th and they say, no, they'll be here on July 6. Mind you, I have emailed Cynthia and copied all the people she originally copied and never received a response. When I asked for a reason why they took my info and said someone would call me. Friday the 30th, at 8pm, Valerie calls and says, they're scheduled to arrive on the 30th. When I clarified for Valerie that was today and they had not arrived she says she'll have to call me next week(4th of July and vendor is closed). No one calls me the next week so I escalate to manager Kevin and (asst mgr?) Matt who finally told me that the hold up was one door (of 13). Matt says the doors now look like delivery the 10th. Now over a month delayed. But tells me not to schedule my installers bc he can't be sure. So here we are the 11th and lo and behold Cynthia pops backs up to call and tell me three of my doors won't be delivered today - two are damaged and one is missing?? Talked to Kevin again who was going try and figure out how long it will take to get replaced but he has yet to call me back. Absurd. Worst service, no one doing anything but reading the script and not trying to go above and beyond to correct things. Matt did refund me a partial amount but outside of that, their lackadaisical approach is beyond frustrating. I went here on convenience bc I was working in the area and they had he best pricing. Today, I called the Home Depot by my house where I got all my windows, closets and front door and ordered the missing items. I'll never come here again. Nor will I ever shop with Lowes again. THIS REVIEW IS REGARDING AN INSTALLMENT OF WINDOW TREATMENTS Im not very impressed with their customer service. We thought to try lowes for our window treatments in our new home. The first day I went on a wednesday at around 1130 and there was no one in sight in that dept I was told by a another sales associate that the girl who handled that dept was at lunch come back in 20 minutes....when i did return no one was there I finally found the associate Paula. She didnt really explain the process well ....should have been a clue to what I got myself into. I had to pay $40 to have someone come do an estimate that would be applied to installation. The rep that came (Jarod) to the house was rude and complained he shouldnt have to work on a saturday. He said we couldnt do vertical blinds in his words the ones they sell at Lowes are cheap! our only options were shutters because we had a bullnose frame he needed 2 1/2 in. in the frame to do vertical blinds which we did not have enough space. Fine he was done in and out within 20 minutes with measurements. He apparently is a contractor hired by lowes( I found this out after the fact) I was told by monday I would have an estimate on price (2 days) by Jarod as well as Paula. Monday came and no call. My boyfriend called and spoke to Paula she told him to come in tomorrow Tuesday so they could discuss options on material. He wasted time only to get there and be told she still didnt have measurements and be told she didnt remember talking to him..... what!! I was frustrated I called and spoke to Kari an install rep. She claimed Jarod had still not sent measurements. she would try him on his cell but she got no response. She was very understanding and helpful. The next day I got a call from Kari she said Paula needed to send the measurements over to someone who did the shutters to get an estimate. Friday I finally hear from Paula she left a voicemail the estimate was $3,500 she was guessing $3,800 with tax. I call her back same day within 15 minutes of voicemail and the stupid girl who answered the phone kept saying she didnt know of any girl that worked there named Paula....I asked her 3 times to double check. Over the weekend i never got a call or heard anything. Monday I called again the operater couldnt get a hold of Paula she tried twice. Again I had to talk to Kari I told her they couldnt reach Paula and that I just wanted to cancel it was too expensive. Really horrible service. We ordered a new fridge and paid for the removal of the old one - a built-in. First mistake - after scheduling a delivery date, the delivery company never called because Lowes misallocated our fridge. Then, the delivery company refused to take the old fridge out because it wasn't disconnected from the cabinet. So we had did that and moved it near our front door. We called back and this time they won't take it because they need a 4-man crew but only sent a 2-man crew. Really disorganized and crappy service. read more

Just had my kitchen remodeled by Lowes in Corona. From start to finish this was a great experience. I originally met with Jack and Jennifer to design the kitchen and go over plans. Both were very friendly and easy to work with. Jennifer is a master at cabinet design. Jack helped me pick all the details. Eddie the contractor and his crew were top notch! Always here on time, never missed a day, always kept my house clean and the workmanship is fantastic! Had people come and finish things up on a Saturday night just so I could have my kitchen completed on the weekend. WOW!! Naomi called me from the store a few times a week to check in and keep me posted on things. I am very pleased with the outcome. The warranty is excellent too! read more

Become our hardware store because we live so close. We like that there isn't much else in the shopping center, so it's never crowded and hard to park. Been happy overall, except our last visit we couldn't find any veggies in their garden section? We are guessing we just missed it because that would be strange. We just ordered a new microwave and stove from here. The microwave was installed by a third party which was on time and professional. DO NOT HAVE ANY APPLIANCES DELIVERED!!!They have the absolute worst, lazy and incompetent delivery company I have ever experienced in my life. The day they were supposed to deliver, the 2 guys never rang the door bell. They just took a picture of our door and left. Then when called to ask where are delivery was, they refused to come back that day. Day 2, they were about to pull the same stunt but I was by the door and opened it when I saw them coming. They installed the doors on the refrigerator crooked and did not properly hook up the washer and dryer. We asked for someone at the store to come and fix what the delivery company screwed up. He fixed the crooked doors but was unable to help with the washer. 5 days later the problem was finally taken care of and we were able to use our washing machine machine. Had the Delivery guys just done their job correctly the first day, none of this would have happened. read more

Have had several very poor experiences here at this Lowe's. I think the store manager is oblivious to the horrendous customer service issues; Long lines with one cashier, employees who aren't familiar with certain transaction procedures, and an overall sense of the store being void of having any available associates to help. On several occasion I had to wait over 20min for either a return, and assistance in any department. A lot of the time I'll just leave the store and go up the street to Home Depot and get what I need done twice as fast. But I keep trying to give this location a chance. It is starting to seem like this is a very portly manager Lowe's store. I will however continue to shop at other Lowe's locations. And PS: The people here at this location are very pleasant, but time is money, and I seem to waste both shopping here. read more

I was helped by an employee with the name Cynthia. She was so amazing. She helped me January 11, 2019. I have been wanting to create a vanity of my own, and she was helping me think of all different ways I can set it up without having to mount it to the wall. Talking to her felt like talking to a family member of mine. Very funny and knows what she is talking about. Regarding the Lowe's Corona, CA store (#1743) - I hope that you're happy that you've pretty much lost a customer for not only this store, but Lowe's stores in general. "Never Stop Improving." What a joke, as your employees/team needs to take your corporate motto and apply it to themselves, as my experience leaves me with a LOT of things that need to be improved upon by the Lowe's team. - Customer/Client Communications - is it really that difficult to call a customer/client back? Do several messages need to be left and a trip to the store to try to have a one-on-one necessary when a return call could do the trick? - Employee Communications - Do stores not have regular meetings? Do they not exchange emails to update managers and supervisors as to what's going on? Is there not a system in place so that the team can work together to solve a problem with customer/client? - Empty Promises - How about instead of telling the customer that someone will get back to them in 24-hours, someone actually does? - Apologies - if the Lowe's employees made a mistake, small or large, how does an apology not immediately fall from their lips? And, with a large mistake, how does one just stand there and act like it's not a mistake? A simple, "I'm sorry. I'm going to work on making it work for you," would go so far in appeasing frustration and anger. - Customer Service - They're great at apologizing and stating "that's not how we work." How about actual follow-up with a customer/client that has filed a complaint more than once about the same issue that hasn't been rectified. Don't think the complaints and issues from the phone or online seem to go anywhere. Because, again, see first point about "customer/client communications." - "Kitchen design specialists" - wow. That's a joke. How about hiring someone that can actually make correct calculations and know how to use the design tools at their disposal. Or at least admit to errors that have been made and apologize, then try to fix it. - Installation staff - Maybe actually hire people who can do the job instead of showing up late, then disappearing before the job is even completed. Yeah, we have a new guy that is supposedly going to fix everything to our "satisfaction" but it shouldn't have taken unanswered phone calls, missed appointments and complaints to corporate to get this done. - Managers that actually "manage" - maybe have a training program (or if you do, it obviously doesn't take) because a store manager that doesn't seem to have any clue as to what is going on in the store in general, nor knows what kinds of mistakes and errors employees are making is a sure-fire way to run a store. How does a store manager not know that his staff skips out on confirmed appointments? What does it take to take lead on a project to find a solution that his employees messed up on? How can a manager not light a fire under his team to get a customer/client to stop complaining and move the complaint up? - Consequences - It seems like there aren't any. Because either the employees of the store are completely oblivious and apathetic (which wow, nice hires) or they don't care because they know nothing is going to happen when they make glaringly huge mistakes (again, wow, more people should work for Lowe's because there's no chance of getting punished - dream job!). Make a statement that this complaint will be going up the chain to corporate, and the reply is indifference? So, instead of trying to appease the customer and telling them that a solution will be found, there's a complete lack of concern. Okay, then. Needless to say, my experience with Lowe's has been less than stellar. It's going to take a lot to even consider going back for any future projects. I think I'd rather pay more knowing I don't have to ever enter a Lowe's store again. I'd even rather deal with competitors that don't even try to be more than they are. The sad thing is...this could have been all avoided if responsibility was taken, proactive actions taken, phone calls made and even a show of effort was made. I don't know what is so difficult to just make a simple phone call, instead of making frustrations and annoyances mount to the point where you can't even be pleasant anymore. Maybe it's a Lowe's culture thing? After all, corporate/HQ does set the tone. Or maybe Lowe's shouldn't try so hard to be Home Depot but only prettier - because at least Home Depot isn't trying to put on a facade of being better or more than what they claim to be. Oh - and P.S. - the project that started back in July/August 2014 still isn't completed. read more

It's a pretty good store with a full selection of items, but I didn't feel like the customer service was as good as the location on Magnolia by Tyler. While I was looking for plumbing supplies, there was no one in the department for me to ask questions. As I was walking down other aisles and made eye contact with the sales help, they averted their eyes and sped passed. Lowes has the crappiest policy - for the extended service - At Lowe's of Corona I purchased a freezer with extended coverage for my home and the delivery went flawless! However, that same day I purchased a refridgerator with the extended warranty - and it took them over a week to deliver it - and when they did it was had a defect in the door - another week to deliver another one. Now they tell me to switch the serial numbers on our coverage and guess what - they wont honor their coverage that I purchased because it is in a office with less traffic than my own home and no one seems to care - OH WELL we will just refund your $100 - it doesnt matter that you want the protection plan and that we committed FRAUD when selling you this service and product - we can have someone deliver the cash to your office or you can come to our store to pick it up - so folks after 17 total hours of dealing with Lowes to get a fridge with a protection plan for our office... I am the one that looses because of their mistake - and I either have to spend more time to get another fridge or keep this one and only get a 1 year warranty!! I thought that Lowe's was better than this!! I have been a very loyal customer for the past 10 years - not sure now. It depends on if they honor their contract. read more

Our experience was the same as David R...horrible customer service and non-apologetic. One hour ago we drove a half hour to buy a new portable air conditioner at Lowe's on Magnolia in Corona. We opened the box as soon as we arrived at home and many of the parts were missing. I called immediately and was given the manager of the department who I simply couldn't understand because he didn't have the phone to his mouth. I told him about our situation and he said we could return it. I told him we had JUST been there and that my friend who purchased it had just had back surgery. He would be alone the following days and couldn't drive that far much less carry this rather heavy unit. The manager, as David R said was unapologetic...not a "wow that's really messed up," or "what can we do to make this right?" He simply said, well I've never had a situation like this. Most people just return them," ...then said, "we've never had a return on this item." I told him he had NOW, and I'm guessing you had one before us because this box had clearly been opened and returned...probably because parts were missing. I told them I knew they had a courier service so why couldn't they use that since this was clearly their fault. He said he could use that but it would cost us $79.00. This is unbelievable to me. In this age of exemplary service most everywhere, I am shocked that a company like Lowe's could spend so little time on training their employees on customer service. I have noticed how poor the service has been at the the local Homedepot's. {coming from a homedepot fan} but out of rage I decided to call lowes and have the Contracter desk pull an order. I pulled in and with in 15 minutes they had stacked all the drywall i needed and wrapped it in plastic because i told them i was taking it to Las Vegas,they loaded in the back of my truck and i was on the way. On 7/5/15 shower doors were ordered, I was supposed to get them by 7/24/15; a week before the due date I started calling about the status of my order; the due date came and went and no shower doors; two days later I was informed that my doors were in Back Order and I would get them by 8/20/15; the new due date came and went and no doors; as I followed up on my order I was informed that my shower doors will arrive on 9/5/15. I have been to a lot of lowes all over so cal but this one by my home is horrible first I have had wood cut here a couple of times and every time they miss cut the dimensions but I could make work but last Sunday while shopping for doors the employee who was " helping us" answered his phone and continued to talk for several minutes completely ignoring us we walked out never looking back went to the depot paid forty dollars less and actually got great service. with that said there are always too many employees in this store and not that many customers. i have had decent service here before but its more of the crapy service 9 out of 10 visits . dont get me started on the time i walked out after they called someone to the sectio 7 times over thirty min and no one showed walked out left hundreds of dollars of product because they cant get it right at this store ! read more
