I ordered a mini-split system which cost over $1000 because it was rated the best. I understood that it could take up to 10 business days to receive the item due to Covid-19. After the 12th business day with no update, email, call, or anything I called the store asking to know what is happening. They said that they would look into it and call me back. Being busy I forgot and called back the next day only to receive the same answer. They told me that they could not locate the item and would need to do some further research but would discount the item for the delay. Day 17 rolls around and no call back. Finally right before calling an email was sent stating my item is ready for pickup. On showing up they could not locate the item and would need to look for it. 2 days later they said they found the item however, it was a two piece system and they only had one of the pieces. Again they offered another discount on top of the one they stated they were giving me. 3 days after that I called because I have the hvac guy I had to cancel on multiple times waiting to install it. They then could not find the first piece and stated it was not delivered although the shipping company stated it was. Finally a manager gets involved and states he will call back. The next day he calls and says he apologizes but they cannot find the item and he is going to put in a rush order to be delivered and will even have it taken to my house. He also states that he would be getting corporate involved and add an additional discount. 10 days later and still no update. When calling back again the manager was out of the office, at lunch, or sick because those were all the responses we got trying to get a hold of him the entire day. Called back the next day and still no response plus their system does not allow comments to be made on orders. What!? I end up going in to speak to any manager and cannot be helped because they do not know what this other manager was doing to rectify the situation. They then proceed to tell me in store to just cancel the order and try and reorder again. I tell them no and I want a call back from the manager. 4 days after that I get a call that says the package is in and it is being delivered to my house in the afternoon with the receipt. The package shows up at the end of the day and when I look at the receipt it is for FULL price. I call the store to speak with the manager who had called earlier and the same manager who stated it would be greatly discounted for all of the problems. When I finally get through the continuous loops on their call system after 15 minutes of trying the person says they would transfer me. The on-hold music plays for a second and then the phone hangs up. I call back and after 10 minutes finally get someone to transfer me to a guy that picks up and says the manager is out to lunch. He tells me to call back in 30 minutes which I did. The same guy that answered before picked up and said well I guess hes not in today.......or he went home. He then tells me to try and call back the next day. Without a shadow of a doubt has been the worst experience with any order in person/online. Their customer service was short, rude, and clueless to on how their systems worked. They could not get their story straight giving one excuse to the next. They lied multiple times to include not taking off one cent from the original purchase. I will not be doing any business with them in the future. **Note** When in store there were multiple customers complaining of not receiving their packages as well and not getting updates. So we been checking out the deals on appliances & finally made the decision on getting All new appliances. We came in on Thursday afternoon & Danny helped explain everything to us but we had to leave to a appointment. On 4-9-19 we ended Up going back again & locking in a deal. We got a new stove dishwasher & washer & dryer. We gotta admit Danny was extremely helpful went over & beyond in details in helping us choose which was best for us. I did a little research on online before going in but Danny explained so much more. We know we got great deals all with warranties included. Not only did we ended Up getting appliances we ended Up getting way more than expected. We got 3 new toilets, bathroom vanity, locks, light fixtures, faucets and a few more things. Each department was So helpful this. Thanks to John back in doors we will be ordering a new garage door. We were there seems like Forever! But we got what we needed and way more than what we wanted. Wow. EPIC FAIL! I get that these big box stores don't always offer the best customer service, but I had hoped to have a better experience when I came in to order a set of window blinds. I asked for help in the department, no one came. I rang the service bell, no one came. Someone finally wandered up, sat down and never spoke to me. I asked him if he could help with my order and he could not, as he had no idea how to do this. Apparently it was "Inventory Day." Not sure why that was my problem, but there it is. I asked this person to find someone who had experience with this, and he wandered over to the Paint department, where I overheard him tell his co-worker that I was being a bitch. I intervened and he never apologized, just shrugged. I then demanded the store manager, to which he replied, he did not know where he was. OK, enough is enough. I decided to just leave, and go to the other store... you know, Home Depot. As I was leaving, I asked the friendly cashier if she could give me the name of the store manager to which she replied... hmmm, I don't know. Robert, maybe? The other cashier within earshot piped in with, Yeah, Robert. His last name might be xxxx, Ii'm not sure. You can't make this stuff up. I am a friendly person, who lives in this neighborhood and who spends a lot of money on the things this store sells. And I'm not a reviewer who only gives bad reviews. This afternoon, the Lowes in Corona, CA, had only two check stands open (and no self-check). At the first check stand, both clerks were only partially wearing their face masks over their mouths, not fully over their noses and mouths. (It was bad enough that several customers were doing this, too.) So, to be safer, I stood an extra long time in the second checkout line, where the clerk was wearing her mask properly. I tried to talk with a manager about this, to let her know why I was not comfortable with the checkers at the first check stand. But she couldn't understand what I was talking about, even though, by that time, one of the checkers with the partial face covering was standing right next to her listening. Then, the manager just walked away as my order was completed, and didn't allow me to finish what I was saying to her! Unbelievable. So, if you value your health and safety, do not go inside this store. The staff do not know how to wear their PPE, and the managers are oblivious. I will never darken their door again. read more

Dropped in to buy 1 patio chair that I should have added to my previous patio furniture delivery. I couldn't find what I wanted but Jason came to help and we went in search to find it. We found it and got to the registers when I realized I had the wrong one. Back we went to search and found the correct one. Got all the way to the car and Jason tried and tried to get it in my car and it just wouldn't fit. Ultimately I had to return it without getting out of the parking lot! I approached Casimiro (flooring section, I think) that was too busy on this computer. I kindly said "Excuse me, where can I find the cleaning items?" He did not look up but said "sure" He kept us waiting and kept busy on his computer. We finally gave up said "never mind, thank you" and walked away. He did not even bother to say sorry, explain the delay or stopped what he was doing. I bumped to the next representative and immediately helped me. I was trying to get a refund for a gift card a store associate had previously made useable when she scratched the number off and made it unreadable. First, they said there was nothing on it so my sister got me the receipt, then when I brought it in they said they were not responsible because it was bought at a CVS and to call the customer service number on the back of the card. The customer service line said that Lowe's would refund it so I had my sister take it to the customer service desk while customer service was on the phone with her. She told the customer service associate what the guy on the line said, so the lady at the desk called in the manager. The manager Pam came in a significant amount of time later and could be heard yelling from a distance that she didn't want to talk to customer service on the phone and that they had no authority and that they are not responsible for gift cards, and carrying on and got madder and madder the more my sister's anxiety visibly got worse and worse. She had a full-on panic attack. Pam finally relented and issued the refund saying that it was all "nothing." Don't buy Lowe's gift cards. Avoid having to go through the customer service wringer by not doing any kind of business with Lowe's at all. read more

An upside was there were a few cute girls working there. The downside is that they did not know anything. We had an online approval with progressive leasing for this location. I needed a new dishwasher and decided to get other items while I was there. The guy at the appliance center took long enough to get there to let us know the dishwasher we want will be in on Monday. On problem really. Then he tells us since we are getting more items we can add them to the lease "up front". Ok sure. We go to the register, tell the checker it's a progressive lease and she says "ok just put you number in, it'll come up." Did that. Dishwasher is on there. She then rings up everything else and tells me the total. Ok great but it's progressive leasing. I'm not paying that. It's $1 today. Another checker rushes up and says "are you trying to leave without paying?!" We tell her no, it's progressive and she says "I've never even heard of that!" Ultimately, the supervisor, customer service person and two checkers cannot figure out how to use it. They tell me to download the Lowe's app and scan everything and give them the barcode. I do that but there's no barcode. I go to the progressive app I originally applied at and follow those distractions. No barcode. I tell the "manager" that I have never had to do all this for a lease from progressive. I always just give them the lease number and the look it up. Nope, no help. Follow the steps over and over and it is not giving any imaginary barcode. Customer service lady was rude as hell, checker was rude and accused me of trying to steal and manager was useless. How are they so clueless to the progressive program when it all over their damn stores? We decided to just go to Best Buy for the dishwasher since this place is full of dunderheads that couldn't give a crap about the customer. If I could give zero I would. read more

This Lowes rocks. The staff is excellent and always helpful and considerate. One of my biggest problems with shopping (other than spending all my money) is the checkout lines, this Lowe's never has long lines :). There carts for you at the entrance, tons of parking I never half to walk far at all. They have something called Build and Grow (a kids program where do projects) every other sat. at 10am. I took my daugter this week to make a jewerly box it super fun for the kids and they get a apron and badge for participating! They have a huge garden section! The store looks like the keep it clean and bathrooms are unexpectedly clean and have been remodeled. As a side note there were have a really great sale on clearance items and military families receive a 10% discount on purchases! read more

Bright lights, clean floors, friendly and helpful staff, a variety of products to make your home, business or backyard nice and comfortable. I love it. I came in today to browse the books of wallpaper (yeah, people still use that crap occasionally :) I didn't find what I was looking for, for this particular project (my daughters bathroom) but they do have many nice, classic and fun kid wall papers to choose from. I wish I could give them zero stars. I bought a microwave on Lowes.com and it was malfunctioning after less than 2 months. Went in to do what I thought would be a simple return. I ended up spending an hour (no exaggeration) in the returns department and there was no line so I walked right up to an associate. I had my receipt, was within the return window but they couldn't process my return. The one associate called another and they went back and forth trying to figure it out. They made several phone calls which amounted to nothing. One of them tried to tell me it was most likely due to the microwave being out of the 30 day return window. I had to correct her and inform her that the Lowe's return policy (according to their website) is now 60 days for appliances due to COVID-19. Her response, "well, I don't know about that." Customer knowing more than the person who works there, not good. They eventually told me they could give me store credit, which I was not having. I asked to speak to a manager who sent a message back to me with one of the associate's telling me he was counting money but he would be there in a few minutes. He finally showed up but not to help me but to take money from the returns registers. After a few minutes, he finally came over and spoke to me and told me that I would have to return the item to the store it was "sold from" because it was a "special order." I told him I bought it online and it wasn't a "special order." He said anything they don't sell in stores is considered a special order to which I replied if that's the case Lowe's needs to change the language in their returns policy. Also, I asked what guarantees I had that I wouldn't go to the other store (Riverside) and have the same issue. He said he could have one of his associates call ahead. Needless to say, he was not helpful at all. Also, he had a very arrogant attitude. He was the store manager, Ken or Kevin. His picture is up by returns with something about commitment to customer service or some BS. Useless. I ended up leaving, no return, no solution. I went to the Riverside store and they had the same issue BUT they were able to do an override and return my money. They stated my return could've been processed the same way at this store and that it had nothing to do with the store the microwave was "sold from." This store just lost my business. read more

Well, I was going to call the manager after I left the store but after looking at reviews, seems as though my complaint will fall on deaf ears. Went in today 7-12-2020 to purchase a gas range for our kitchen. The gal in appliances Hailey was super helpful, and very nice. We had a Lowe's card in the past, but apparently due to non usage it had been closed so she signed us up for a new one, and then told us to go to the customer service desk for a printout. Here is where is gets convoluted...approach the front desk and there are three girls there and no customers, two of the employees are having a conversation, it was loud enough for both myself and my husband to hear they are gossiping and clearly could've helped us. Finally after us standing there for a few minutes watching this take place, one gal (didn't get her name but she was older and had long grey hair pulled into a pony tail) asks if she can help us. My husband states we just purchased a gas range in appliances and that Hailey told us that customer service could give us our print out to which this gal states that is incorrect and we needed to go through a regular register, also let me add, this gal was very rude and made it seems as though we were a bother. We wait in line, and finally go to register 8, Rose is the cashier. We explain how we were told by customer service to come to a register and she is confused by this stating that they should've helped us, Rose was nothing but helpful and very nice, but she also stated she did not know how to help us, now here comes a gal named Linda, and a gal named Pam. Both of them even stated that customer service should've helped us, but Pam stated she would help. She ran our credit again, signed us up for yet another card, to which now we are declined because they ran us twice and signed up twice...at one point there were four cashier standing at this register watching and talking shit about who should've done what. It was a complete shit show! We wound up having to use a different card for our purchase and was told once the item comes in, to save our receipt, they will refund off of that card, and charge the Lowe's card....horrible, and let me say it again HORRIBLE customer service. Normally I choose Lowe's over Home Depot any day, but now, I have to say once all of this is said and done, I will give all of my business to Home Depot. We have more appliances to buy, but you can be damn sure it won't be from Lowe's. I'm not sure who should've done what, but from the looks of it, every employee with the exception of Hailey in appliances was either passing the buck/blame and no one tried to fix the situation.
